My dogs were loved, bonded with, and cared for while getting incredible training. They allowed my dogs to sleep together at night which made me feel extra comforted while they were away. I didn't know what to expect when they started and being without your dogs for that long of a time requires a lot of trust. There was so much care put into communicating with me during their time away, including occasional video updates showing me how they were progressing. I would say my dogs were pretty well behaved before going to training, but theres a lot of prejudice in the world against pitbulls. Thanks to Joe and his team I now have the confidence and comfortability going to public parks, beaches and even being in my own yard knowing that when I call they will come. They were trained to walk on and off leash and to respond to commands necessary. They came back calmer, their coats were shinier and looking healthier than ever. Not only were the dogs given the training, but Joe then took the time and care to ensure I was ready to bring them home and keep the work going. He has taken many phone calls from me with questions and continues to work with both myself, family members and my dogs post the 7 week training. I can't say enough how grateful I am for how they have cared for my dogs. I highly recommend K9 to anyone who needs boarding or training.

I reached out to Nikki's K9 training in a moment of desperation and could not be more glad that I did! Nikki totally renewed my love for my dog and has set my dog up for success at home and in stressful environments. After the first session with Nikki, I had a whole new dog! My puppy was calmer, able walk politely on a leash, knew how to look for leadership, and follow training directions overall. I worked with 3 other trainers (private and group sessions) and a dog socialization program without any progress before I met Nikki. Nikki's program and approach is the only thing that has made a difference in my dog's behavior. On top of the training, Nikki has a wealth of knowledge in canine health and nutrition. She helped design a feeding plan for my puppy that was customized to his breed and size. Nikki has been able to answer every question I've had related to dog ownership with expertise and compassion. Most of all, I appreciate how Nikki really understands my dogs needs. She does not try to train away what makes my puppy special. Instead, she customizes her approach to align the the dog's overall motivation which makes for a much happier puppy! 1,000,000/10

We were blessed enough to work with Nikki, and I am happy to say our dog Saffie is a very different dog. We were able to build her confidence up working with Nikki and her amazing doggie partner Koda. We now have her crate trained and off leash trained! She still doesn't like other dogs or new people, but she's much less reactive now than she was before training with Nikki. If you have a dog that needs a lot of help, or a dog that just needs some fine tuning, then Nikki is your answer. Thanks Nikki, and thanks Koda!

I cannot reconcile the 4.8 star average rating with the horrible, uncaring, unresponsive service we…read morereceived at this practice. We brought our 7 year old, very small (5-6 lb.) cat in on a Monday because she was losing weight and having bathroom accidents. Blood tests lead to an $800 ultrasound on four days later on Friday, with no interim advice or possible solutions, zero sense of urgency. No weekend follow up after the ultrasound, then the office closed on Monday for a snow day with zero coverage by phone or email until very late in the day after repeat calls/voicemails/texts. Poor cat was doing very poorly by the end of Monday and ended up in the ER, where we were told she was in late stage kidney failure. The vet finally called us the next day and showed zero compassion, wanted to do more tests to find out why she was in kidney failure. If there was a way to cancel payment for all services charged by this vet, I would definitely do so. We ultimately had to do the humane thing that afternoon and say goodbye to our beautiful little girl. If you do not care about your animals and have money to burn on useless tests with no solutions, this is your vet.

This company was great for the first year we used them. We relied on EP services and would leave detailed notes to remind them of the cats' needs and dietary/medical requirements. Generally, the team at EP did a great job and were a trusted service provider. Recently they changed their billing policies, we had previously used VenMo and they switched to requiring a CC, which is fine, we always paid our invoices and we're in good standing. After a recent trip, we had Qs regarding their new billing policies, these Qs remained unanswered despite numerous attempts to contact them. We received a response from the EP team that they would reply shortly - they never did. We then found late fees auto-charged to our CC due to not paying the invoices within the terms, however, we had held payment due to our queries not being answered over the course of weeks, despite them saying they would respond. The EP mgmt team, when reminded and informed of our Qs, and subsequent dissatisfaction w/ the late fees, was extremely unproffesional and rude to my partner, and said our account was closed and they would not continue service. They also implied we were high maintenance when we had called after hours, while we were out of state, asking if someone could check on one of our cats who had not been seen on one of our 3 cat cameras for 12 hrs. They implied we panicked - which any good animal owner would do - because we reached out. They failed to recall that earlier this summer, one of their associates actually locked one of our special needs cats in the wrong "zone" of our home, a major concern that jeopardized our cat's safety. When that originally happened, they were great about rectifying the situation, but it was very rich of them to accuse/imply us of being panicked, when we had a past experience when their incompetence put our cat's welfare at risk. This company owes us late fees and has sketchy business practices. I compliment them for their care of the cats, generally, but the management of the business, their inconsistent/shady billing practices, and terrible customer support/rudeness to standing customers is unacceptable. Do not use this service.

I will most definitely badly review places so I can warn people of terrible experiences. The good ones, I always try and report as well because we all want to know the bottom line on where to go. With this place I was nervous because with my pets I'm protective and picky. There was a wait to get in but the reviews made me do just that. I'm happy to report this establishment didn't disappoint. It's attractive for sure but that's not the deciding factor in any way. Aside from first visual impression which is above board as far as cleanliness and beauty...the first impression of the staff was also wonderful. They were knowledgeable and welcoming. The end result was a perfect series of cuts (I have multiple dogs of different breeds) and I loved that the first step in their spa day, which is a bath...is in an area where you can watch through a glass wall. It's clear the salon is run well and I'm personally not going to skimp on care and skill to go up the street to a chain establishment to save a few dollars for my dogs...who are most definitely family members. If you are concerned about safety..competence as well as final result and you aren't looking for a cheap fix...this place is perfect. They aren't over priced..but they aren't Walmart either.
