If I could give 10 stars I would! Alex and her team are what groomers should strive to be. They truly take such great care of the dogs they are grooming. My 96lb lab gets "the works" here. We left our previous groomer who would always clip his quik which left my dog with some nervous feelings about getting his toes done. So he still shakes when he gets there but gets comfortable so quickly! The whole team is so gentle with him. read more

I have been going there for a few months. I told them not to trim my dogs ears or eyelashes. She has tiny ears so the hair makes them look normal. Her eye lashes are or were very long and looked cool. She got groomed twice and two baths. I notice her ears and eye lashes got cut. The only two things I asked to make sure do not get touched and she cut them both! Not cool at all. Be careful here they apparently do as they please. Her right eye lashes vs her trimmed no longer there right. read more

This business responded by my Google review with the most horrific series of lies that I am honesty terrified for anyone who brings their dog there. The owner is an aggressive liar who, judging by the other reviews here, should not be in business. I just picked up my dog from grooming and was told I had to pay $200. I was told I had to pay a $50 cancellation fee and that if I did not pay it then I could not return as a client. Not at any point in time did anyone tell me that I would have to pay this fee, neither when I canceled my appointment nor when I dropped her off today. I was told that it was in the agreement that I signed. I explained to the person at the front desk that as a small business owner of two businesses, I could not believe how horrible this customer service was. I explained that if it were me, not only would I come out and talk to the client as the business owner when giving such an abrupt warning, but I would also say that you can pay this at another time. Not only are they literally turning away a client and future business, but they are not giving someone the chance to pay at a later time when they provided absolutely no notice that they would have to pay this fee. I also wanted to double check the pricing for the groom, which is the highest I've ever paid for a groom. I was told that the prices are on the website. I asked if they're listed anywhere in the business. Nope. I checked the website and it was true, so I don't have a problem with that. It's just insane, because anywhere else you're paying $60 less. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! Not worth it. I had an amazing experience in the beginning when they took a look at my dog who recently suffered an injury and spent time talking to me about it. I thought I had a new groomer for a life, so I was even more shocked. But, if you're going to turn down a client with absolutely no alternative, then you're simply a terrible business owner. I don't support small businesses that are this disrespectful towards their clients. No communication, transparency or sense of business. read more

Would NOT recommend this establishment to any one. I have had dogs for fifty years and taken my pets to reputable groomers in this and other areas on a monthly basis. The quality of the grooming was nothing more than average but the prices...sky high! I have taken my dogs many times to a top groomer in Palm Beach, Florida, one of the most expensive areas of Florida. PrimePet Grooming was over $100 higher then what they ever charged. They have a system of charging for a base grooming and then inflate the price by up charging for services like cutting the hair between the pads of the paws that are routine tasks that are part of the base grooming fee for any other groomer I have ever been to. This groomer is exorbitantly overpriced. I would advise against going to them as their services are clearly a rip-off. read more

My husband and I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a new groomer for our 13 year old bichon/havanese dog. We decided to try PrimePet based on the reviews... I filled out the new client form a few weeks ago and made an appointment. When I walked in for my appointment... I got a really weird vibe... most groomers have a love for pets and that really comes through when they meet your fur baby but this wasn't the case... it was like my dog was just another number. Despite having indicated it on my new client form, I decided to remind them that my dog has epilepsy (he was born with this condition)... they told me that they don't take dogs with epilepsy, heart murmurs, or any type of medical condition. I've had my dog for 13 years and I've never encountered a groomer that won't take a dog due to these conditions.... most senior dogs have heart murmurs so this is very odd. I let them know I indicated this on my new client form to which they responded "yea, someone else reads those and must of missed it". I'm SO SO thankful I said something.... my dog is my child and I would never want to leave him with someone who doesn't know how to handle an emergency situation (even outside of a seizure) and who doesn't take the time to read through a dog's history. Great reminder to always trust your instincts and if you have a bad feeling... it's usually right. read more

Alex is such a wonderful, caring. Incredible gal. We were looking for someone who could come to our home and take care of our aging grand dog, Rosie, who had been through some pretty tough surgeries. Alex was the perfect choice! She treated Rosie like she was her own little girl. Always smiling, and always took whatever time it took to make Rosie feel special, and look beautiful. Rosie went to the Rainbow Bridge a few weeks ago, but we will be forever grateful that Alex was able to take care of her for the past year. If I could give her ten stars, I would.
