There's no way I could get her into my bathtub- I used to go to the dog wash Pet Supplies Plus and haverhill it's really good but the Tubs are not half as good as Wash n Wags! $18 you can spend as much time as you want in there beautiful bathtubs with your dog spending time with your dog washing your dog drying your dog using as many towels as you need customer service is great too. Our Great Pyrenees visited Wash n Wags today for her Spring grooming and I was nothing but impressed with the work they did on her coat. Price: A real value, and all inclusive (towels, soap, dryer), it cost more to wash my truck. Equipment/Environment: The tubs, shower heads are in like new condition. Always plenty of towels and always clean. There's a step at each tub to assist getting your dog into the tub. Staff: Very helpful and friendly and not overbearing. Location/Parking: Good, off street parking and close to the beaches. Hours: Convenient and if the groomer is there before posted hours she opens up. In House Grooming: I haven't used them to groom my dog but would after observing some dogs being groom. It's open to watch and she does a great job. These guys clearly like dogs and it shows, they're patience and don't rush you, answer all questions they can but you're able to get in and out quickly with a clean happy dog if you're in a hurry. read more

Josh is so friendly and goes out of his way to help in any way he can. All the while, staying socially distant. I have a very active Lab Retriever and the DIY baths are unbeatable for price and ease of use. The tubs are always clean, towels fresh and they always have a wide variety of good quality soap and conditioning products to suit all types of coats and skin - and it's all included in the price. As a life long dog owner, it's fantastic to walk in with a dirty dog and walk out with a clean happy dog....and leave the mess behind ! Lol I also have a Newfoundland and I use the grooming services at Wash n Wags for him. He's a bit of a shy guy until he warms up to you - but he instantly took to Crystal and so did I ! It's important for an owner to know their furry companion is being cared for and Crystal's obviously love for the dogs and her work is very obvious. After calling around all over the area to see if we could bring our dogs to get a flea bath, we finally got confirmation from the owner of Wash & Wags that we could bring our two golden retrievers here for a yourself bath. We walked in and were extremely impressed with the facility. They have oversize tubs the dogs can get right into without having to lift them up and over the edge and they're taller than normal tubs so you don't have to lean over and hurt your back while you're washing. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful as he showed my dad and I the recommended flea shampoo - this we had to purchase on our own, but it was probably cheaper than going to a pet supply store and buying it, so that was fine! FYI - EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED WITH THE SERVICE! You pay a flat rate of $15 to wash the dog, but they provide the shampoo, towels, combs/brushes and dryers! AND - you can stay as long as you want without having to clean up! They do that too! The dogs felt relaxed and were very cooperative as we bathed them multiple times (making sure we got rid of all those stupid fleas) and were rewarded for their good behavior with an organic dog treat that the store had as well! We finished up, blow dried their hair, and about to clean up when the owner said not to worry - that he would take care of it for us! Now - I know that we did a flea bath here, but not to worry! Once you have left the store, the owners "bomb" the entire place so there's no chance of other animals getting infested with fleas or anything else! I will definitely bring my dogs back here and I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know who has dogs as well. If you need professional grooming - they have a woman on staff who has been in the business for 23 years that can help! read more

I saw a coupon in the paper for free dog nail clippings at Wash and Wags. I usually groom my dogs at home and also do their nails, but I had just adopted a new pug and she wouldn't let me do her nails. I couldn't do them by myself, so we decided to go here and check them out. Gretchen (my pug) was a little scared when we first got there, but Chris sat down and let her come to him, so she would trust him. She did put up a little bit of a fight, but he was great with her. He seemed to know a lot about dogs and was very helpful and also very nice. Excellent customer service and very friendly. I will be going back again as soon as she needs her nails clipped again. read more

Both of my dogs have been going here for years now, and from BRIT, to CASSIE, to STEVE (the owner), himself- not only do my "kids" look GORGEOUS EVERY TIME I pick them up- but THEY ARE EVEN HAPPY TO WALK THROUGH THE DOOR when we get there!!! My pups have NEVER enjoyed going to the groomers before, like ever! Great place! For super-cheap, you use all their stuff (shampoo, conditioner, tubs, brushes, dryer, towels) and you wash your dog yourself. It would normally cost me close to $100 to take my large, long-haired dog to a groomer! The only other option was giving him a bath at my own house, where I was on my knees crouched over the bathtub, using a $10 bottle of dog shampoo... then he would shake hair all over my bathroom and leave my house a wet mess. For close to the price of a single bottle of dog shampoo, you can leave the mess at Wash n' Wags! Plus... it is a LIFE SAVER that their tubs are waist-height, so I can be eye-to-eye with my dog instead of crouched on the floor. An added bonus is using the industrial hair-dryer, which will blow so much hair off my dog... I won't find hair-tumbleweeds in my house for at least a month!! FANTASTIC! read more

I love this place, especially the groomer. She treats the dogs as if they were her own. She does an excellent job at grooming to your specifications. She gets to know your dog and treats you like family. She also cleans my dog's teeth so that will prevent higher vet fees. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. read more
