Great experience, my dogs were cared for and healthy. I will return…read more I came to Saddleback late April 2021 to board my 2 Brittanys for a week, referred from a friend. They used to go to my parents but I've accrued to many dogs for them to take them all! I appreciated that the owners also own a veterinary practice, training services, and live on property. The latter is very important to me. I found the pricing to be affordable. They were very friendly and accommodating overall. I made a few changes with no hassle. When I got there, they let me take a tour on demand to see how the kennels were (which I thought were nice). I was able to leave their special toys. I chose not to bring food as they provide it as well if you want. They also provide the bedding. All of the notes I provided via e-mail and verbally were obviously taken into account from feedback when I returned. My dogs were having some problems with each other the week prior and they were careful about keeping them in separate kennels and giving them supervised play time together. 3 people helped me check out and they were all very knowledgeable about the dogs individually which made me feel like they were cared for well. I returned early and called to alert them with an hour notice that I was coming to pick them up sooner. They quickly gave them their baths before I got there...which must've been quite a task to do 2. I feared my boys would have been unhappy because of separation anxiety and my past experiences with other dogs were that they'd come home thinner as a result (not a reflection on the caretakers, just the anxious dog). But they were definitely fed and had eaten their treat toys.

Arguably nicer than many human hotels. Now my dad brings his dog here regularly for grooming. It's been nearly two years and I still think about how awesome the Yellow Dog's Barn is. If I lived in the area I would be jealous of my dog if I sent him to doggie daycare here!

They offer short and long walking adventures that include trips to the beach, local rivers or lakes, hikes, and generally way more fun outdoor experiences than I offer my buddy. The staff is incredible. Colby and Racheal are our two primary walkers. They care for my guy, Burrito, like they care for their own dogs, who accompany them on all adventures. They also offer overnight care - we did this in late September for a weekend and were so thrilled with how it went! Totally reasonable in price, easy payments (they take Venmo!), and exceptional care. I trust them entirely and Burrito ADORES them!

Venmo advised me to contact the police because she did not provide the service we agreed on. I absolutely would not recommend this person to anyone, ever.

This is long overdue. Years ago my animals were patients of the Brentwood country animal hospital…read moreuntil we had moved to another location. I have nothing but the highest regard for Dr. Jody Kaufman and her wonderful staff. But there is one particular story that I would really like to call out that happened close to 20 years ago. We had a cat that had kidney problems and had spent a good amount of money on him which was not an issue that baby was worth every penny like they all are. However we also fell in love with another fluff ball from the SPCA. Long story short we brought Oreo in for his free check-up and to Jody the day after we adopted him. He was acting extremely out of the ordinary that entire night before didn't eat didn't use the litter box extra we didn't know if it was just because everything was overwhelming. It ended up at the visit that he had a blockage and required immediate surgery. Jody called the spca and they told her we could bring him back and we were crying. Jody hung up and looked at us and said don't worry I will do the surgery don't you worry about anything. It ended up the poor cat needed two surgeries which her and Dr Bassett from Exeter both did and they took care of everything without blinking an eye. True humanitarians and special people that truly love animals.

They arrived on schedule and spent plenty of time with my senior cat, conducting her annual exam, administering vaccinations, and drawing blood and other fluids for lab tests. You should be aware that by definition, many mobile vets do not operate a brick-and-mortar clinic. As such, I have maintained a relationship with my previous veterinary clinic in case any surgical procedures are required. Two Tree Veterinary shares my cat's information with them.
