This is what is put in your dog's knee for the ACL repair. My dog is doing much better now that it has been removed.

Dr Murta lied about the ACL repair procedure. He told me all sutures would dissolve after 6 months. I had the sutures removed (they were not dissolved) after 2.5 years. See the photos I added to see what actually gets put into your dog's knee.

This is our rescue baby. Saved from the kill list.

Dr. Jessica Cioffi went above and beyond to make the experience as comforting as possible. Her empathy, professionalism, and ability to guide me through such a difficult time quickly earned my trust. Because of her, I now bring my new dog to Bulger, and I couldn't be happier with that decision. The level of service here is truly outstanding. Dr. Flynn was also incredible--thorough, thoughtful, and clear with her suggestions, which gave me confidence in the care plan moving forward. Bulger has proven to be a place where both pets and owners are treated with the utmost respect and compassion. I will continue to bring my pets here and highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional veterinary care.

UNETHICAL REFUSAL TO HELP…read more I called their ER last night to confirm they were open. I found a wounded rabbit in my yard wanted to bring in, because in all likelihood it needed to be euthanized. When I lived in North Andover I would occasionally do this with wounded animals. They were always gracious. NOT ANYMORE! They refused to take the animal. How unethical. Their refusal basically said we don't care if the animal is suffering, or that you want to help the animal and are asking for help from veterinary professionals (?), but take it somewhere else. I am a physician and my sister is a veterinary surgeon. We have a profound respect for living beings and SHOULD NOT EVER REFUSE TO HELP A WOUNDED ANIMAL IN PAIN. How can you call yourselves a "veterinary emergency room" when you turn away animals?? Let me guess, the economics of it were not favorable. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

The husband oversees Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and shares the nutritional consults with his wife, Martha Lindsay, who also handles classical homeopathy, and behavior medicine. Through a modality called muscle testing, an off shoot of kineseology, in one hour Dr. Martha Lindsay and I learned that my dog has allergies to grain, dairy, nuts, pork, venison, soy, and white potatoes. In addition, we also learned that some of her dog food, treats, and vitamins disagreed with her. Bella's a dog, I know, but an ounce of prevention now could mean a pound of cure later. When you've lost a beloved and loyal companion to a mysterious illness that baffled some of the top vets on the east coast, to prevent that from happening again, you'll take every precaution possible. In just 24 hours after the appointment my pup stopped chasing her tail and biting at herself as if there were a small festivity of fleas living la vida loca. The appointment is expensive, $225 for the hour, but in the long and short run, worth it. You won't get a diagnosis right away. Dr Lindsay will consider EVERY aspect of your conversation, her notes, your intake form, ponder it, call you the following day and the day after that to ask more questions, gathering more information, and then come up with a diagnosis. She is thorough, personable, and K-9 friendly. Her clinic is spotless, has good clean energy throughout, and the exam room is really dog friendly with tennis balls and stuffed toys. My dog was so relaxed in her office, she took a nap. The nutritional supplements prescribed are human grade, bioavailable, and effective, as I have taken some of Standard Process' nutrional supplements myself. They are not a full service veterinary office, so you'll have to seek allopathic care elsewhere. This is where you go before or after your dog has a a reaction to a vaccine, her food, environment, you, etc... The 40 minute drive was well worht the results we have seen in just 24 hours.

My pet insurance will only reimburse for this kind of therapy if a vet does the treatment, which is totally ridiculous. There was another water therapy place that I could have chosen where it was under a vet, but I chose Good Dog (and pay out of pocket) because of the proximity to where I live, but mostly because of my initial conversation with Mary. She is SO calm and just, wonderful. Beanie has been swimming for over a year and she also gets cold laser treatments on her knees and does targeted physical therapy exercises. Her legs are so much stronger when she has her regular therapy at Good Dog and I am confident that she will continue to do really well. Beanie recently had an incident where her knee popped out, had to take her to the vet to get it back in and was told that surgery would be the best option. Beanie is 9, a totalyl crazy Yorkie and luxating patella surgery is NOT an option for this dog. Of course, I called Mary freaking out and Luis called me back and immediately calmed me down and said bring her to her apt. and he would figure out the best course of action for her, which he did and she is almost back to where she was before her incident with her leg. Since Covid, I can't go in with Beanie, but Mary takes pictures and videos of her and sends them to me, which of course, I send to all my friends and family, whether they want to see them or not! Beanie actually does better without me around. LOL. I do miss being able to chat with Luis and Mary while Beanie does her "thing" and I am hoping that 2021 will bring a resumption to normalcy at some point!! Anyone thinking of water therapy for their dog, do not hesitate to go to Good Dog Aquatics!!!
