I have ordered from BBBC twice now through my job. Both times, we waited until the last minute to order and both times BBBC was eager to help us. There is a charge for last minute ordering (they profusely apologize for charging you too, even though its your fault) but it's not very much. There is a small charge if you want them to design your button, but they keep those designs forever so you can reuse them easily with no additional charge in the future. The buttons are inexpensive-- we've gotten the 3" buttons and they are a nice size and good quality. I can't remember the name of the girl who I've worked with (she's really cute, has red hair, bubbly personality) but she is SO friendly and always asks about my organization every time we talk. My faith in customer service--and just good, decent people in general--is restored due to this awesome place! Needed a custom button done same day (if possible, wasn't expecting a miracle since I procrastinated). Did a Google search and found Busy Beaver. Contacted them and talked with a lovely lad named Ben B. I inquired about just buying the mechanism to make a button, since I didn't think they would waste their busy time on just one. Ben stated that since they didn't just sell the button pieces separately to send in my design and they could make one for me and it could be done before they closed. Went to pick it up. Every person I interacted with was pleasant and so welcoming. Business is definitely booming for them as everyone was working on something. I keep thinking about investing in my own button machine, but they do such a great job, and are so helpful, why would I bother?! The product is first class and so is the service. What I really love about the crew over there is how well they communicate. I hosted my Mom's 60th birthday party at the Busy Beaver Button Museum (located within the Busy Beaver Button Company) this past weekend and I can't say enough good things about them! Location was perfect for our small party of 10 people. They had a kitchen and fridge space we used and they even set up tables and chairs for us. Joel and the other staff members were extremely helpful and gave a great explanation of all of the interesting buttons they have on display. Being able to make our own buttons was an awesome perk and a great take-away for the birthday guest of honor.
