I decided to try this place out at least twice before leaving a yelp review. The first time I came was the very first day they opened. I went through their drive through. The chicken was actually good. I got chicken tenders and fries. The gravy was made almost to perfection. However, the fries were a bit salty for my liking. This place almost reminds me of Golden Chick of you have ever been to one of them. The service was excellent even though it did seem a bit disorganized. But it was their first day after all. So, that made me decide to try it again. Today. But this time I decided to go inside and dine inside this place. Again, great service as it was last time I came. However, I chose NOT to order the fries as my side. I got okra which was a better choice. My root beer was flat. I did have to go back and have them exchange it. They didn't fill the cup up all the way which I felt was odd because I had only taken a small sip of the root beer to only find out that it was flat. But my real complaint about dinning inside is that it was hot inside the building. It's almost as if they decided to not have the air on or any sort of circulation of any kind. I was sweating up storm. I did notice others sweating too. A note to the management team, please turn on the air or have any kind of circulation in the dining area. Even If It's cold outside, there still needs to be air circulation. It felt so stuffy in there. read more

Finding this one on our visit to Victoria, we ate inside and got prompt service and OMG, some of the tastiest fried chicken I have ever had. Recommended by my student, I decided to try it. I ordered the chicken tenders and French fries with sweet tea. The tenders were breaded perfectly, chicken was tender and fully cooked, delicious!! The fries were good. The roll/bread was the best I've had in years!!! I'll be going by here often anytime I'm craving some fried chicken!! And the tea was perfect!!! The country gravy was a little thick but I prefer that instead of it being runny. I'll be back!! read more

Love, love, love everything about this fast food restaurant. The food is ALWAYS fresh, the drive through is ALWAYS fast, and the kids working there are so super sweet!! I went through the drive through and placed a large order. I realized when I got to Edna that I was given the wrong order. Called Bush's and a woman said to come back and get a discounted order on the next visit. Next visit the manager said he had no written record of the call and couldn't give a discount. This is not how you run a business in a small town and I hope this review is constructive for them. read more

Love this place. Fast friendly service. Menu in full view to see. They have coupons in the newspaper and the Victoria connection magazine. The chicken isn't over seasoned it's just right BC if you wanted to add a condiment it wouldn't over power the flavor and if you just wanted the chicken it's great as is. The chicken is super juicy. They have little spicy packets of seasonings goodness, just ask for them, trust me, worth it. Gallons of tea for sale and they are cheap, just get the half sweet half unsweetened. The rolls are huge, fresh and always warm and fluffy. I've tried the mixed chicken, okra, French fries, mashed potatoes, gravy, chicken tenders, sweet tea, half and half tea, corn nuggets, rolls and my only complaint would have to be that the sweet tea is a little too sweet for my taste thus the reason I recommend getting the half and half tea. They've got great prices as well so there's no reason not to try this new chicken place :) read more

Very fast drive thru, and they are always so nice. We get Bush's at least once a week mainly on Tuesdays for the chicken strip meal deal they have every Tuesday. The food is amazing, and they have the best sweet tea I have ever had. read more

Visited Bush's Fried Chicken for lunch on 1/5/17. It was a bit chaotic as customers were milling about. Some were waiting to place their order, while some were waiting for their order. We were finally approached my a young lady and proceeded to take out order on a post it note. When we got to the cashier....she asked what our order was. We repeated what I ordered and she disappeared right when the first girl appeared with our original order. We paid and was on our way to sit down when the girl behind the cashier gave us our food. We were all very confused. Luckily, we straightened it out. I found the food to be very underwhelming. The chicken, while crunchy, had no flavor whatsoever. The fries were typical of the frozen variation. They might want to add seasoning prior to serving them. The highlight was the tea. For a place that highlights chicken, that cannot be a good sign. I will try them again, hopefully the food won't be so....meh, next time. read more
