While it's not my favorite place to go for chicken, they still have the BEST SWEET TEA around. You can buy them by the cup or gallons. I love their WHITE GRAVY the best! A delicious roll, best fries around and a cup of refillable sweet tea.......I'm set for my day! I've learned to half and half my tea with Sweet and unsweetened. I have been through the drive through previously. My wife wanted to eat inside. It was a Sunday and no one else was inside. Service was extremely slow. It took over 15 minutes or more to get our meal. The chicken while hot was extremely greasy. They got part of the drinks wrong. There is adequate staff but a very poorly run restaurant. We had to wait for chicken which isn't always a bad thing. However, the lobby needs to be cleaned. We sat next to windows and sills are full of dead flies. it's been an awhile since someone wiped them down and cleaned them. Restrooms are not cleaned regularly. read more

Y'all! Customer service is top-tier. The boy that took my order was so sweet and I got my food super fast. As I'm pulling off I look over and he is chasing after me like a Chick-fil-A worker! It took me by surprise, but he wanted to make sure I got my jalapeño that I asked for. It is so hot outside so the fact that he was willing to chase after me to make sure I got it meant a lot! Bush's is hands down the best American fast food joint in the Copperas Cove/Killeen/Ft Hood and greater area. Their spicy seasoning is awesome, and the way that they bread the chicken tastes awesome. Much better than any other chicken-serving fast food in the city. It's almost hard to call this place fast food considering the kind of service that they offer is top of the class. No intercoms at the drive-thru; someone will actually walk to your car, like they used to "back in the day". I really like how they have these sort of ethics in a digital and less communicative world. That said, they serve awesome fried chicken. I also enjoy the fried livers and okra. read more

The chicken was tender yet very bland, the gravy was just as bland. The macaroni and cheese was creamy but flavorless and caused tummy upsets all around. The fries, just not good. The coleslaw however, was pretty good, as were the rolls. The service was the most disappointing part. The young lady was quick but also very rude. Great place to pick up some good chicken tenders. Be sure to get the gravy and some serendipity packets( I prefer the spicy). Mix the packets up with the gravy and you are in for some good eating read more

We try not to eat out to much but this place has some great flavor on there tinder's and the rolls are delicious and warm even if you get to go I would also like to add that their T is absolutely delicious they have sweet tea and and sweet tea and I don't know about some people but I love the ice they use its the small cubes somehow just makes it taste better read more

Watch out for the drive thru! I drove through one day during happy hour and was told cokes aren't half price so I went inside another day to get a coke and it was half price. I told the cashier what had happened but he didn't act too concerned. read more

Amazing, ordered the #1 chicken strips with gravy and side of fries. The food is cheap and the quality of the chicken is amazing its so juicy I couldn't believe it. The gravy was also very flavorful and I put hot sauce in it to make it even better. The fries were what I expected and I ordered a Sweet Tea which was also phenomenal. The place isn't fancy but the bang for your buck is def worth the food. read more

In case you thought your ass wasn't fat enough, there are now 42589 locations of Bush's Chicken in the Central Texas area to help you load up of greasy, fattening foods. I gave them three stars because they are the only place in town to get good fried okra. I'm also a huge fan of inflatable animals in front of businesses. I especially liked the giant chicken ready to take my order for pieces of himself. It wasn't creepy at all. I guess the cows were already taken. read more

I order to go, and it seems they have lots of employees about 10 of them. I like that so it won't be so hard for them. So I ordered 3PS chicken, fried okra,and gravy I paid about $7.50 the chicken is pretty good but they forgot my bread that comes with the chicken. It no big deal. My wife and I went to Bush's Chicken for the first time while visiting Copperas Cove. It will be our last time! First, we like chicken and have never had a complaint about any of the other chicken restaurants or even deli chicken. Bush's chicken was very bland, no seasoning at all. Maybe the young crew forgot? The mashed potatoes & gravy, mac & cheese also bland with no flavor. The roll was hard! Terrible first experience.
