I wanted to re-route items for wash/fold to hand wash; they helped re-route the items but didn't tell me how much it would cost me until they accepted them and washed them, so I paid over $100 (in addition to what I was paying for the wash/fold items, also over $100) for 25 times to me washed and hung to dry. Not worth it. I scheduled a pick-up, completely unaware that my subscription was still paused, so I was charged full price as if I didn't have a subscription. It was PAUSED, not cancelled. So why no pop-up message on the app asking if I want to un-pause? Why doesn't the membership automatically un-pause when someone with a paused membership schedules a pick-up? Why is there no confirmation page before the pick-up is scheduled to confirm with customers what their estimated cost would be for what they're about to schedule? These all seem like common sense solutions to this issue, none are in use. For someone who just has a slumlord property manager and laundry machines that are constantly going out of service, it's incredibly frustrating to have to pay this much - $100s of dollars and my sanity - to do laundry. I cancelled my membership and will give Rinse some time to see if they catch up with reality and the state of the economy - because if I'm paying over $100 a month for laundry service, I'd think I'd at least get all my socks back!
