This is pretty much the only pharmacy that my husband can get one of his meds from so we've been here a few times and they also mail to him. Except for this last month, when 2 of his meds weren't mailed out correctly, they have been consistent and shown up on time and packaged very well. The time 2 things were missed he was able to call them and they held the meds while we drove there to pick them up in person. The pharmacy has a small gift shop with some very cute gifts, and the staff has always been nice to us. We've always gone in on the weekend (very limited hours though so check before you go) and we've never had to wait in line. Not busy at all so that's a plus for us too. I'd recommend them. read more

I try to support local as much as possible, but it has been a real challenge doing so with this pharmacy. We had an issue with them not being able to order several meds in the past, after telling us they could, only to never call us to say they couldn't order it. We sat for days thinking it was on its way when it wasn't. The last straw was a recent visit when the customer service woman with short dyed reddish purple hair and arm tattoos (nothing wrong with that, just for ID purposes since I couldn't get her name) She was so incredibly rude and unprofessional that it turned me off from ever coming back. I got a text that my RX was ready and when I came 2 days later, she said there was nothing for me. She was short and obviously irritated and said "I don't know who sent you that text but it wasn't us" I showed her the text from Burt's Moorpark and she rolled her eyes and said "well there's nothing here. It turned out to be a mixup from my doctor's office but she made me so feel embarrassed and unwelcomed that I'm never coming back. Giving 2 stars for Kimmy the pharmacist who is professional and prompt but didn't say anything when the other lady was so incredibly rude. I'm bummed but have enough stress in my life without being treated like crap when I go pick up my meds. read more

This pharmacy is a joke and extremely unreliable and unprofessional. It takes almost 2 weeks for them to fill a prescription because they are so "backed up." I hear the same thing every month. Clearly they don't value people's health or make them a priority. Their customer service is lacking. I suggest taking your business elsewhere unless you like being treated like trash. read more

Wouldn't fill my prescription because my doctor was over 30 miles away that called it in. what an absolute joke.

Cute pharmacy with lots of adorable gifts to peruse while waiting (this isn't always a plus tho cos there are some super cute gifts in there!) But most importantly, this Burts is attached to one of my family's preferred urgent cares/fam doc. So,Dr. Nyat Voh is the reason we drive there from West Simi Valley to Moorpark Comprehensive Urgent Care but now, Burts has reopened a new attached-pharmacy so once again, our family can see doc & get meds all in one stop! In addition, this pharmacy is thorough as well as very friendly. As a small neighborhood pharmacy these guys are on top of their game never had a problem with them yet if you need a lot of non pharmacy items go to a larger store..but if you just need your medicine Burts is the best bar none read more

I can't begin to give enough positive feedback on Burt's. The most friendly, warm and professional staff. They work hard to get the best prices if something is not covered by your insurance. They typically fill our prescriptions while we wait, in under 15 minutes. The staff always treat patients with such kindness and are able to guide and educate. Highly recommend!! read more

After having to deal with the In's and Out's of CVS I was so happy that this Privately owned Burt's Pharmacy popped up in the same building right outside my Dr. Office! Going there once and I've never wanted to go anywhere else! Every single staff member is courteous and do everything within their power to help you and in such a timely manner! This pharmacy is the best!!! We just moved my grandmother's medication from CVS to Burt's, and it was the best decision. They are very helpful, hassle free, and setting up automatic refills and delivery was a breeze! If you have an issue they fix it right then and there! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!! Today, working with my boss, I heard the conversation with the pharmacist Travis who went above and beyond to ensure that my boss got his medication. He spent extra time assuring that the prescription was filled and also took the extra time to send the doctor more information to update the script. My boss was frustrated calling the company the prescription was referred to and couldn't get through. He gave Travis a call and everything was fixed. The customer service and care was impeccable.
