They couldn't get the medication needed for cancer treatments but never called - when I called to see if it was ready they said it was too far away to get. Came to get sea bands for my children and distilled water for the hubby. The woman at the register was able to direct me to the right place (and even told my it was likely at ankle height). She also said the woman in the next aisle could help and walk me over there if I had any difficulty. Turns out, the woman in the next aisle was the manager and she followed me over to make sure I could easily find what I was looking for! The staff at the pharmacy deserves 10 Stars for their willingness to help. Jamie the Pharmacy technician and Nicole the Pharmacist just spent about one hour helping solve a prescription billing issue for a critical prescription. They went far above normal to get this issue solved. Their effort and caring attitude shows everything a business should do but often does not. Just FYI, the guy filling out prescriptions (their Pharmacist) does so with no mask, no gloves, no apparent protection whatsoever. The kid ringing you up at the Pharmacy counter is wearing a mask. The full grown professional behind him, likely making several times as his coworkers... seems content to take his pay and not give a darn about potentially spreading Covid. It's one thing to walk about town or shop with no mask. Another to be the person trusted to fill prescriptions for folks who may be in a high risk group to begin with and then just stack up some more risk on top of that. read more

The WORST pharmacy in Moorpark. Had to go back and forth with them 3 times to get a glucose testing machine prescription correct for my Mom. They, finally, after the 3rd time, took the time to explain what they were looking for in the prescription. THREE times, how about taking the time to explain what is needed the first time or maybe the second time? Every time we go there their customer service is atrocious. Just switched here since the Target pharmacy is always so crowded. I like it better here. There is barely ever a line when I'm here. The folks here have been patient with me when I brought the wrong rx plan card and had to call my wife and such so I can't confirm the comments about any rudeness. I don't need pharmacists to be extremely nice or courteous, as long as the process is efficient. Give my meds and lets all get on with our days. And that's what I get here. In that sense, being here is way better than dealing with the line at Target's pharmacy. I would recommend to anyone who needs a cvs pharmacy in mpk. read more

Typical CVS store, easy to find next to Ralphs. Store has a clean, modern look and the place has a good variety of products including pantry items, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, candy, a small toy section, drugs and healthcare items, frozen foods, snacks, drinks, alcohol etc. Staff was very nice and helpful even when I told them I was having trouble finding a Rite Aid brand product and they pointed out that I was in a CVS. :P read more

Without a doubt the worse pharmacy experience I have ever had. The the young pharmacist was trying, it was his first day working at that location, but the incompetence that was prevalent with the rest of the workers, and his inability to manage resulted in almost a chaotic situation. I had to wait in a long line to submit my prescriptions and then I went to my car and waited for over an hour and a half. I was notified over the phone that the prescriptions would need more time, and then finally notified that the prescriptions will ready at a certain time only to find myself back having to wait in a long line and then ending up with only 10% of the. prescriptions filled. Today I'm going to call my doctor and try to have the remaining prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy. read more

I hate to give a bad review because I'm a long time customer and really like some staff, including manager Kim at this store. But some of the workers there in the last year have been just plain nasty. The evening workers - Both times male. I understand that they probably deal with all kinds of customers, but when you are truly trying to being polite and nice (I even went to self service because the guy seemed busy and I didn't want to bother him), and they treat you like an idiot and a bother when you do have to ask for help, snap at you, make snarky comments, and just act disgruntled and act just unhappy to be there...well, I'd rather shop somewhere else. Why do people like that work in customer service? I can see when there's a bad customer, but why act rude from the get go to nice ones? I chose CVS tonight because I had coupons. After this incident (I walked out with no purchase), I went back over to Walgreens where I have been shopping lately and wow, what a different experience. I've never had issues with Walgreens in the past, so I'm sticking with them for now on. Note-i noticed a help wanted sign at CVS. Terrible experience here and horrible customer service in the pharmacy. I called them today regarding a prescription and got put on hold for 15 minutes and they never came back so I went in to the store. When I got there it was virtually empty with an exception of two or three customers. Once I got to speak to someone they weren't of much help. I even asked them why no one answered the phone and she thought it was funny and basically blew it off with no response. This type of bing is a regular occurrence at the Moorpark CVS and I would recommend to avoid it if you can. read more

I asked her to call my doctor for a new prescription since I had a bad side effect and needed to change the medication on the day. I explained her that the doctor's office doesn't use Internet so please call him. She said she will, and I have been waiting for the confirmation. However, I heard the doctor NEVER received her phone call. Jeanie should NOT work for the pharmacy department as she doesn't understand the risk of skipping medications. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Customer service is very very poor. I have had multiple prescriptions filled there and have had problems every single time. I always have to go back. Pharmacy techs are rude and they don't care one iota about customer service. Today I ran out of my prescription that is supposed to be an automatic refill so I had to call them and they tell me they can't refill until next week because they screwed up. I am going to use Costco in Simi Valley from now on. read more

I would give them a one minus mainly because they don't seem to communicate very well with my Dr. In fact, I have been waiting since February for a prescription to be filled. Horrible customer service in the general store & also in the pharmacy! Prescriptions are never ready on time & when one calls for status, the pharmacy personnel will either pick up the phone just to re-place the call on hold or simply not answer. Today, I urgently needed to get through to the pharmacy. After being on hold for almost an hour, I called back & selected the general store option. Justin answered, I explained my urgency & previous hold time. He didn't seem to care. He transferred me to pharmacy where I was again placed on hold. After another 15 minute hold, I hung up & called the general store back, again Justin answered. To my surprise, once I explained again my reason for my call, he hung up. I am very disappointed. I will definitely be changing my pharmacy. I encourage current CVS pharmacy customers to do the same. read more

Worst pharmacy. Before I took my prescription in I called them to make sure they had what I needed in stock, they refused to give me that info and They said they couldn't give me any info over the phone. I had already gone to another pharmacy and they were out of stock and I didn't wana waste my time driving from one place to another trying to find out who had it. Also I just had a dental procedure and I was a pain, after being at the dentist for over 3 hours I just wanted to get my meds and head home because I also had my newborn baby waiting for me. I was irritated with them over the phone told them they better have it in stock or I'm gona be pissed. Well I showed up & they ran my insurance and then to tell me that they are out. Very unprofessional, I work for a Dr and when I've called or had patients call around to see who has it in stock they weren't given a hard time. This is why I avoid coming here at all, I don't mind driving to the cvs in Westlake because the pharmacist and staff there are amazing. Unfortunately with my new baby at home I couldn't make that drive but next time I will. read more

Wow. I returned an item I purchased at another CVS in another county.. Where the tax is higher. When the cashier handed me my return receipt and change, I realized she only gave me the tax for Ventura County. It was a significant difference. I pointed this out to her and she just shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing she could do. WTH?! I've returned items at other stores and they just adjust the tax and give me the difference. She seemed annoyed that I pointed it out and when I asked for a manager, she said she was on lunch. I said forget it and left. Goodbye, CVS. I'll do ALL my business at Target from now on. read more

The staff is wonderful and very helpful. My only problem was the on hold time I had to do when I called to see if my prescription was ready. I sat on hold for over 5 minutes and had to go to town anyway so i thought I would drop by to see if it was done. I live 8 miles away so I drove in, stood behind 2 other people, got to the counter, after they got the prescription and i paid for it I looked at my phone and said "wow that is incredible" The girl asked "what's incredible?" I told her what I had done and that I had stayed on hold for more than 20 minutes with no answer. I even held the phone up to her ear so she could hear the on hold music. The store is clean and well stocked and the employees up front are very friendly. I docked one star because I order prints online and it's an hour and a half AFTER the scheduled pick up time and I've been waiting at the store for 30 minutes of it. It's only one picture, but it's behind all the other orders so I'm waiting. The second lost star is because while waiting around an off shift employee was doing her shopping and I watched her take all the change out of the "take a penny leave a penny" cup to pay for part of her purchase. The employees just laughed about it together. Seemed a little unprofessional to do in front of other patrons. Overall they are all very nice though **edit: i would think twice about using the pharmacy here. I spent over 30 minutes just waiting for them to try and get my insurance to work. Never did. The worst pharmacy ever. The level of incompetence is absolutely amazing. Customer service is not a priority and they literally treat you like you're an idiot. They will not prescribe an antibiotic that you've had before without the pharmacist present who takes a two hour lunch. Then when the pharmacist is present she asks have you had this before you say yes and that's it. Again, go anywhere else. CVS is just another corporate conglomerate in it for money.
