What stood out most, though, was our waitress. There seemed to be plenty of people in the back -- we counted at least seven employees -- but she appeared to be the only one actively handling the restaurant. She took our order, bussed tables, worked the register, and even made our pizzas herself. She was incredibly friendly, efficient, and made sure everything in our order was perfect. She even helped us apply an online deal in the restaurant, which we really appreciated. We never caught her name, but she had just bought tickets to see Shinedown and was so excited about it, which made the interaction even more memorable. Overall, the food and service were both very good thanks to her hard work. The only downside was the uncomfortable temperature inside and the off-putting crowded back area, which came across more like off-the-clock staff hanging out than employees actively working because no one was in uniform.
