It's really small inside there's only one small room with tables but they have outdoor seating too. It's right next to the pickleball courts so we stopped by for dinner after playing. The workers were friendly, you just order at the counter and throw your plate away when you're finished. Also very reasonably priced. I'd definitely go back!

Woman at the counter refused service to my veteran husband due to having his service dog present…read more She broke the law several times by asking for identification, what my husband's disability was and told us we could only have her outside. She was extremely rude and argumentative. It would benefit the establishment to have their employees know the law before arguing with a customer. Can't rate the food because employees refused to follow the law.

Our large group was able to find a spot EASILY on a friday night. It turns into a PARTY after 10, many of them being bachelorettes. I loved the vibe in here & always with the amazing staff! We had a bigger group and got a mix of pizza, chips and salsa/guacamole, tacos, burritos, and chicken bowls. Overall the food tasted good, well spiced and balanced. The bartenders were helpful and mostly friendly. We have been coming to this location for years and feel like it is becoming rundown. A few things we noticed: -limes and lemons at the outdoor bar were brown and either had been out for days or the heat was making them go bad -the bathrooms smell like puke/other potty smells and the floor is consistently sticky everywhere -we all had belly aches after we ate, with some people having more issues than others -we sat at the composite picnic tables and they almost burned our skin Overall this is a fun place to stop for drinks and entertainment, but be warned about food quality and potential other sanitary concerns. This place could overall use a good thorough clean and benefit from more umbrellas to shade the composite tables to avoid burning skin.

Unfortunately, this wasn't the best first experience we were hoping for. The food was…read moredisappointing--it tasted like it had been reheated rather than made fresh, and the quality didn't justify the prices. Service was also lacking. The atmosphere didn't make up for it either. The space felt dark, dated, and sticky, which made it less inviting than we'd hoped. Overall, we left feeling that the experience didn't match the cost. I hope some improvements are made, as this place has the potential to offer a much better dining experience. It is well-known in the area but didn't live up to its reputation.

Spencer the waiter was rude and clueless. I'm not sure if he's new or just that dumb. When asked about the appetizer he responded, "They are different colors, figure it out." The place hasn't changed much at all since I was last here. Still the classic log cabin setup with high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and various animal mounts. You really get the up-north feels here. Service is friendly and the place had a classic supper club vibe to it. The whole table almost ordered the pan fried walleye meal but my son decided he wanted to try the lobster bisque. Walleye was great, a nice piece of fish perfectly cooked. It wasn't a Shore Lunch camp dinner event but it was pretty good without making a fishing trip. My son's lobster bisque was really good, lots of meat and very rich. All in all, we had a good time at the lodge. I'm glad we went back to give them another visit. Fun place to visit, especially if you are a tourist or out of towner and you want an up-north ambiance meal. For the locals, this place still is a great place for a nice lunch/dinner.
