We waved as we walked in to a waiter, pointed to a seemingly available picnic table, and he waved that we were good to go, so we sat right away, at 7:45p...after that more tables opened up. Drinks: 1. Pina colada - no bueno...like a coconut ice, not pina colada. 2. Passion fruit juice with fresh mint - delicious! 3. Cherry juice drink with alcohol - wife liked it, and I thought it was good. Appetizers: 1. Beef empanadas- I thought the crust overpowered the meat and onion, but daughter and wife loved it. 2. Nachos - terrible. Chips were stale and cheese/beans covering was bare, but then they gave us additional refried beans in a little cup, and straight I thought the refried beans were delicious. 3. Baha fish tacos - phenomenal!!! Entrees: 1 Chicken fajitas: disappointing. The spicing was off, on the chicken, and the guacamole was mostly sour cream. 2. Steak fajitas: very good and way better than the chicken Service was quick and the staff knew their stuff, but it took a long time to get the bill because other tables came in.

We were craving some street style tacos and saw the great reviews from my fellow yelpers! We enjoyed the shredded tinga tacos and the carne asada. I preferred the carne asada over the shredded tinga tacos. The queso was pretty good but probably would have been worth it to add the chorizo for a little extra flavor. The chips were a little thicker than I prefer, but definitely hand made in the restaurant. The service was great, all of the employees were so nice and we got our drinks and food quickly! Seating is indoor and outdoor. This restaurant would be good for larger groups as they have some larger tables. We will be back! There was plenty of street parking, but no dedicated parking lot.

Prices are all very reasonable. Most tacos are around $15 for three and come with a generous portion of rice and beans. The michelada was good and the chips and salsa were a phenomenal app for only $2. They gave three types of salsa, all were excellent but my favorite was the salsa verde. Portion was very generous - it could have been half the size and I would still say it was a good value. Tacos were filling and warm. The rice was a little bland I thought, but was a nice accompaniment nonetheless. The corn tortillas fell apart a bit but the filling was sooo delicious that I ended up just eating it separately. The place itself is really cool on the inside with a lot of interesting art. I wish they had wifi so I could have sat and hung out for a bit! Would definitely go back.

The frozen watermelon margarita was also a standout and paired perfectly with the meal. It wasn't overly sweet. Great food, great atmosphere and great value, at least on Tuesday's haha... Now straight to the food... The Chicharrones Tacos are lacking it's a lemony, watery sauce, if I may it needs a Thicker saucy seasoned sauce base. They were bland. Now that the bad is over I must give a Standing ovation on The Tacos de Barbacoa! If there is one taco that is 20/10 it's the Barbacoa perfectly tender and well seasoned. (Daba gusto esos tacos de barbacoa) The Tacos de Fajita 10/10 muy buenos ! Very good Now whatever it is you do get to order you must accompany it with a side of rice and beans! Estos muchachos hacen un arroz muy rico y los frijoles refritos bien sabrosos ! Now the Aguas Frescas (Natural Drinks) Prueben el Tamarindo 20/10 (ni muy dulce ni muy amargo) Not too sweet not too tangy just PERFECT! They also had pineapple, horchata, Jamaica and others. Would I go back ABSOLUTELY! I just humbly wish they can better in the chicharrones and the tripas Service which is also a great experience, welcoming, kind, respectful.
