Once again, Callejeros knocked it out of the park. I saw on their social media they offering $2 tacos de carnitas at this location. Lately, Callejeros has been offering several several taco and happy hours specials at their different locations. In addition to the tacos, we also ordered guac and chips, queso fundido, elote, quesadilla de asada, and burrito de alambre.... And naturally, margaritas. Neither disappointed. Callejeros keeps flgrowing. They now have 6 locations with more on the way. As long as they keep up the quality, I'll be there. read more

The tacos de carnitas are the best. They come with crumbled pieces of crispy chicharrón over them. So good. The meat was moist and tender and full of flavor. Last time I came here the queso fundido disappointed me, but not this time. I loved it. I recommend the margarita de parcha. It's very good. read more

We ordered three sets of tacos: carnitas, carne asada and pescado (pulled pork, steak and fish. Photo shows in that order). The tacos were made very full, loaded with the food which was nice. The carnita tacos were amazing! Would order them again in a heartbeat. The carne asada were just okay, not a lot of flavor. Really solid steak burrito from Callejeros; I got takeout and the food was excellent. The steak was smoky and I also enjoyed the toppings. Overall value isn't the best; the burrito was still expensive comparatively. With that said, I would definitely go back here. read more

The burrito and tacos are delicious! Make sure you try the carnitas because they are deliciously flavored. The guacamole and chips are also worth your while. Food Amazing. Great taste on the cochinita tacos and garnachos. The nachos turned soggy fairly fast but it waa good nonetheless. The sauce was just the right amount of spicy and gave the cochinita meat a great flavor. I tried not to abuse it too much though. I don't like onions but decided to give it a try and ended up liking them. Locale Parking was terrible. I entered a parking a lot which i thought was to the place and turns out it was for their neighbors. They have about 4 spots for cars out front and the street where the place is located feels like driving on the moon. Full of craters. Not their fault but brace for that when going here. Employees Very proffesional and efficient waitresses. You are welcomed and just take a seat. They rapidly come over to take your order. I ordered to go and food did not take long. The menu is a piece of paper on a clipboard that the waittress lends you and which did not look appealing at all. Overall great experience. I was so disappointed with my Uber Eats order from Callejeros especially since my first time here was actually really good (which is why I decided to give them 3 stars). My first visit to Callejeros was in person for lunch. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos which were on point and Horchata. The meal was great and the red salsa was really good. I decided to order Callejeros through Uber Eats and went with the Al Pastor Burrito. Based on the description the burrito came with beans, al pastor meat, avocado, sour cream, and Mexican cheese. Instead I received a burrito with beans, al pastor meat, a pieces of avocado, and cheddar cheese. The burrito was extremely salty and the melted cheddar cheese was very overpowering in the burrito. I also asked for two sides of the red salsa which I did not receive. I will likely visit Callejeros in person again for the tacos, but never via Uber Eats again. Also, there is a difference between cheddar cheese and Mexican cheese, which should not be substituted without at least letting the customer know. I really hope I can have another visit like my first at Callejeros. read more

This is authentic Mexican at reasonable prices. The tacos come in three's and are as good as any we've had. The tacos el pastor are amazing. The combination of the pineapple braise with the crusty contrast is perfect. Tortillas are hand made corn. Guacamole appetizer was perfect. If you want authentic Mexican in a clean atmosphere, this is the place. The only complaint would be the A/C didn't appear to be working as it should. Temperature inside was too high. read more

I must say being a Mexican who just moved to PR from California, it's difficult to find authentic tasting Mexican food. I looked online for Mexican place who sells tacos in PR and was discouraged because tacos here MOSTLY are made with flour tortillas, to me that's not authentic. Corn tortillas for tacos and flour for burritos-remember corn has a long Aztec history in Mexico. But that's NOT the case HERE..., they have tacos made with CORN tortillas, the flavor is great, served with lime and spicy salsa. And Aguas frescas and jaritos. They taste great. Service was fast and a great environment. I had the carintas tacos (with crumbled chicarones on top) they were really good!! Will definitely be coming back especially when I'm feeling homesick and need a good Mexican taco. read more

I have been at this place twice last week. The first time I ordered tacos de cochinita and tacos al pastor. They had a beautiful presentation and full of meat. I gave it 5 *. Next time was way down. This time I ordered tacos a la canasta which are 4 tacos : frijoles. papas con chorizo, chicarron and cochinita. First or all the plantilla was oily and broken on the bottom, so every time I picked up a taco the content was all over my hands. The filling was scanty and the chicharron was rubbery and not crispy as the word says. The best one was the potatoes with chorizo. Hot sauces tastes pretty hot. I was the first client of the day and my food came out 25 minutes later after 4 other tables had the food served. The waitress was sort of disorganized and did not know about the menu at all. The place is an outdoor lot at the back of a mechanic workshop. Parking lot is limited. Even though taste was good the wait was too long for a "pre-cooked" food truck like meal. read more

Food truck enclosed with a gate and a separate bar. Juicy, fresh tacos with great variety; there was no beers when I stopped by but the 4$ juice waters were surprisingly exquisite. (We tried Strawberry creme, Sandía and Horchata) Sauces are decent. TOTALLY RECOMMEND! Tasty food, great service, the best location! First time here and I ordered some quesadillas with "carnitas". They were only $8 so I was expecting a little something to munch on because I wasn't that hungry. To my surprise, I was served a hefty portion with a lot of delicious pork meat. So good that I ended up eating all of it! My friends ordered other options and they were ALL happy (and full) with their choices. Chicken in the burrito was gross. Almost crunchy skin, like they cooked it earlier in the day and kept it under a heat lamp or back on the grill. Fine if it were a $6 fast food style burrito but not for a $14 burrito at a restaurant. They also won't serve tap water. The place serves quite very good tacos. However, the waitresses were awfully bad in customer service. They took very long time to attend me, although the place had only a couple of clients. Their faces were flat and not receptive. I even noticed discrimination to certain clients. The waitress are Dominicans, so they don't like to serve white puertorican customers. read more

This is a hidden gem. Located near the mall, I think many people overlook this restaurant/food truck, but it is well worth the stop. The menu is in Spanish and most of the employees only speak Spanish, but we still had no issues getting some delicious food. With some patience and a little help from google translate, we ordered the carnitas tacos, chorizo burrito, and carnitas nachos, and they were all delicious. The restaurant also has house made salsa that is very good. The parking can be a little tricky as the restaurant only has a few spots, but there is street parking nearby. I'm a local and this is my favorite burrito place. I have tried their chips and their soft tacos which are great! But man, I always go for the Carnitas Burrito. It has little chunks of chicharrón inside which goes great with all the other amazing ingredients and it just explodes in your mouth. There's always a point where I just close my eyes and just enjoy the ride. No burrito from any place beats this burrito. Maybe in Mexico, but for San Juan and the rest of the Metro Area, this burrito kicks butt. Service is also fast and you get your food real hot and yummy. Tip: always try ALL the sauces. They're all great but you'll find your favorite and stick to it along the end of the burrito or meal you're having. The restaurant per day is like a restaurant with a food truck concept. It's a small outdoor lot, great ambiance, enough parking in my opinion. My favorite time to go is after 4pm but specially after the sun goes down because the night gets more chilly in a good way and there's minimal light (but enough for you to see what you're eating) which is great for my light sensitive eyes. Open air, casual, clean and friendly. Food was delicious. Mexican with a Puerto Rican flair. Delicious local juices that are not too sweet. We had the coconut. I ate the Nachos Carnitas( pork) which as substantial enough to have leftovers. My husband ate the burritos carnitas, which did not have rice but was, nevertheless, delicious.
