Delicious! Wow! Hands down some of the best tacos I've ever had! The juice was so refreshing, but the steak taco was definitely the highlight for me. The service was great, and our waiter was super attentive and friendly. I also loved the cute ambiance and seating upstairs. Such a fun spot with great food and service!
The tacos here are consistently delicious. But, the service significantly takes away from the experience. Staff is always inattentive, with long wait times to place orders, receive food, and even request the check. It's common to have to flag someone down cause servers are chitchatting rather than checking on customers. The drinks aren't that great either. But I tried all of the tacos and they kinda fire.
We came in after 9 pm and ordered take out. Everything was fresh and taste very good. They were friendly and got our order as quick as they could. The place was full and seemed that others were enjoying their late meals as well.
Best food in San Juan which I had! Was so sad I discovered it on my last night. The service was quick and friendly. They have live music and it's a fun place to eat surrounded by locals and tourists. Now the food was absolutely delicious! We got the vegetarian tacos and burrito and couldn't stop eating. The seasonal veggies were excellent. The sauces were delicious. The drink was strong (definitely a heavy pour) but still very good! I would've eaten here every night if I knew about it sooner
OMG.. this place is the best! Barbacoa tacos, the best I've ever had, a must try. The chips pico were amazing. Husband's quesadilla was delicious. The burrito was huge. Everyone at our table was raving about the food. Service was good too. The seating was upstairs, no air but plenty of fans, still a little humid for this Arizona girl where there's no humidity. Definitely don't skip this place on your trip.

The tacos were solid--the tortilla tasted homemade and fresh...maybe one of the best I've had. BUT we waited 2 hours before even getting any food. We arrived at 7pm and weren't seated until 8:20pm because of the dinner crowd. Which would be normal EXCEPT they seated a handful people that arrived after us, before us (and they don't take reservations so idk how). Once we were seated we ordered promptly until another waitress came 15 minutes later and asked us to order. So we said we did. She checked and an order was never submitted. So we had to wait another 40 minutes to receive our food. We ordered guac and tacos and both took the 40 minutes. We asked the server if we could receive the guac beforehand and he said sure -- then we see him go to the kitchen to plate up our guac . We just felt like we waited for eternity here and while the food was good, it is definitely not worth over 2 hours to receive our food.

I got the Barbacoa, and the shredded beef marinated in garlic, which was slow dancing with the chiles and negra modelo. If you've never felt your taste buds waltz, you will today. Their plates will take to a metaphysical place of euphoria and joy. The service is wonderful. They are attentive to the needs of their customers and they checked in on my wife and I frequently while we devoured our plates. The ambiance is warm, eclectic, exciting, and vibrant. Wonderful casual restaurant! We visited twice for lunch during our Puerto Rico trip. The variety of tacos and gringas we tried were all delicious as was the guacamole and fresh chips. The charro beans were a stand out too. Drinks were creative and tasty. Christian was our waiter both times - very personable and efficient. Highly recommended!
If you are craving tacos, definitely come here to eat the Pastor tacos, they were delicious and the margaritas were pretty good too. The tortillas were delicious and hand made I believe

We knew this place would be good the moment we walked in and there were counter seats along the wall and a bar with additional seating upstairs. The Birra quesadillas were perfectly crispy and cheesy on the outside and delicious and packed with flavour on the inside especially dipped in the consume. We had an al pastor taco as well which in hindsight I should've put salsa on because it was a bit dry but the quality of the corn tortilla was chefs kiss. It was quiet enough to have a conversation. We didn't go upstairs but the seating we sat on was fine for a quick bite! We'll be back for sure read more

Went to Acapulco on 'Taco Tuesday' around 7pm and the place was packed. We had to wait a little to be seated, but it was absolutely worth it. The service was fast despite how busy they were, and several tacos were on special for only $3. The tacos were packed with filling, meat tender and flavorful, and tortillas were homemade. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. My favorite items were tacos Al Pastor and Gringas with crunchy cheese outside. Both incredibly delicious. The frozen watermelon margarita was also a standout and paired perfectly with the meal. It wasn't overly sweet. Great food, great atmosphere and great value, at least on Tuesday's haha... Food (5/5 stars): I was so excited to try Acapulco Taqueria Mexicana, but very let down when they ran out of Al Pastor (their most popular meat). I settled with the Ribeye Tacos. The steak was grilled so well but lacked the flavor Al Pastor would have. Nonetheless, these were still very delicious and satisfying tacos. I highly recommend, especially when they have Al Pastor Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: pretty reasonable * Wait Time: minimal for a party of 2 on a Sunday night * Service: good * Ambiance: it's an older establishment that has the vibes of an authentic taqueria read more

Went around 7:30pm, staff was very friendly. Our waiter was THE best, super helpful and informative. I got the spicy passionfruit Marg and it was SPICY and TASTY. My spouse got the Starwberry Frozen Marg and no lie it was the best frozen marg we've ever had. The food was yummy as well and service was very fast. (Music was great too) read more

The spot! We've tried quesabirria all over and this one was THE best! Also the Burrito Maria so good! The frozen watermelon margaritas melted in your mouth! So so good! Definitely worth the prices. read more
I wasn't really expecting much from a Mexican place located in Puerto Rico to be honest but I was willing to try it. The food was okay and $4.50 for a single taco is just robbery! We placed our order to-go because we were on a timeframe and they gave me rice/beans instead of the elote I had ordered. Disappointing! I really wanted to try it. Service was slow and it took forever to even get our order taken but that seems to be a trend at a lot of restaurants in PR. Maybe they're telling Americans to stop rushing so much LOL. My friend got a quesadilla with pastor meat and she did not like it. Rated it a 3/10. For my meal I ordered 1 taco al pastor and 1 barbacoa taco. The pastor was not bad. I enjoyed that at least, but I've had better. The barbacoa wasn't really great. My friend did like that one though so that's up for debate, haha. After eating both tacos my stomach started to feel a little gross (and I don't really have a sensitive stomach when it comes to food) so I can't say I had the best experience with Acapulco. read more

Updating my review from 9 months ago. Just got back to San Juan and checked in. These are the best tacos I've ever had, including NY and LA. The tortilla is notable in itself : corn & handmade obviously, but it holds together very well. The meat tacos have more filling than necessary (which is nice!), but not so much as to be absurd. Seriously good food. I hate to be that person, but my stomach is pretty sensitive. I ordered the very cheesy quesadilla - I believe the Asada one. I absolutely loved eating them. But I felt kind of sick after. And that's only because of my weird stomach issue. The food was wonderful and looking back, I'd order the tacos. I think they'd be a better option for me. Also we ordered a handful of margaritas and they were awesome! The interior gives off a homey vibe and you'll love (hopefully as much as I did) the upstairs dining portion. I recommend Acapulco! read more

A divy-esque no frills taco spot. Visited this spot on Taco Tuesday they had a few specials where were appealing. Can get a bit hot on the roof, though they do have fans. A DJ was also there, and the tunes were pretty good. I ate the pollo and ribeye tacos. Nothing to write home about but not bad. My only gripe was that service was pretty slow. It took about 15 minutes to get our first round of drinks and water. read more
