Staff is always inattentive, with long wait times to place orders, receive food, and even request the check. It's common to have to flag someone down cause servers are chitchatting rather than checking on customers. The drinks aren't that great either. Two of us were vegetarian and got the burrito bowl and it was stellar. Best food in San Juan which I had! Was so sad I discovered it on my last night. The service was quick and friendly. They have live music and it's a fun place to eat surrounded by locals and tourists. OMG.. this place is the best! Barbacoa tacos, the best I've ever had, a must try. The chips pico were amazing. Husband's quesadilla was delicious. The burrito was huge. The tacos were solid--the tortilla tasted homemade and fresh...maybe one of the best I've had. BUT we waited 2 hours before even getting any food. We arrived at 7pm and weren't seated until 8:20pm because of the dinner crowd. Which would be normal EXCEPT they seated a handful people that arrived after us, before us (and they don't take reservations so idk how). Once we were seated we ordered promptly until another waitress came 15 minutes later and asked us to order. So we said we did. She checked and an order was never submitted. So we had to wait another 40 minutes to receive our food. We ordered guac and tacos and both took the 40 minutes. We asked the server if we could receive the guac beforehand and he said sure -- then we see him go to the kitchen to plate up our guac . We just felt like we waited for eternity here and while the food was good, it is definitely not worth over 2 hours to receive our food. read more

Had dinner here my last night in Puerto Rico. I had one chicken one steak and one Barbacoa taco. The taco sizes are huge. It was so much food. I ate like 1 1/2. They give you so much meat. The steak was my favorite. The Barbacoa taco was really wet like soaked through the tortilla and it was so much meat. It was a little overwhelming. My husband loved the flavor of the chicken. This is hands down my favorite taco spot on the island! I've been coming here regularly for over 3 years, and it's always consistently delicious. The chicken tacos are my absolute favorite, but the pico de gallo, guacamole, burrito bowls, and quesadillas are all incredible too. And you must try the sauces!
