I really hate to write bad reviews, but this needs to be noted. My son and I ate here today and we both ended up with horrible food poisoning. I had the breakfast burrito with bacon, and he had the Cali chicken burrito. Within hours, we were both extremely sick. Clearly, something was not handled properly. The ingredients didn't even taste fresh, and the place itself didn't seem particularly clean. I regret not trusting my instincts. I don't take writing bad reviews lightly, but people should know what they're getting into. I won't be coming back. read more

I am writing this before food coma hits. This place was recommended by a coworker so this morning our group chose here to order breakfast. Between the 8 of us we picked all the breakfast items on the menu. While all the results are good this will just be about what I had. I chose the breakfast bowl with chicken and sour cream and Jalapeño Rqnch Aoli. First of all, all portions from the tacos to the loaded fries are generous options that are well worth the cost (tacos you get two FYI), the bowl was just as generous with chicken and potatoes and eggs. The chicken was cooked perfectly to still be juicy and tender and easy to chew, potatoes were soft and flavorful but the eggs! Scrambled BUT large portions instead of fully broken up so every bite got to have some egg with it. Well seasoned enough to stand on their own but harmonious with other bites of chicken or potatoes or cheese or just pico and guacamole! The whole meal had some heat to it, the pico was part of the source but the ranch definitely added a bit. Leaves a nice warm burn after that's slow to part. All in all, this was the best bowl I've had in years, we can definitely say we'll order here again. Everything was packed well and marked with the name of the meat to make it easy to distribute with a generous amount of forks and napkins so everyone had some plus extras. Just in case. Only down side? I ate the entire thing. Do I have regrets? Yes. Would I do it again? Also yes. Go and try everything! read more

I needa stop walking into restaurants without any customers inside... Their menu made no sense to me, but I think I get it now. They have "breakfast style" and "lunch style", I was looking for the burrito outside of those hours. It was dinner time lol. Anyways I got the... lunch style surf and turf burrito with the cheese wrap for $20. I waited about 12 mins, they forgot to make my order and then I realized they forgot the cheese wrap when I got home...The food is not terrible, but really basic stuff for the price. It was overly salty though. Kinda glad they forgot the cheese, otherwise it woulda been a week's worth of sodium. Great spot for Mexican food, California-style! I remember trying them out of their first pop-up location in the valley, I was pleased to hear that they've had a brick and mortar for some time now so I decided to try it out again. Great location, super clean, the front staff was also very friendly and prepared my order quickly.... First time coming in here and was helped by Dania. She was really energetic, friendly, and passionate about this establishment. We ended up picking the shrimp breakfast burrito over the lunch/dinner version, waffle fries, and asked for the Bomba Sauce and Jalapeno Ranch Aoili. We also, ended up getting the watermelon lemonade and homemade horchata since we were going to have to wait a bit for our food to be ready. Dania talked with us more about the establishment and other recommendations she had for the next time we came to visit. She definitely said the waffle fries with the Jalapeno Ranch Aioli was a good combo. By the time out food was ready, we were excited to eat everything and left with a smile on our faces after our conversation with Dania came to an end. She ended up throwing in the other sauce options they had for us to try and I definitely loved the Mango Habanero and the Jalapeno Ranch Aioli was a close second. We ate out meal in the car and I loved the cheese exterior of the burrito and the nice spice and crunch of the peppers as we dug in. The horchata and watermelon lemonade complimented our meal pretty well and we are excited to come back to give their lunch and meat options a try since I couldn't eat meat today due to Lent hehe My brother definitely said he could have more of that cheese topping and I definitely would have asked for extra shrimp to out burrito because it was good. Perfect food when you're not trying to be healthy! OMG I ordered their loaded fries with chicken...it was sooooo gooooood! Fries were these waffle cut fries and they were cooked to perfection, not dry! No toppings were wasted and every bite, even at the bottom, was packed with flavor! Unfortunately for my big booty I'll be back! LOL BTW I'd say from getting the fries that they're totally shareable. I'd be impressed if one person could eat this on their own. She helped me with ordering a steak and shrimp burrito, and steak loaded fries. I ordered a lunch burrito, so no eggs. It was amazing! I thought it'd have the cheese blanket, but it didn't. Still loved it!!! Got the fries w steak per Danias recommendation. She also told me the jalapeño aioli is amazing on the dry fries. Dont let the name fool you, it's not spicy. I can't handle spice! It's flavorful though, and compliments the fries well! Dania opened the kitchen door and I said hi to my chef of the evening, Eric. He seemed friendly, and def knew his way around the food! I also got the watermelon cucumber I believe, agua Fresca. So refreshing! I added ginger carbonated water and spiked it at home. Sooo good! *I smoked before eating, but it was JUST as amazing wo it. I normally call in orders so they don't get charged by uber eats etc but this place charges 10.5 % to call in order! Can you say over priced! The lemonade is straight sugar! Unfortunately, the burrito was pretty bland, the ingredients were very separated so that one side was completely cold because of how much pico de gallo was in one spot, and there was a whole uncut potato inside rather than the cubed potato shown in all the photos and social media videos. As a breakfast burrito lover, nothing beats Burrito Bomba as my primary burrito spot in Glendale. They include all of the ingredients you'd expect in a traditional breakfast burrito: eggs, potatoes, and your choice of meat. I switch off between the chorizo and the sausage/bacon combo. Something noteworthy about Burrito Bomba is that they really nail proportioning the ingredients properly. At some other breakfast burrito spots, I'll get all the eggs in one corner of the burrito or bite into giant mouthfuls of potatoes, but at Bomba I tend to get a bit of each ingredient with every bite. And another big draw for me - as I don't like cheese - is they've never put cheese in my burrito when I've asked them not to. This is huge because most places I go to occasionally put cheese when I ask them not to. Went to this place super excited from all the hype and when I walked in, the cashier was some incompetent high school age looking girl with earphones on and her phone out. She gave us attitude even though we were happy to be coming in and trying the food for the first time. She probably didn't even Input my order right because when I got my order it was completely wrong. Tried to ask for help so I could change out my food but she was reluctant to help me because she wanted to close the store 25 minutes early so I didn't even bother at that point. I came to this place based on the great reviews and the fact that the pictures make it look amazing, but to me overall this place was not it. It was off to a good start with the woman at the counter she was very sweet and the service was great it was the food that was lackluster. Especially for an over $17 dollar burrito I definitely felt like I should have gone elsewhere. Don't get me wrong the portions are generous and I got the West coast burrito which showed a plethora of things inside yet I only really tasted fries and cheese. I understand fries are a main ingredient but the steak didn't have much flavor nor the guacamole, so I could really only make it 1/3 of the way though the burrito before my stomach started to hurt. If I didn't know what was in it I would have never been able to guess that there were more than those 2 ingredients in it. I really wanted to give it a solid chance but I had to tap out, wasn't that great and made my stomach hurt it was so greasy. Place is small inside couple tables to seat but not for big parties. Ordered the sausage and bacon breakfast burrito. Pics on Yelp looked great so I was ready. I was a little shocked when the burrito was smaller then I thought it would be. I looked across at the other table at the burrito another patron was eating and it was bigger. What the what? It was my first time here and I got 2 burritos for pickup and they were so good. The customer service was amazing. I asked for side sauces and they gave us 2 per burrito. We got salsa verde and jalapeño ranch, they were so amazing I wish I had my own bottles at home. The guy working was extremely nice and patient with our questions. The shop itself was very clean and easy to read menu. We spent about $30 on 2 burritos drinks and salsa. I would definitely recommend coming here. I myself will be coming back again.
