As for Allergies, he told me to continue taking Claritin. Would not help me further. Well here we are 3 yrs later, I finally was able to get a new ENT with my insurance, turns out I have a terrible Sinus infection thats been going for years since I saw Dr Whong. My new doc gave me antibiotics, and a week later I can smell again and my nose is clearing up. Stay away from this lazy doc.

Dr Burres performed a rhinoplasty on our daughter. After the surgery and following his care…read moreinstructions She developed a lump near the bridge of her nose. She went in later for a procedure to correct this. Another lump developed. She was also shivering as if in extreme cold when she came out. It was unnerving. After both surgeries, she was told to wear the small nose splint for a short time. She was instructed to then remove it and begin using her index fingers along the length of both sides of her nose as a splint. Her fingers? For many hours for many days? He has a very unfriendly bedside manner but that didn't bother me. The squarish lumpy bump on one side of the bridge of her nose that she now is left with - does bother me. We called him about this lump and all he said is bring her back and he will fix it. Ummmm - let's see. Two surgeries and the last one ended with her seeming to be nearly in shock she was so cold. I think not. He did not follow up with us after that. His unfriendly bedside manner does not bother me as much as his terrible work and my fear that the second surgery was not normal. Do not see Dr. Burres for any cosmetic work

Said she didnt have an ENT on her list, then miraculously found an updated list when i said i would like the drs. email, of course the number DID NOT work. I understand this is a HARD PROFESSION...everyone is leaving California. But it is unacceptable, no matter where you are when you are dealing with the live of another. I'm allergic to just about everything 2 PAGES worth.... I wasn't able to breathe out of my left nostril for about 20 years. I had so many polyps in my nasal cavities that it was the worst they've even seen. I had a nasal plaste, sinus balloon dilation, and they removed 100% of all the polyps! The Air Force had me living in areas that I was allergic to EVERYTHING special in areas of farmlands. And after 26 years I can breathe normal and get a great night sleep! He is a master of his ENT craft. Highly knowledgeable and just as caring. Most physicians we've encountered don't review a patient's information, until the actual visit. All the other doctors were booked out two weeks and had layers upon layers of bureaucracy, but Dr. Raffi's practice is "concierge" and made an appointment for me at the end of his day so I ran to Beverly Hills. His appointment cost was only 25 dollars more than my local doctors and I didn't have to wait. After several vocal tests and inspection, found I hadn't lost my voice but had a "lesion" on my vocal cord! He stuck all the cameras and the scopes all around my throat and through my nose and everything until I saw a freaking PICTURE of this thing in the screen. Soon we scheduled the surgery, and I am recovering as we speak (no pun intended). His staff is pretty cool and very accommodating, and Brandon, his scheduler is pretty cool and always dresses nice. The nurses are kind and prompt as well. I had a question once and tried to call outside operating hours and Dr. Raffi even called me on his personal cell phone promptly afterwards. I don't think one can expect much better than this...

My deviated septum was untouched and the rhinoplasty looked nothing as we discussed. I had to go to an entire different doctor who then performed another procedure to fix his mistakes. When I attempted to email or call him about my concerns, I got no response and was directed to his office staff. His bedside manners are good but I doubt his skills at treating people.
