That's where things begin to go a bit south as the peanut butter frosting was good, but just too mild of a flavor. A suggestion I have based on some of the best doughnut shops in the country that I've encountered would be filling the doughnut with a peanut butter frosting. That would definitely take this doughnut to the next level. It was still a nice dessert to have with my breakfast and for the price wasn't bad. The "sweet" tea is not sweet. The restrooms are nasty, but the rest of the restaurant is clean. Why just the restrooms? Sometimes the lines here can be super long, I recommend calling your order in ahead. This way you can skip the line and just pick up your order. They have a ton of different flavors, lemon, apple, strawberry, raspberry...all worth trying!! A dozen is good for 2 people ;-). They will keep a couple days if you don't eat them all the first day. My only complaint is that I wish they were open Sundays. Usually I pick them up when I'm passing through on a Friday or Saturday morning headed out of town. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I was so mad at her utter lack of curiosity and her apparent belief in her own infallibility that I poured another fresh cup of coffee, put the "Half and Half" in it, tasted Hazelnut coffee mate, and had to throw it away again. The owner didn't care to watch but the employees saw it. I am allergic to carageenan because I was bitten by a lone star tick and got Alpha Gal allergy. Over 500,000 Americans, most in the Southeast, have this allergy. Coffee Mate has carageenan. I would love to continue coming to Daily Donuts, but not if I am going to be gas lit by the owner.

Unfortunately, none of the donuts lived up to expectations. All three were served cold, the crème brûlée tasted less than fresh and the Dubai chocolate was noticeably dry. I also felt like the Dubai chocolate was overpriced at $7 given the quality. Overall I left disappointed.
