I am normally a diplomatic person but I was so caught off guard by his rude and demeaning tone and words as well as his total lack of care and service that I left in shock and disbelief. I've been coming here for years for my wife's contacts and have brought our children here when they need their eyes checked. Never had any problems with ophthalmologist and they have always been professional, nice and helpful. My wife has been able to try out multiple different contacts to find the one that works the best. They've always been accommodating and will even leave the contact she needs outback at a place that she can come after hours to get them if she can't make it during hours. You don't see that from a business very often. read more

Optometrist seemed in a bad mood, perhaps it's just his personality. There were three of us getting exams and glasses. He would not listen to any of our concerns, dismissed questions like he was annoyed. Actually said that he would rather be on the golf course....After our exams, he came through the office area almost dancing. Very strange behavior. Eyeglass manager was rude, maybe she was in a bad mood too. She rushed us through. The ladies who checked us in and out were cordial. Exams and glasses seemed overpriced. One of our pair was useless. Not sure what happened on the exam, other than doctor wouldn't listen and rushed. This was two years ago, and it still stings. It's time for another checkup for all three of us, but we won't be going back to Burnet Eye Care. read more

Great place with nice people. Very professional. Went for an eye exam for contacts and the staff was very knowledgeable regarding insurance. I live 2 hours away and it will be worth the drive in the future. I know everyone has bad days so if the receptionists or doctors seem to be in a bad mood don't hold it against them. read more

The eye exam and prescription were professional. Whoever fits the lens to the frames needs further training. The right eye alignment was correct; however, the left lens was off by 1/2 inch. If I pulled the glasses to the left I could focus the left eye correctly. They remeasured my pupils position and sent the frames back. Same results. The fourth time I requested and received a refund. I don't have a problem with the exam, but the Optical department should consider using a better lens fitter. read more

First the office in llano does not sanitize equipment or wear masks in lieu of COVID-19. I traveled from Austin to visit this clinic for an eye and contact exam. I signed a form that a $50 charge was for the new contacts they would fit me for and I would return in 2 weeks to pick up glasses and determine how the contacts performed. 3 weeks later I called as had not received a call that glasses had returned. I returned to burnet eye care in llano and ushered to the exam room and sat w a tech. In the discussion w the tech I was informed that when I was last there they did not have inventory or stock on one of the contacts he had prescribed and therefore sent me back home to try a contact that was not my prescription. Are you KIDDING? I have paid to try a correct contact. Do you have it in stock? NO! They want to send me back home with the wrong contact and have me return for a third time. Grabbed my glasses without trying and left. Why would I trust them at this point. The glasses are unusable! Wrong script on glasses too. Called the office and spoke w the office manager who spoke with the doctor. I asked for a full refund b4 contacting my credit card company to dispute. They declined as they want me to make a 3rd trip to their clinic which would entail a 4th trip to the clinic at the very least. I will make an appointment w another eye clinic and start the whole procedure over. In 8 years I have never had to return to my eye clinic for glasses and contacts. And never imagined a doctor would give you the wrong eyewear or drug because they did not carry stock. This will be disputed and I will crucify online. I had a prescription from Burnet Eye Care (DR Danson). I ordered a refill on 4 August 2021 and still had not received it by 9-14-2021. I was in constant contact with my pharmacy and was informed the problem was not at their end. After receiving further info from the pharmacy I learned that the product was no longer available. The pharmacy contacted my doctor and informed them of the problem and recommended another product. As the doctor was with a patient the receptionist authorized the refill and said she would inform DR Danson. Later I was informed that DR Danson denied the request without providing me a reason. I have been going to my pharmacy for 15 years and Burnet Eye Care maybe 4-5 years. Danson became my eye doctor in 2020 after DR Leija moved away. If the eye doctor cannot agree with the pharmacist on a recommendation he should give his reasoning and provide another product. This he did not do. Sorry Danson, I have had nothing but problems since going through two surgeries and I see the writing on the wall. Don't know where the San Francisco, CA came from. I leve in Marble Falls. read more
