This was one of my best experiences. I was out looking for a large 3x and 5X pants for patient in my nursing home. Cause Christmas is coming. I like to buy them all especially the people that don't have families at least a new outfit of clothes and maybe some aftershave or something if they use it so I had to find some pants for a gentleman veteran in my nursing home it was 5X I called down this particular Burlington Coat Factory Woonsocket spoke to Emily on the phone and she has said hold on one man. I'll go look for you Eye at the time did not know what she was doing. When she came back because yes, I have like five or six pair. I'm looking for the navy blue black or gray. She said I have some of those right there on the rack told me where they were and stuff I saw me about 20 minutes. Show all the stories in case it be like 20 minutes was actually 18 from where I was at in Franklin. I got down there. I finally found the pants I spoke to the exact Girl had talked to me on the phone very very nice. She said she's only a temporary worker. She comes in and works like three or four months to the holidays every year she showed me where she might get back to the phone. Is that because she had taken in and found all five pairs of pants that I needed it and put them all together in the same section of the rack, even though the sizes weren't together so I didn't have to keep searching to the rack to get what I wanted, which was amazing. And then I was able to get two pairs of pants both under $12 which is really hard with having a triple X or whatever size pants and then she asked if you go with anything else I was looking for like a cardigan sweater that was react and couple of things she helped me. We couldn't find the three eggs but she did help me to find a 2X sweater for my son for Christmas. That was only 1099 and a couple other things. I was just so upbeat and positive with the experience that I spent the time talking to the manager about 10 minutes before I left to tell how amazing the young girl was, and how helpful of a board she went to make sure that their customer was fully satisfied with the purchase and didn't need anything else to me that says it all that means she really cares about her job and cares about the company and wants u to come back and want you to be happy I do go particular store anyway anyways, but I have never answered this girl before but I'm sure glad I met this girl today. Emily is a true person that you would want to have in your store encouraging your customers to buy because she looked at several different racks and Rob kept bringing me back things to see if I was looking for and a couple of things, but they were just more than I could consciously be allowed to pay because of the fact that I'm buying these gifts for patients in my nursing home and then I'll have to pay me back so it's all out of my pocket. So that's why I have to go to I can afford, but I appreciate everything she did thank you again. read more

The Woonsocket store has really gone down hill. When we went in at 9 am when store just opened it looked like a tornado had gone through it. There was merchandise thrown on the floor. There was clothing thrown over the racks. The shelves looked a mess. It looked like stuff was just put anywhere. And even the cashier bays had merchandise piled up. The store looked like no one had cleaned it for weeks. Only one cashier who was being trained. To bad this store used to be nice now it looks like a dump. read more

This place needs to be shut down by the health department.... aside from the fact that the quality and variety of the merchandise is awful, came here in December and there was water pouring from the ceiling everywhere....stopped by this week and it was closed due to electric issues.... save yourself the aggravation and drive 20 minutes to south Attleboro. read more

I really like this particular Burlington Coat Factory. The store is huge and always clean. Their shoe selection is awesome and I can always find a few pieces of clothing to purchase. The staff is pretty friendly and their baby section is adorable. Their housewares department some times has a few great clearance pieces. read more

To say this store is a disgrace is an understatement. Upon entering this establishment, the floor is covered in dirt and food before your shopping experience even begins. Doesn't anyone ever vacuum this place? It happened to be a day after we had several inches of rain in the area and the store has several leaks from the ceiling with buckets and tarps throughout the store. I know Mother Nature's ways are unavoidable but leaving buckets of dirty water in their aisles is unacceptable. The smell throughout the store was enough to gag someone. Again, why aren't the employees emptying these smelly dirty buckets ?! Customers have to walk by this all while trying to look at items. It's distracting and disgusting. Upon checking out there was a major water leak above the main cash register. Why stay open and subject your customers and employees to such poor working and shopping conditions?!? I haven't been in a Burlington Coat Factory for YEARS. I will be returning to another location ASAP. This place is GREAT! Since the closest Burlington is about 25 minutes from my house (and that's not this one), I never go there. But, during my journey on Black Friday through Bellingham & Woonsocket, I saw the sign on the side of Diamond Hill Road and decided to stop by. Good thing! And by the way, they are the ONLY large store in the plaza still. It looks like there was a Staples & Lowes that both closed down. The rest of the plaza is filled with small shops, or small spaces for lease. And across the street, an empty Walmart building sits. How sad. Something NEEDS to be done with Route 114 in Woonsocket!! Well anyway, back to my visit to Burlington Coat. Walked in and was wowed. This store is HUGE. This space could easily be a Walmart, Home Depot or another LARGE retailer. There were SO many clothing racks. A HUGE Baby department (even though I don't shop in that dept). A HUGE Homegoods Section, lots of Kitchen products, Bath, as well as a Travel section. Basically, it was Marshalls or TJ Maxx on steroids. All the same departments as Marshalls or TJ's, but they were all LARGER, and therefore, offered more, while prices were the same as Marshalls or TJ's or even lower. Checkout was fast and efficient. There was an employee directing traffic, which helped calm the congestion throughout the area. Overall, I will be visiting again (maybe not this location though, as it is about 40 minutes from my home), and making another large purchase. Great place. 5 stars. read more

This Burlington is ok.. The one in Johnston has a better selection though. Decent selection for shoes and the suit section is not bad, but prefer the Johnston store. read more

If i could give negitive stars i would.. This company steals from its customers and they lack customer service. I went there on november 20, 2016 to pick up my layaway. first of all they switched the recipts in my layaway (very unorginized). then the associate i was working with convinced me that the balance she was giving me was indeed my balance. im not a very argumentitive persone so i just paid the balance i was given. As i was inspecting my reciept i noticed that the items this associate just had me pay for WAS NOT my items the reciept she had me pay for was one with shoes and towels and i was paying for baby clothes.. still no big deal to me at the time since the transaction was already done i offered to take the store credit and use that to pay for my correct items and ill keep the balance on the store credit since i shop there alot. Instead the woman voided my transaction and said the 76 dollars would return to my card in 3 days and RECHARDED me for my correct layaway. Til this day the money was never refunded to my card I've tried working with the store managers showing them my bank statements and all to prove the money was taken and never refunded. I've even tried contacting corporate and no one is trying to help me. Im just warning you guys BE CAREFUL read more
