Dishonest business practices. I checked out with my own bag. The cashier asked me if I wanted a…read morebag. I clearly said no, as I hate paying for bags. Its a stupid law crammed down peoples throats by politicians. The cashier silently added the bag fee anyway. I paid and just as I saw the receipt I saw the bag fee. I said I didn't want a bag, refund the fee. The manager said they can't do that. They will charge you a bag fee whether you want it or not, and they will not refund it. They claim there's no way to do it. But that's not the way retail works. Anything put in can be taken out. Manager said patronizingly "well sir its not a big deal, its just 8 cents.". Nice of her to trivialize my finances. Terrible customer service. Will not shop the chain again. Manager was entirely unwilling to fix her cashiers mistake, at customers' expense. Terrible store.

Went to…read morereturn the dress the next day and said they weren't allowed to do a return due to "dirt" on the dress. There was no dirt on the dress lol not to mention that I bet half of the stuff there is covered in dirt due to it being knocked onto the floor and put back up to sell. Prices are great home decor is great customer service and friendliness of the staff is terrible and not worth it. Only 1 cashier who was clearly in training and a full line of people a older lady said she would be there to help in a second and never showed up beside to say I couldn't have a refund staff/manager is clearly money hungry

***** 5 star alert *****…read more I walk in the bright and unassuming little shop to get bombarded with smiles, love, true happiness, clothes and accessories! My first trip in Tanya (Tonya?!) was incredibly helpful and accommodating which was greatly appreciated. Also, she didn't give me some BS line about the pants doing my waist any justice. I appreciate honesty! I knew the pants were bad and she agreed:-) I walked out with a couple new shirts and some decent info into the store and its roots! As I walked out Tanya jokingly said, 'if you find any sweet pants come back and show me!' So off I went only to return in about an hour to show her my sweet finds! It was during my return when I was given honor of meeting Jessica, the owner. Jessica and I exchanged some light banter as I started her new store a Yelp page. I was in Spokane valley yesterday and couldn't pass up the opportunity to see what was new. I walk in and both Tanya and Jessica are standing there beaming before starting to fuss over what would be best for me to try on. I bought an awesome blue shirt and left with a huge smile, grateful they recognized me and make it a point to go out of their way to make me comfortable! This mall is surprisingly large... And surprisingly... Alive?…read more Stepping into this mall is a little bit like stepping into a time warp. I haven't been to a mall that was this full in a number of years. Not only were there a lot of people, but there weren't very many empty storefronts. Which I feel is a rarity in recent years. Like I said the small is absolutely huge. The parking lot is huge. It takes quite a bit to walk around the whole mall and see all of the shops. They have all the standard shops that you would expect: Pandora, Macy's, Hot topic, Spencer's gifts, there's even a great board game store. So why four stars instead of five? There are two main reasons for this. The first reason is that while there are a lot of stores, and there are the majority of the stores that you would expect, the mall is missing a few key stores that are needed. Specifically a toy store. There are several stores in the mall that have a small toy selection, but there isn't a store in the mall that just sells toys, and just sells like Legos. A LEGO store would be a great addition to any mall, I don't know if the Spokane Valley Mall is large enough to warrant the Lego store, but this mall needs a toy store. There is a Toys R Us section in the Macy's, but it's one of the smallest Toys R Us sections I've seen in any Macy's I've been in. Oh! And there's a great indoor playground at the end of the mall that you have to pay for. But there's also a great free play place down by the indoor playground. Both are good options for small kids. The second thing that brings this mall from four stars to five stars is the food court. I get that food courts are a weird proposition in 2025, but the pickings here are pretty slim. And other than Sbarro there's none of the staples that you would expect from a food court, although there is a cinnabon located elsewhere in the mall. There's also a large movie theater right by the mall, which is nice, it's also surrounded by a bunch of other stores that you're probably looking to shop at like Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, Dick's sporting goods. It's also surrounded by a bunch of restaurants like Red Robin, Buffalo wild wings, black house steakhouse. So if you're looking for a good mall experience definitely check this mall out. Don't forget to stop by my favorite store uncle's games.
