This large Burlington store has a bit of everything. And it has a lot of merchandise! I browsed the purses, women's tops, dresses, shoes, and lingerie. I also got to look through the clearance items of one section. This is the kind of place where there are a few designer labels mixed in. You have to know the difference, if it matters to you. I was only looking for something inexpensive and colorful -- or as they say "cheap and cheerful". I found a casual dress that fit perfectly and was priced right. I was surprised there were so many others shopping on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We'd stopped in as it was in the same plaza as where we'd eaten lunch and I wanted to check them out. I was getting some car maintenance done at tires plus and needed to kill some time so I decided to go shopping here. In search of work clothes I browsed the women's dresses section and shoes in hopes of finding some affordable gems. I lucked out in shoes finding some styles I liked but none in my size. The women's dresses department did not disappoint however with many cute pieces ranging between $15-$25. I had an arm FULL of items I couldn't wait to try on (because I am at the age where I have to try things on in store to guarantee a certain fit) and to my surprise the dressing rooms were closed! I had to return all my items back to the rack and at that point was ready to leave. Such a bummer but I don't see myself returning due to the inconvenience. read more

This location is a mess! The items are scattered everywhere with no organization at all. There's hardly any staff on the floor, and the checkout lines are always long. They have 12 registers but only 3 cashiers working. Why don't they have floor staff help out at the registers to speed things up? Having worked in retail, I know that cross-training staff is essential to manage busy times and cover different areas as needed. The staff seemed really overwhelmed, and the service was just okay. They had a decent selection of items. My nephew was able to find two jackets for $50. Great value for the money. read more

I came in today to get another Suit. The place was spotless! Everything organized and clean. Staff around to help! Only drawback was fitting room was closed. I can work around that. Now we all know that Burlington is not known for providing an accommodating customer experience. They're here to bring you a bargain, so long as there is not a tj maxx or Marshalls in the immediate area. I popped in for an emergency pair of flip flops. One item. In and out. Not only was the wait time 40 mins to pay, But there were only 3 cashiers! The line looked like it was Christmas. And once I finally did make it to the front of the line, the cashiers were leisurely chit chattin away as if their were not 50 customers uncomfortably (yet patiently) waiting in line. The cherry on top was that the store is beyond a disaster, the worst being the checkout maze. Just gross. Things just thrown about. Broken candy/food crumbs and a pile of merchandise in the middle of the last corner. It doesn't look at all like it fell , it honestly looks like someone truly gave up halfway through their shift (I mean I get it). I wonder if this store even has a manager. read more

S till give you 5 start because I do like the store , but this time I wasn't happy with what saw . Store was extremely upside down messy , I couldn't find anything at all .. hope it gets back to normal soon . Also there was few lady's " throwing things left and right like was garbage. I've been pleasantly surprised at this store this last week. They have a nice selection if you're willing to take your time going through. I was looking for inexpensive home goods and first visited my go-to's (ross, tjmaxx/homegoods, even big lots etc) and after failing at the usual, I took a chance at Burlington. The prices were much less with comparable merchandise. I've been back at least 3x this last week as I'm redecorating two rooms in my home. I think within the week, they've even moved display fixtures around to open up the home goods area - it's made a much better difference in the flow of that area! As for service, checkout out is pretty slow but they do line the wait area with plenty to look at. I don't expect much service-wise at places like this because the savings and selection make up for it. read more

It is not a wonderful store simply because it's always disorganized, the things are everywhere and the staff is not friendly at all. Almost bottom of the barrel sort of Burlington Coat Factory. The worse part of a shopping experience is checking out or making a return is painfully long to wait. read more

Went above and beyond to assist me with helping me find a cart, bring it to the cashier, and all the way to the front door. She was well informed about the store prices and suggestions. Enjoyed shopping here today much more than I expected. The Plus size selections are plentiful. I was looking for a dress for an event next month. Sometimes choices for plus -sized gals are limited but not at Burlington Coat Factory. I had more options than I normally do when shopping. Actually, I purchased TWO dresses instead of the one dress I planned to buy because I was so happy to find stylish clothes in my size! Prices are reasonable as well. The only downsides were: 1) Fitting room area very cramped entering and exiting the area. 2) Bra area was a mess. I am a plus sized lady but my bust line is not enormous. I looked in the area to find my size bra and it was marked but there were bras that were sized D and DD in the B and C area. By chance I found a few items that fit me nowhere near where they belonged. There was minimal wait in the check out area. My cashier's name was Drammer, according to the receipt. She was efficient, pleasant, and helpful. I will be back! read more

Love this place, great prices, quality and selection, but when it comes to check out, I've never seen employees move so SLOW!!! Here's a hint.. The scanner does 90% of the work, you just have to actually scan the items quickly. Great store, nice employees, could use self check out. read more

This is a nice store but the Womens Shoe Dept. is no good - shoes were every where and not a lot styles to choose from . Lots of clothing to find - side note - I was in the Womens Dress Dept. area and found 3 Calvin K. dresses that were So Stylist each under $30 GREAT Find. Burlington Coat Factory offered my son a job working in the stock room. Burlington has a program for autistic students to work at their store, while going to school. His teacher and my son were both told of the days of the week and the hours that he would work. I was told to bring him on Thursday, which I did. The Assistant said that he forgot to put him on the schedule, not to worry he has the job, the were glad he was going to be on the team, everyone was very excited to have him. I asked if I should bring him back at the same time, I was told yes. I brought him back, and the Assistant Manager was not even there, wouldn't be in until 9. We took him back a 9 and nobody knows anything hiring manager knows nothing, she said she would e-mail us the forms that need to be filled out. Till this day we have not received any forms, the store manager never got back with us. I think they want these kids to work for them when they are in school because they don't have to pay them (free labor). I called the HR dept at Corp several times, one time at 2 pm on a Wednesday, I was told they all went home early. My son was upset didn't understand why they did not want him. read more
