Burlington Coat Factory does not honor their policy. The cashier refused to provide a refund to original payment method as stated on their receipt. In addition, the floor was covered in merchandise and the employees just watched as people blatantly shoved items down their pants yelling obscenities. It's unbelievable in there, I dont even want to use the gift card.

I've been shopping at this Burlington coat factory for years. Since I started going they've redesigned the space quite a few times and I must say I used to like the way it looked more. Nevertheless Burlington does sell really nice clothes at very cheap prices. So below is the break down for my review Pros: Cheap clothes Hassle free returns (most of the time) Friendly service Unique products (great cheap hair mask that was twice the price online) Cons: Location seems spooky or barren most of the time A little disorganized

All toilets looked like this !

This bathroom was so nasty. And a ton of employees working but none can seem to clean up the bathroom !! Such a shame ,

Used Crack pipe found in item purchased for my child

Purchased basketball shorts for my daughter yesterday. Today she tried them on to make sure they fit. She comes out her room saying "mom you need to check pockets ". She found a used Crack pipe in her pocket, which she touched at first not knowing what it was. Went to the store and spoke with a manager she proceeds to ask me why I didn't check the pockets. I explained how I have shopped there for years and would never expect to find a Crack pipe on my clothes. She rolled her eyes as if I was making a big deal out of nothing and how dare I not take responsibility for not checking the pockets. I will definitely be checking now. I told her do not put this on me. Items sent to the store and returns should be checked before going on the floor. It is the responsibility of the company to ensure the safety of their products. She said to call back the next day, which I will do but not before contacting corporate. Somewhere either in transit or at the store items are not being checked. What if the pipe was broken or I had put it in the wash with other clothes. Whatever was in or on that pipe would be on our clothes. My intention was to make the store aware so maybe procedures would be changed. Now I am just irritated that a manager was unwilling to take responsibility. Doubt that I will go back to this store. It is sad because I have spent plenty of money at this location.

Ross is one of those stores you not only go to for cheap clothing but also to just happen upon…read morerandom items. I stumble in when I'm bored and just browse. Kind of like what most people do in Target. Staff: Needs a little work but what can you expect? Cheap clothes comes at a price of "you-get-what-you-paid-for" type of service. However they were kind enough to let me know that I forgot my card when I left the store. So stars for that. Also I hate lines. I guess it's at every location but man, Ross really should open more registers. There's always one or two open and a long line. Maybe on down time those cashiers can go and do go backs or clean? Then once there's a line go back to ringing things up. Store: the store can be a little cleaner and organized. Part of it is due to the customers not being considerate. The other part is not having employees (or enough employees) to come out and reorganize things and do go backs. I was looking for a hat and the one I was yes was found hanging on a random rack. Merchandise: As above, I found a hat on a random rack. It was one of two of the kind and I purchased them both for $10 a piece. Good deal. As with any clothing store you have to really look for a good piece but I'd say for me it's a hit or miss if you're trying to look decent. I'd say it's great for casual dress. Sometimes I come across awesome deals at this location. It doesn't have as much variety as the one in Concord or Pleasant Hill.

She refused to tell me the GM/store mgr name or how to reach them. What a joke. Walmart sold a defective icemaker and though their site said I can return online and in store within 30 days of receipt they have refused me both. I am now on the phone 45 min holding for customer care. What a joke. So predatory and capitalistic they could care less about the customer experience and ai am out $300 on a broken item. This was my 1st year back to Walmart after yrs away. I will return to shop small business and stores that actually honor the customer experience and their refund policy. The absolute worst customer experience. Stay away. Its bad enough this location has always been filthy, dangerous, and required security but now I see why customers are so irate at the registers. The cashier manager, Jeanine is a nightmare and the staff can only ne as good or bad as their management. Train your managers to be kind, to listen, to not talk over people, to override crooked/broken systems, to not assume every customer is up to no good or fire them. If you dislike your job and customers, you are in rhe wrong line of work.

When I reached the front, I wasn't greeted at all. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, it's still something I notice. The associate moved my bag to the side and scanned all of my items but didn't place anything into the bag, which I found odd. I looked around and saw other cashiers bagging items as they scanned them for their customers. When she finished, she handed me my receipt and left all of my items sitting there, even though everything easily fit into one bag. I asked if bagging items was no longer part of the process. She responded that they do bag items but said she "has a line," and immediately began ringing up the next customer while bagging their items. I pointed out that bagging is part of the job, but she ignored me. When I asked if she heard me, she said she could bag them, but by then I chose to bag my items myself. It didn't make sense that she used having a line as a reason, especially since bagging items would have kept things moving efficiently. What was more frustrating was that she chose not to bag my items but did so for the very next customer. That felt dismissive and disrespectful. I've shopped at this Target for years and have never had an experience like this. The associate's name was Adrianna. I also spoke with a manager, who mentioned that some customers prefer to bag their own items. However, that explanation doesn't apply when the associate doesn't even ask. The manager also didn't seem particularly apologetic, which is why I'm writing this review. I hope this situation is addressed so other customers don't have a similar experience.

I would like to provide feedback regarding a return experience I had at your store on June 16,…read more2026. On June 6, 2026, I returned an orange dress that I had originally purchased. During that visit, I exchanged it for three dresses, a perfume, and a pair of earrings. When I got home, I tried on the dresses before washing them and found that two of them did not fit properly. The material was uncomfortable and itchy, and the dresses were too tight in the chest area. I decided to keep the perfume, earrings, and one dress, but planned to return the two dresses that did not work for me. On June 16, 2026, I returned to the store to shop and return the two dresses. During the return process, the cashier asked why I was returning them, and I explained that there was nothing wrong with the dresses--they simply did not fit. The cashier then called another employee over to assist. Neither employee was wearing a name tag, so I am unsure of their positions. The second employee asked whether I had worn the dresses, and I explained that I had only tried them on. She then asked where the tags were. I honestly told her that I had not noticed the tags were missing and checked the original bag from my previous transaction. What made me uncomfortable was the way the situation was handled. When I explained that I did not know where the tags were, the employee responded, "That's impossible. What do you mean they didn't have tags? It's not like they're going to magically come off themselves." I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable by the tone and manner in which I was spoken to, especially in front of other customers and employees. I understand that store policies must be followed and that questions may need to be asked regarding returns. However, I believe those questions can be asked professionally and respectfully. I completed the return process and chose not to argue at the time, but I wanted to share this experience because the interaction left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. I hope this feedback can be used to remind employees of the importance of treating customers with courtesy and respect, even when addressing concerns about a return.

Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager, Felicia, was disappointing. When I asked about a pair of shoes with black sticker damage, she wasn't very approachable or helpful. Instead of offering any alternatives, she simply said they don't provide discounts and suggested I take the shoes home, try to clean them myself, and return them if it didn't work. The interaction felt lacking in customer care, especially from a management perspective. I believe there's an opportunity for improvement here, as the level of service didn't match the positive experience I had with the cashier.
