I have always enjoyed going to Burlington especially here....the place is monstrously huge, even for Big Mike...but you can almost guarantee you will find something you will like and at a good cost. We walked away on Saturday with a dress shirt for me, a Yankee candle and set of salt and pepper shakers for under $25....what a deal! While I was at register I had bought $250.00 worth of merchandise and while I was paying I was told they had ran out of bags 2 days ago. I asked oh is there a discount on bags since I have so many at home. They said nope sorry. This is not cool as they should be supplying bags when you purchase items. Everyone in line was upset. I find my self really annoyed with this place...it "used" to be an awesome location clean neat and organized great quality of merchandise....Moving forward to current time What???? Happened???? Staff is harassing. Loss prevention with dreads will do anything to kick you out as quickly as possible and will have his employees follow you around until you're at the registers. I ran in to grab a quick Item that I needed from the pet section, already knowing what I wanted and he sends someone to follow us. Ridiculous. I understand I showed up at 9:50, 10 min prior til closing but that's still not how you treat customers. Not surprising this dump has 2.5 stars. Huge store with so many cool stuff I have to force myself to stop putting things in my cart. One gripe is they're always understaffed which then causes long lines, no one to help organize/clean the sales floor, and no one to assist with customer issues. Luckily they are now hiring nice and friendly cashiers. Plus it's not their fault corporate cuts store budgets. Which seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. read more

I have always wondered how an ant feels in an antfarm andoriig now I do. Burlington is known for its large, spacious collection of coats & more... BUT this one is kinda overwhelming. Originally the store was a decent size but recently they are remodleing it & I got lost REAL quick. The selection is good for coats, house stuff (bedding, towels, curtains) & suits... not too good on everyday clothes... at least for the junior section. I'm sure after the consruction is done it will be better... but you need a lot of patience & time to roam around here. read more

They have limited selection and not organized! We have to go all across the store to find a bench to sit on to wait for our parents to be done shopping! Slow and not enough cashiers. The only pro to this store is that it is big and It is open up late. The bad part to being open up late is that they close the mall side, so we cannot go through the mall if we parked on the other side! I had to walk across the parking lot to Uniqlo late at night! Good thing their was street lights and people that are going to the movie theatres!!! There should be people that would drive us to the parking lot late at night!!! I know this is a discount clothing store but that doesn't excuse the poor costumer service or extremely messy store, to start I tried asking for help finding some dress shirts and aside from some of the staff that just flat out ignored me when I LOUDLY stated can you help me , the only one that actually spoke to me just pointed to a hanging sign and said what does that say nevermind that sign only said men's so that wasn't helpful. But finally I found a shirt at a good price ......aaaaand the cashier at check out had the gull to ask me if I changed the price tags WTF! Really? You priced the shirt then question said price when you bring it to them? At that point i was done. I think the cashier may have called the manager to double check the price but I'm not sure I was out leaving the shirt behind this place is terrible do not come here find a Ross instead they will give you better service. read more

The store was remodeled from when I used to shop here years ago. It is now open and looks really big. The store was really clean and very well stocked. The prices were pretty cheap, and although the line was long it only took about 7 mins to get to a checker. My son found shoes that he liked and I found some things as well. This store should be ASHAMED of themselves. I witnessed a mother sitting on the floor, the FLOOR nursing her baby after begging the attendant for a room to nurse her screaming infant. This rude nasty girl let 3 people in ahead of this lady, so she finally gave up and plopped herself on the floor. Guess they don't know the laws on allowing nursing mothers a room to breastfeed their children. I will NEVER shop here again, and judging by the ratings, they really don't care about customers anyways!!! This is absolutely the worst place ever but then again you're shopping at Burlington Coat Factory I went there and I bought a few pairs of pants/shirts and other things once I got home I tried on the clothes one of the shirts /pants were too big I put them back in the bag with the receipt went there the next morning and they refuse to return it saying it smells first of all I don't smell anything and these items were purchased less than 10 hours ago this seems to be their standard policy a few years back I bought my husband for Christmas a very expensive leather coat and it was too small we went back to exchange it they didn't have his size at first I did not have the receipt they refuse to exchange it then we went home and got the receipt they refuse to exchange it again saying it smells I think that's in their training manual read more

I'm sorry to say but this is one of those department stores you find yourself shopping as a last resort. Seriously thinking how many times I've been to Burlington and I can honestly count the number of visits on one hand and what I bought each time. This goes back to living in West Covina and shopping at Covina location I was determined to buy a navy pea coat and after striking out everywhere, Rosario suggested BCF. Racks of pea coats in traditional navy blue and dark gray. Second visit was a major crisis the night before leaving on a family vacation, we discovered a portion of our luggage had been misplaced or loaned and never brought back. We scored on (2) medium size Samsonite duffle bags and Rosario ended up buying a complete set all at a fraction over retail. Which now leads me to our most recent visit to BCF in Ontario. I got a whistling kettle in red that totally clashed with our kitchen décor. Exchange was a bit slow due to one person on shift but manageable wait time. My reason for 2 stars in mainly because hardly anything is organized and it's very common to find items in other departments and alike. Changing rooms are loaded with clothes that were brought in to try and left behind. Other items are missing hangtags and it seems like there isn't enough staff to ensure things are constantly placed. Single level store with miles of racks and clothes for all genders and ages. Name brand designer labels on just about everything and of course prices in my opinion are below so called "outlet centers" one see's when traveling across the desert. If you have a shoe fetish, definitely come here and save mucho dinero. Expect to find many shoppers looking to save with drastic discounts and long wait time at check out. Large parking to accommodate Ontario Mills shoppers. Conveniently located at 15fwy / I-10fwy intersect. Gift registry and layaway plans offered. This place is absolutely ridiculous .I went their last night at 8 o'clock bought 2 shirts and a pair of pants the shirts/ pants were too big so I took them back this morning with the The receipt and bag they refuse to give me my money back telling me that the clothes were unsaleable because they smelled like smoke nobody in my house smokes. I had the clothes less than 12 hours I am so freaking offended it's not even funny but I guess that's to get when you shop at low end stores.. I love this location and how big it is but it is slow. I waited on a very long line of 8-10 customers with only two clerks at the register and several other employees on the floor just walking around. And one clerk was extremely slow. It was very annoying because it wasn't even that late in the day, I think it was around 11am or at least no later than noon so I'm not sure why it was so busy but none the less it was. The covid greeters are super friendly very polite...with that being said I come to this store every time I'm in town because of the convenience to my brother's house and when traveling you can be sure you forgot something... this store is huge...the toddler and baby selection is totally amazing I could find super cute stuff for him when he was a toddler...as far as the selection for myself and now that he's bigger I'm not impressed( consignment store rejects) I bought several pink shirts two days ago looking for something for a breast cancer month meeting and when I went to return the ones I that just didn't work the lady was like the tag didn't match the number on one of the off-pink shirt made a whole big deal called a manager over...I just looked at her the manager was like is it on the receipt and returned it with no problem. In their home dept, they actually carry this brand of salsa I love, which you'd least suspect in B. Coat Factory, but it's cheaper than at the grocery store. The men's fashion is pretty good. Depending on what your looking for- this place can be mediocre, or great. You best believe this is where I stock up on Coats & Jackets when I'm visiting the East Coast in Winter. SoCal is limited on hardcore jackets- but you can count on Burlington Coat Factory to hook you up. The Shoes/clothes/bedding/ home goods are so so. You can find good deals, but you have to dig. Also, this is located at the Ontario Mills, which can be a zoo, but outside BCF seems to be one of the better places to park at the mall. Oh, and checkout always seems to take forever here. Johnny is an employee at Burlington Ontario Mills and my complaint is towards him. I've been a loyal customer for years and have never in my years at shopping at Burlington have I ever had an issue with an employee or even just shopping retail in general I had a few questions about my interest in a few shirts, pants etc. and he verbally told me he didn't have time to assist me and walked away. I followed him with questions about sizes he turned around and pulled my clothes off my hands than placed them on top of a clothes rack and walked away from me, again. Came in on Saturday to do a return of luggage. I had the tags on both and receipt in hand . Get there explain to cashier I bought these at a different location but wanted to return them for something bigger . Cashier looks at luggage and tells me it has a ding on a corner , I told her that is part of the reason we are returning them . Goes ahead callsfor manager and she gets there only to tell me that No she will not accept them because she would take a loss . I bought a Betsy Johnson purse and it didn't have a tag. A salesperson went to find price and called cashier to give sku of item which was a cosmetic bag. The purse was a good price at $14.99. The next day I decided I didn't want it. When I took it back, the salesperson didn't know what to do. She called the supervisor who used the computer to try to figure it out. She then said the receipt didn't match the purse and she would have to check with loss prevention to look at camera to see if in fact I purchased the purse. This transaction took at least 15 min. Had to go to a funeral and made a quick stop in. I picked up some slacks, shirt and socks. $80! A little shocking. Pretty steep only a days worth of dress clothes. They weren't even the big brand name ones either. On top of that, the pants were a little short in length. When I sat down at the funeral they came up past my socks. Looked like I was wearing shorts. I even bought them two sizes longer and wider since i like them a little loose. For those wondering, No I did not gain weight. Just a really disappointing experience.
