When I entered the store not stepping in the door good enough the associate asked me if I need help looking for something. My response was no thanks not at the moment. The sales associate followed me around from rack to rack pretending to straighten up the clothes. She moved to EVERY rack I went to. My shopping experience was very unpleasant. After she kept noticeably following me I left the store without purchasing anything. After my experience I understand why I was the only customer in the store and the parking lot was empty. I will never return to that store again. I hated being followed like I'm stealing. I then ask, "what is the cost of a shampoo and only blow dry?" she replied, "$65." I asked, "it's $65 for a shampoo and blow dry, no style are the prices online correct?" she replied, "Yes, the prices on the website are for people with thin hair!" I refused services and left. JCPenny's website mentions nothing about a possible upcharge nor anything regarding prices are only for people with thin hair. I was simply being hustled by a JCPenny's stylist. JCPenny should be ashamed for allowing employees hustle clients out of extra money.
