There's always a HUGE checkout line, and I'm not being hyperbolic in saying that it's always an issue; when I went yesterday and there were employees just all standing around the checkout area, talking amongst themselves, with the line backing up to the food area. This place is not off the main street but it is easy to spot from a side street. The parking lot is huge. There is a Starbucks in here. The carts are clean all run smooth. The staff is attentive. The lighting is nice and easy to see everything. All the keep stock items are well stocked and properly placed. The food is more premium and healthy. They have less options than what I am used to. Checking out was much quicker. I got a cashier in less than a minute wait. read more

Never ever ever use Target shipt for same day orders especially if you use your debit card and another form of payment like EBT card they will put an auth hold for whole amount on your debit plus take money off your EBT and it take a whole 30 days to get the difference back because the authorization doesnt expires for month even though they received there full payment which is complete Bullshit!!!. I'm a HUGGGGGGEEEEE Target fan/mom. Though this located is located near several business I frequent on a regular basis it isn't my favorite. The parking lot is very dim at night. Several violent crimes including a MJRDER have happened here in recent times. Inside the store, I have zero complaints. The location is wayyyyyy less crowded than the highway 64 location. read more

I've been to this location on different days and seen the same homeless man who just seems to be there all the time wondering around inside. I don't feel safe bringing my kids here anymore, if you need to go to target I would just go to the other one down the street. This place is more like a Walmart. It seems to always be understaffed, employees are stressed out and overworked. Check out lines are always long even when the rest of the store is not crowded. I tried to get a Nintendo game unlocked one time and when I finally found an employee he told me he wasn't allowed to unlock it and that no one was there working electronics that day. From what I can tell this location just isn't managed well, maybe if they had more people working it would help but I'd rather drive five minutes to the other location. Colonial Target used to be the store I would do the majority of my shopping. Unfortunately, when they did this huge remodel inside, I have discovered there are products that I buy on a regular basis that are not being carried there anymore. The new layout is not conducive to shopping. For many of the clothing areas you can't fit your cart around the display racks. The makeup section no longer has any revlon products. The pet section is much smaller than it used to be. Good luck finding liquid hand soap. I still can't find it. So, I now do most of my shopping at the Target at Poplar and 240 or through Amazon. Whoever thought up this remodel had no idea what they were doing. I hate it! read more

Wow, they've totally revamped this Target! I was sure they were going to close it when they recently opened a new one 3 miles away. The revamp brings the exterior up to date with the current Target store facade. A Starbucks and grocery section will be opening soon. read more

I've been banned from attending Target on my own. Yes, sadly, I am a Target-aholic and don't know when to stop. This store is the freaking devil. It never fails, I'll wander in here for laundry detergent and a birthday card and come out with $150 bucks worth of nonsense. (Nonsense I totally needed. Duh.) Because of the disgusting amount of havoc I can wreak at Target, my husband banned me from going alone or without taking our credit cards away beforehand. Hey, I'm working on it, what can I say? How one could enter Target and not fall in love with almost everything in its doors is beyond me. They have some of the cutest home goods and bed spreads, sheets, purses, jewelry etc. Target is a mecca for a reason kids. It will forever be my favorite store on the planet. I'm going to start with a complaint then go to the good.. I put in my order through the app. When you walk up to the counter there is no way to know what your suppose to do next. They employees just looked at me with a blank expressions on there face. There was not effort in trying to help the customer that is obviously lost. When someone finally helped me she was super sweet and I didn't grab her name. She as quickly and super friendly. It took her less than a minute to find my two bags and I was out the door. Now for the good. I am loving the app and ordering what I need and just walking in, scanning my barcode, and out the door I went! Got to love the technological advancements!! **COVID INFO They were all wearing masks, I saw them cleaning the shopping carts, and they had a hand sanitizing station as you walk in the front doors, 6 ft wasn't being followed but it's a shopping center and you have others that do not follow rules. Do NOT shop at this store. I went in with a valid driver's license and the clerk (IQ far below normal) who was talking on phone to her friends and trying to figure out how to work register and sell me sim cards decided my ID was FAKE, yes, she took my ID and left the area for over 10-15 minutes when I was finally able to get the store manager back to help me out. He said he thought my ID was fake too, then I asked him to verify the authenticity. He did and of course it was valid. Stupid is as stupid does and these people do stupid things. I feel like everyone has "their Target" that is the one Target location he/she likes best. Well, the Target on Colonial is mine! It's never too busy and I don't feel overwhelmed when I shop there because it's not a Super Target (even though this location has a grocery and a pharmacy section). Anyway, it's a convenient East Memphis location, with ample parking, and typically a good selection of items. The customer service at this location is not always the greatest (mostly teenage attitude), but managers Benn and Debbie are quite pleasant, as is the older, more experienced staff. read more

This is the Target I usually go to. I am able to get in and out. It is clean and organized. My husband and I go to mainly do our Shop Kicks! Yes I do Shop Kicks. I did find an awesome deal on boots for my boys, Black Friday so I was winning. I like being able to use red cart as well that gives additional discounts on their products. read more

You know how it is...go into Target for one or two things...leave with an entire roll cart of stuff. Huge parking lot for all the traffic that comes through here...which may be why they are always out of whatever I need. Horrible service. My sister and I went in for an apple connector for her headphones. Since it is locked up on the rack, we needed a key to get it, which none of the employees had. Instead of going to get one, the two girls that were in the electronics section asked another woman if she had one and she "went to the break room to get it." While she was gone, the two girls were messing around and laughing and talking to eachother and totally disregarding my sister and I and making absolutely no effort to find a key. After almost 20 minutes of STANDING there the one girl just ripped the container off the rack and handed it to my sister. Overall just a very irritating experience and I am in impressed at the lack of effort put into finding what we needed. read more

not the biggest target in memphis, but the closest one to the western side of the state. it has your basic necessities, and has a self check out lane, sbux, and the little mini food court thing. just like any other target, these are my fav parts: the $1 (now also included are $3 items) items section at the front entrance, the sale items at the end of aisles (you just have to browse it), recently they had 70% off xmas decor/supplies, so definitely check at your local target after the holiday seasons! This one also has a grocery portion, so you can also get your produce here as you waste more monies on target goodies you dont really NEED. but the groceries are a bit more expensive than your local kroger, so i usually hold out and go to a second location. it has a large parking lot, and is conveniently located near a plethora of other stores as well. read more

Target. 5 stars! DUH!!! It isn't a SUPER Target but it has everything I need. I am giving Target 5 stars for these reasons: 1) The service. They actually have people that worked there and will actually help and great you with a smile when you are the next customer in line. 2) The location. From Midtown it isn't that bad. 3) The Cartwheel App, The Coupons and the Red Card. Saving any dime is crucial to me in this chapter of my life. 4) The products. Target's Threshold brand is awesome!! They carry awesome brands and even their clothes are nice quality. I have found my anniversary dress in here before and received just as many compliments on it as a dress I've bought from Nordstrom. Plus their baby food selection on organic foods are great. 5) Starbucks. Just what a tired mama needs to make it through this trip. 6) Return policy. Nice location, but you do need to remember to hold onto your shopping cart. The parking lot is seriously downhill! Worst Target I've ever visited. So, I went in to find some items for my father's funeral (the following day), as well as to pick up a few groceries while there. I had my daughter with me because she needed some navy dress pants and I wanted her to try them on (I usually just get her size, but Target clothing sizes can be off). Since this was the first time in this location, I asked an employee for assistance. So, I'm roughly 8 feet from her and I say "excuse me" and she turns to look at me like I've just interrupted her day in the worst way. Let me add that she squeezed past me and my daughter twice prior and didn't even acknowledge us. So when she looks at me, my first thought was to ask her "if there is an issue with me saying excuse me", but I thought maybe she is unaware of her body language. I proceeded to ask her where the women dress pants were (with her face unchanged), she responds "down there" while nodding her head past my direction, then she turns back around. I then said "excuse me" (because her directions were unclear) and she looks at me again with disgust and states "down there" while pointing... Very unprofessional!!! She knew I was livid and intentionally tried to hide her name badge. However, I will never forget her face, that horrible wig, or the luggage under her eyes! Despite this, I did encounter friendly and helpful employee's in grocery and during checkout. read more
