Horrible customer service. I was cursed out by an associate because I addressed the vulgar language she was using in front of a child.

I rushed over arriving around 8:15 PM when they have a 9 PM closing time. Due to it being so close to closing, there was only one set of doors that were working. I was politely greeted when I entered the store. There was a handful of guests in the store, wrapping up their purchases and asking questions. I was pleasantly surprised to see that swimwear was right at the entrance so I did not have to anxiously run around looking for the specific department I needed. I was looking for an athletic wear type of swim set (a top and shorts) and Kohl's offers a variety at different price points. They have a cute variety of Nike sets that are a bit on the pricier side. The store was fairly clean for it to be closing time. As I quickly (and maybe frantically due to time) scoured the clearance racks I had no issue locating correct sizes where they should be. Prices were clearly labeled on all items. Signage was easy to identify and navigate. I did try on a few items in the fitting room after gathering a few options. The fitting room was pretty clean. My check out experience was swift. Kohls is definitely a store I sleep on often but I've seen so many deals via email/social media lately I need to put it into my weekend shopping rotation.

Sephora is a third of the other locations. Understaffed ghost town. Shelves are messy, less selection compared to other Kohls. Items were marked wrong. Other Kohl's have similar items on sale and this one was behind. Wouldn't come back.

First and foremost, this store is poorly run, and the store manager ( which I failed to get her…read morename however, I will return to update this post) shows absolutely no concern for its customers. Saks Fifth Avenue has truly gone downhill. This was once a store known for its style, prestige, and elegance, offering high-end products paired with exceptional customer service. Now, the store operates with reduced hours, employs staff who appear unprofessional and poorly presented, and lacks adequate assistance--especially at the cosmetics counters. During my visit, several customers were shocked to be told there was no one available to help them at another cosmetics line. I was equally surprised. The Palm Beach store has already closed, and the Palm Beach Gardens location is expected to close soon as well. Now, to my experience. On November 24, 2025, I purchased a Chanel Sublimage foundation from a Chanel salesperson for $175.00+tax. I admit I was new to the Chanel product line. The salesperson was eager to make the sale but offered minimal explanation, simply stating, "The serum is great," with no further details. At no point did she explain that the Sublimage line is a sheer, serum-based foundation--essentially a tinted moisturizer--nor did she mention any recent changes to the return policy. I returned to the store on January 13, 2026, not seeking a refund, but hoping to exchange the product for one with more coverage. I was told that Chanel changed its return policy this past summer to a strict 30-day window and was asked whether I still had the box. Of course, I did not, as I had no intention of returning the product when I purchased it. I questioned why the box was required, especially since the product had been used and legally could not be resold--at most, it could only be used as a tester, if at all. At that moment, I couldn't help but think that Saks Fifth Avenue must be struggling. The core issue of this review is the self-serving salesperson who prioritized commission over customer care. She failed to disclose the policy change and did not properly explain the nature of the product. When the store manager arrived, there was little empathy and nothing offered beyond a flat refusal to help. When I said, I would be notifying my bank and others plus leave reviews. She said, "Go ahead" and shrugged her shoulders! This is a manager representing Saks Fifth Avenue--someone who allowed a customer to leave dissatisfied, with no intention of returning. Every customer represents revenue, yet this store seems indifferent to losing them. Saks Fifth Avenue was once a place staffed by dedicated professionals who would never allow a customer to leave unhappy. The sales teams used to prioritize long-term relationships, not short-term commissions. Today, the individuals employed appear classless, tasteless, and entirely disconnected from the fundamentals of customer service and business. One has to wonder who is responsible for hiring them. That is why I am writing this review--to warn others. Do not waste your money. The service industry at this once high-end store is effectively gone. Ironically, you will receive better customer service from Amazon, a company that never turns its back on its customers. This review is only my first step. If necessary, I will escalate this further
