This was a pretty good Macy's. My only negative was that they have removed their directories, so we had to wander a bit to ask someone what floor to go to and where on that floor was a particular department. They had a lot of merchandise from which to choose plus a large "last chance" section. They run sales often -- so if you time it right, you can get a good deal. I'd been looking for an additional bathing suit and hoped to take advantage of their current sale. Depending on the brand you chose, the discount varied. Unfortunately I didn't find anything I liked. I did wind up trying on some other items. And I found a dressy top on sale that I loved and was too inexpensive to pass up. Good to know they're doing well at this mall. Outstanding Service -- Winston and Delilah Deserve All the Stars! It was my son's 15th birthday, and of course he waited until the last minute to choose his gift -- the Armani Stronger With You Intensely box set. I found one listed at this location for $89.95, called ahead, and the team kindly reserved it for me. After driving about 30 minutes, I arrived only to find out the set couldn't be located. That's when Winston stepped in -- calm, professional, and truly dedicated. He checked the system and confirmed there were no box sets available anywhere in the state. I was understandably stressed after the drive, but Winston didn't give up. He spoke with the manager, Delilah, who came out personally to assist me. She was professional, courteous, and determined to help. After confirming the stock issue, she asked if my son might like another option. I called him, and he agreed to try the YSL instead. While chatting with Winston about sports and colognes like old friends, Delilah came back with good news -- she'd found a smaller gift set at a great price thanks to an active sale. Problem solved! I was also impressed that at least four other associates checked in to see if I needed help. The entire team showed professionalism, teamwork, and genuine care. Winston and Delilah were the real MVPs -- they went above and beyond to turn a frustrating moment into a positive experience. My son is happy, and so am I. This is the only place around that still has my PortMarion botanical garden dishes and glasses. It's also the place that has Waterford gifts reduced 30% and I can't find better prices anywhere. I liked this Macy's a lot and I had a great experience. I decided to go to Wellington because the crime rate is at an all time high at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton, per a friend who is a Boca police officer. Anyway, this store is nicely organized and I found it to be clean. I didn't use the ladies room or the fitting room so I can't comment on those areas. It was difficult finding an associate to help me as they appeared to be short staffed, like the rest of the world is these days. However, once I found someone, she was a great help, which I appreciated. The Lancome counter was busy but the lady behind the counter was very nice, frantically busy but still friendly & helpful. I don't enjoy shopping but I do love getting new makeup! I parked in the Macy's parking lot & when I got into the store, I was on the second floor which I was happy about. Bath and Body Works is also on the 2nd floor of the mall & that store will always make me happy. Macy's is a great place to buy nice items at an affordable price & they usually have pretty good sales too. read more

I needed a 'wardrobe update' and went shopping at Macy's. I've been a Macy's fan for over 45 years and enjoyed my many diverse purchases from them. I went online to see what kind of selection they had in mens' suits & sport coats, and dress slacks. The variety, manufacturers, styles, fabrics, sizes, etc. were quite impressive. However, I had no idea what size jacket I wore anymore, but my pants were 32" x 30" (I've lost a total of 132 lbs. over the past 3-years). So instead of completing my online order I drove to my nearest Macy's in the Wellington Mall. I was very disappointed that the store didn't carry any of the suits & sport coats, or dress slacks I was interested in (the trip wasn't a total loss, as I did find out I wore a 42 Regular jacket). Returning home I placed my order. Four days later my clothes arrived. They were put into plastic bags before they were boxed, resulting in no wrinkles! I just returned from having some minor alterations done (jacket sleeves shortened) and must say they look fantastic! Now... if I only had someplace to wear them. read more

I am a well-off senior citizen. I applied for the Macy's Amex card and was approved instantly. To get a 30% discount, I was connected to a live agent who spent nearly one hour verifying me, repeatedly asking the same question. Within seconds after placing the order, Macy's cancelled the order. It was repeated two additional times, spending an hour with a live agent (as I did not have the physical card), who placed the order, and the order was instantly cancelled. After the third time, Macy's said they can no longer place the order for me, and I should use another card but without the 30% discount, The whole idea was to use a new card and get the discount. I pray Macy's goes by the way of the dodo bird. read more

There's a lot to choose from- though I didn't find anything. One thing to note are the hours. They close at 9 pm but the rest is the mall closes at 8 pm. So you need to make sure your car is outside of Macy's so you can walk straight out to your car. They close the mall doors for safety sake. I was glad ai knew that in advance. All kinds of clothes here- I was looking for a dress to wear to my son's bar mitzvah and didn't see any- but they have a lot to choose from. The escalator wasn't working to go downstairs so I had to go to an elevator. This happens a lot these days and I don't know if it's on purpose or not. read more

I have been saying since my first review 4 years ago how hot it is in the store and dressing rooms. I mentioned it to the cashier as I was checking out and she said she always tells her manager. But I just walked outside and it's 78 degrees out here and it's cooler outside than in the dressing rooms and store. I really like a lot of aspects of Macys but this store would surely do better if it was cooler. You would've thought we were bothering her when she was in the middle of Black Friday. If you're going to have an attitude or don't enjoy your job then maybe it's time to get a new one. This Macy's is located in the Wellington green mall. It blasts cold AC and is very clean. They have a large selection of kids clothing and adult clothing. The often have sales that give you major discounts. I often buy my daughters their shoes here as well. read more

Don't be scammed by Worry No More furniture insurance...if you need something done they will find reasons that worry no more doesn't cover it...when you purchase the insurance, the premise is if you never use it, you can get a credit voucher after an allotted time and purchase something from the store. Sounds pretty good...well, NO!! And here's the big scam!! It can only be used for items that ship directly from Macy's, not directly shipped from other vendors, which by the way, is 99.9% of every product on their site!! ...and you must pay shipping charges and the entire purchase is put on your credit card, and somehow and whenever that credit voucher is credited to your purchase..why aren't they applying the credited voucher they provide you with the voucher number to the purchase?? So basically, there isn't anything to use this voucher on...oh AND it can only be used on rugs, mattresses, and furniture...not home goods, or home items...Wish I knew it was all scam before I wasted my money... read more

Overall it's a nice looking Macy's. I was near the area of Wellington mall so I decided to go to this location. They seemed a bit understaffed for being a weekend. I really hope Macy's at this location gets better because a lot of people go to Wellington Mall in PBC and this might be one of the best department store options. Macy's does have great inventory in clothing, make up company's and shoes. You can find items for anyone in your family or gifts. I usually find something even if I'm not looking for anything. Still my go to place for gift cards because many people do wedding registry options here. End result, I'll still be shopping here again but wish they would get a handle on the fitting room situation being so messy and also with being so understaffed.~ read more

I would really like to give it 5 stars in terms of products and promotions. Unfortunately the worst customer service you can get. Macy's employees are not well selected nor trained to be customer service oriented with some exceptions of course. I would say 40% of them are rude and impolite. I have been shopping from macys for a very long time and I have noticed that some of the worst employees are in certain departments. I see people complaining about the associates and I have seen myself how rude they are when they "order" you in a very bad manner to bring the clothes in their hungers from the fitting room, how ignorant they are when you adress a question and how miserable they look behind those registers. If you don't like you job leave it to others who really need it and will be good fit to it I remember an incident that happened to me a couple years ago: I found some nice robe for $100 so I decided to get all of them gifts. At the register the cashier was so amazed and she loved them for the price and she said that she is gonna get some for herself and she told her co-workers who went to get them but they couldn't find the sizes they needed then they decided to tell me that they cannot give me the robes for that price because it looks like its a mistake in the pricing and the cashier stopped the transaction when I was about to pay then I asked for a floor manager. They went and spoke to her. At the beginning she was trying to fool me too then when she saw how aware I am she asked them to finish the transaction. They were really soo mad and rude.. It will be so great if macys carefully selects its employees as it does carefully select its products. May be having secret shoppers visiting all departments and dealing especially with those employees who had been complained about. read more

I'm 34 year old female who's been doing the shopping thing my entire life. I grew up where the mall was the cool place to go with all your girlfriends and now that I'm older shopping online is really the thing to do. It's easier, painless and you'll always find coupons on saving on your purchases a lot easier. I moved to Wellington before there was a Wellington Mall and even before there was much. Macy's was always my favorite store. This past Friday night I go out with my girlfriend to do some shopping and just like anybody else we kind a buy things because your girlfriend says how amazing it is on you. Unfortunately, that happened to me and I go home and realize the price just didn't seem worth it. We went to the Macy's at the PGA mall. Everybody has always been super friendly and helpful and I'm a big fan of that mall even though half the stores i can't afford. I decided to go to the Macy's at the Wellington mall to return the dress because I was in that area and there was a few stores I wanted to check out. It was pretty busy when I walked inside Macy's and ended up towards the women's section close to the entrance of the mall and found 2 Women standing at a register with nothing going on. With the snotty looks on their faces, I honestly should've just walked away. I put the dress on the counter and told them that I just wanted to return it because I changed my mind. The lady with her snotty attitude told me that I already wore this and you can't return it because it was dirty. First of all, it's a dark navy blue dress that had my deodorant on it. Putting the dress on in the dressing room can get your deodorant on it doesn't mean it's dirty. I literally bought it the night before when the store was closing and we were rushing to try clothes on and I didn't notice. They got somebody else to give their opinion and she told me that it was dirty and that no I didn't buy it that way. If I go into a dressing room and try on a bunch of clothes and every piece of clothing ended up with deodorant on it, doesn't make it dirty. If the next person tried it on and decides to buy it with the deodorant stain, because all you need to do is put a little bit of water to remove it, are you automatically going to accuse her that it was her deodorant and that she was the one who did that? Only an ass hole would. This is customer service and when did it stop with "the customer is always right" to never right !!?? They were acting like complete assholes and that's what I called them. I stormed off, went to the bathroom and put a little water on the deodorant stain that instantly came out. I went to another register and the lady said it was not dirty and returned it for me. I let her know what happened and she told me she didn't want to know. Whatever, just give me back my money. Let me point out to bitter women who obviously haven't done much with their lives, shopping at stores have become the thing of the past and everything is being done online. So why don't you make this experience a lot more pleasant because pretty soon I guarantee you'll be looking for another job. Retail is practically dead. It's sad and I wish it wasn't true but people don't want to deal with the BS. Those females are part of the problem. I know they make hourly and commission. They should really go home and watch Pretty Woman. This was my horrible experience at Macy's yesterday. Overall I got my refund and I was so close to going up to them and slamming that return receipt on the table and telling them to go F off but I honestly had better things to do. The end! read more

Wow Macys has sure gone way down hill. I went to buy some small appliances and nothing has prices on it. When I asked the salesperson for a price i was told I had to take the item off the shelf and scan it myself. Really?? I then asked another salesperson to scan the item from the shelf and she advised they are not given any scanners. Then she and I pulled an air fryer/toaster oven off the top shelf. why doesnt Macys have prices posted? Why arent their sales people provided scanners? Overall this Macy's has great service, quality items for affordable prices-especially if you are a Macy's credit card holder. I have been 6 times in the past 2 months and have had very polite, pleasant and helpful associates assist me. They always ask if I need help with locating anything. I take away one star because on two occasions I found myself looking for an associate to ring me up. In the first situation the associate in that area was being asked a lot of questions by a customer and there was no other associate that I could locate. The second situation it was ten till closing time and only one associate ringing up the entire clothing section which is very large. I walked around until I located that associate. I was in Macy's today, ( Wellington), the store was very busy. My sister (from out of state) and I were looking for something specific. Apparently, we looked as if we needed help too, a woman came up and asked if she could help? Her name is Nancy and she was extremely helpful, pleasant and made us feel like we were the only people in the store. We were shopping in women's clothing and she knew where everything was, stayed calm and helped us without, ever making us feel rushed. Nancy was amazing and a GREAT asset. After we were finished and checked out, we come to discover that Nancy worked a cashier's station in Housewares. Thank you Nancy and thank you Macy's for hiring Nancy. read more

Clothes are what you would find in JCPenney or a cheaper department store but way more expensive. Their "higher end" stuff is typical of other department stores or shops in the mall. Macy's changed their billing cycle in October 2015. I have my bill paid in full each month through electronic funds transfer. I contacted customer service to inquire if any action was required, on my part, to ensure I would not receive finance charges or late fees. I was informed that it was all taken care of and I would not be late with my payments or receive any finance charges. My October bill shows I am late and have finance charges, because my bill was not paid. I call again to inquire as to the problem and request the charges be reversed and the account corrected. Again, I was assured it was corrected. My November bill has the same problems, requiring yet another call and 20-30 minute wait on hold to "fix the problem." December's bill, the same problem and phone call. Now January's bill with the same problem, so this time when I call I immediately ask to speak to a manager in customer service, seeing as how the first 4 times this could not be fixed by a Representative. I am placed on hold for 25 minutes before I just hang up. I cannot keep spending 30-45 minutes per month on fixing my account. I have never seen such inept customer service and complete disregard for their customers. I will never shop in another Macy's. BUYERS BEWARE! read more

This store will do in a pinch but it is a sad Macy's. It's cluttered and unorganized. There are too few registers open and the staff is inconsistent. There are a few employees that are nice, professional and helpful, the rest stink! The MAC counter is always inundated with leeches getting their makeup done that will NEVER purchase a darn thing, leaving me the consumer to wait forever. There is no Miss Me collection (FYI Dillard's has a ton). The revamped lingerie section leaves a lot to be desired. The shoe department is a hot mess. While I was waiting in line, I actually had another patron interrupt the salesperson at the register from checking out the customer in front of me then the woman took my shoes off the counter and tried them on and the salesperson (which happens to be the same one that had my shoes brought up to the register in the first place so she knew they were mine) said nothing to her about it and continued to BS with her in their native tongue while we all waited. The woman upstairs in the "women's" department was "SO TIRED" she told me. So tired that she forgot to take off the security tag and did not offer me the coupon discount. Thank you, other sales clerk, who did both for me after I purchased something else and found the tags. Poor customer's service. No one is ever around to help. Just worried about commissions.
