While they were out of stock of the popular NeeDoh brand, they did have dumplings and a variety of other squishies. I was impressed with the selection and quantity of squishies compared to other stores. They also had several other toys and a make your own slime bar with beads and jewels to add. It's a cool little shop for kids but it was very crowded. Also, the lines to check out were a bit confusing as some families were in line only to look at the products they were passing out behind the register & were not ready to check out. Overall, my daughter walked out with 3 new squishies and was a happy camper.

I even told the nice lady at the front who helped me bring my boxes in. This location stands out as it's super clean and organized. The clothes are nice picks as well and priced super well. They had a lot of items for sale, in addition to clothes, there were toys, a whole section of books, and things like larger items like baby swings, baby baths, various types of baby seating. Nothing high end, pretty basic stuff which is fine. Only thing was that the amount of girls clothes was like 75% of the clothing racks with wayyyyy less for boys. But I guess that's how it goes lol. The pricing was based on the value of the items, like a kate Quinn onsie was $12 versus something like carters or target, which went for a few bucks. Apparently the phone number associated with the yelp listing doesn't work, otherwise, I'd have called to find out how their consigning works, so I can't speak to that but I'd imagine it's similar to Plato's closet type thing.

The staff was super nice and accommodating as well. Love and appreciation for Pokemon spans over generations and this is truly a shop where kids and millennial adults alike can find something to take home. Not into Pokemon but your children are? Beautiful layout with themed decor for every occasion you may be pondering. This location is behind the Garden's Mall in Palm Beach Gardens. There is street parking as well as a covered garage. There is a clearance table in the rear of the room... I bought from the main items in the store and scored some napkins and plates for our impromptu soiree. Some items are pretty pricey but you are in an area that 'in theory' can afford the cost. I found the customer service to be fine... but I am also engaging when I walk into a store where people might treat me suspiciously. Which I will point out didn't happen here. Respectfully Reviewed.

There are now 10 Swoozie's locations including this one in Palm Beach Gardens. The store is well organized and has a lot of great gifts items, wrapping, greeting cards and stationary. Everything is invitingly displayed. I love their sweet Halloween decorations and they had an extensive selection of my favorite Scout bags. They had a Florida themed Scout bag that I had never seen before and fell in love with and honestly may have to go back for. They also carry games, children's items, home decor, and kitchen items. The inventory is brand name and can be very pricey. I was interested in a pillow featuring my daughter's college UCF and it was over $200! A decorative dish towel was a more affordable $15.They had many items I have not seen elsewhere and it was fun to explore this store with my girlfriends.

I went there just to browse with my daughter and see if there was anything that caught my eye, we had a nice time doing that the store was clean, and the staff really were in the zone helping people who actually have questions, but they were always present and always moving about so I did feel that if I needed anything, someone was immediately available for me to ask. This is my go to Barnes & Noble because the newest one Tequesta is kind of far but if you have the opportunity check that one out. The layout is totally different and it's a little bit brighter and the staff is a bit more interactive I think because of the newness. Barnes & Noble always has sales. They had plenty of books that were 30% off and buy one get one. And if you become a member, there's a lot of Parks for that too. I think you get 10 or 20% off every purchase. I get mine from being a teacher. I'm sure they have other discount discounts for people who work in other areas. All in all, I appreciate mainly that when I'm there I can use a Barnes & Noble gift card in the coffee shop as well as to purchase books I included photos of some of my favorites attached to this review. Short story: Extremely uncomfortable, and employee was unhelpful. Walked in and only employee was…read moresleeping on a recliner with a dog next to him. Walked out a few minutes later after yelling at said employee for literally hitting another dog and yanking it by its leash to hit it further. Long story: I walked into Excelsior looking for a comic book on the way to run some errands. Once I stepped foot into the store I noticed a man sleeping on a recliner, with a dog sitting next to him (a small black and white mixed Chihuahua). The man (employee/manager?) acknowledged me by opening his eyes, and then closed them again to seemingly go back to sleep. After looking at the wall for the specific comic (Captain America Steve Rogers #3), I suddenly heard and then saw another dog barking (a grey and white Chihuahua) behind me. Not bothered by it, but confused why the man wasn't doing anything to stop it, I continued browsing the wall. I turned around in the direction of the dog barking once I heard the man stand up and suddenly grab the dog. Thinking it was more of a gesture to put him in a cage to calm down, I thought nothing of it. I asked him if he had the comic I was looking for and suddenly I heard yelping and the sound of the man smacking the dog. Even worse, the dog had already stopped barking long ago, and the man continued to smack the dog. I began walking in the direction of the man to confirm my suspicions when suddenly I heard a smack and then a snarl from the dog. The man had just gotten bit. He pulled his hand back and went to smack with the other when I called out and asked him, "what's going on". He froze, mumbled something incoherent under his breath, and at that point the first dog that was sitting next to him on the recliner began to bark as well. He lifted his hand and started smacking the dog on the recliner as well. He told me, "He just copies what the other does..." He then told me to pick up his iPhone that had fallen on the floor and hand it to him (a call was coming through). He answered and began mumbling greetings that even I being two feet away could barely understand. At this point I was ready to leave but I was frozen in a state of being uncomfortable and scared for the dogs. I tried talking to the man further, and realized he wasn't even responding to me anymore. I walked out, with no intention to ever return.

Any comic book store that has as much enthusiasm for Aquaman as this place deserves my…read morerecommendation. My girlfriend and I walked in on a whim during their grand opening. Unbeknownst to myself, they had a sale on Aquaman ("You know you love his trident," the billboard outside read), so I ended up grabbing two TPBs. The owner was super friendly and outgoing, telling me how much he personally enjoyed reading one of the volumes I was purchasing. I always try to spot board games when I go into comic book stores -- something this place doesn't have, but it's still a great source for comics in Lake Worth that I'm very excited about. Plus, you gotta love a name like "Excelsior!"
