I rushed over arriving around 8:15 PM when they have a 9 PM closing time. Due to it being so close to closing, there was only one set of doors that were working. I was politely greeted when I entered the store. There was a handful of guests in the store, wrapping up their purchases and asking questions. I was pleasantly surprised to see that swimwear was right at the entrance so I did not have to anxiously run around looking for the specific department I needed. I was looking for an athletic wear type of swim set (a top and shorts) and Kohl's offers a variety at different price points. They have a cute variety of Nike sets that are a bit on the pricier side. The store was fairly clean for it to be closing time. As I quickly (and maybe frantically due to time) scoured the clearance racks I had no issue locating correct sizes where they should be. Prices were clearly labeled on all items. Signage was easy to identify and navigate. I did try on a few items in the fitting room after gathering a few options. The fitting room was pretty clean. My check out experience was swift. Kohls is definitely a store I sleep on often but I've seen so many deals via email/social media lately I need to put it into my weekend shopping rotation.

Sephora is a third of the other locations. Understaffed ghost town. Shelves are messy, less selection compared to other Kohls. Items were marked wrong. Other Kohl's have similar items on sale and this one was behind. Wouldn't come back.

The young man who assisted me was very kind and he was honoring his grandmother with a necklace that contained a photo of her. This touched my heart. I don't love the parking lot at this location when shopping inside but I've always been able to purchase what I need here so I'm giving it 4 stars. If you're looking for better aesthetics then head to Jupiter but heads up they're knee deep in a remodel and it is a S-show!

As you could read from my previous reviews, my car had only been serviced by Chev dealers. Being that the Chev on Northlake service dept don't answer or return their calls and Mike Maroone is complete utter trash, I came to Walmart for an oil change. A couple of the service employees were pretty cool, we chopped it up. They made a few jokes. I really hate Walmart so I didn't venture into the store and just waited. Car ready...drive home. Park and my car gave me a warning message about the oil. I was like Lord, this is what I get for not going to Chevrolet? later that night I drove down the block for dinner and got a message that my car didn't have any oil. WTF It was drama getting someone cause they didn't answer the phone in the auto dept when I called the next day. I had to call another Walmart auto, whose manager called the manager of the store that serviced me. He eventually called me and told me to get my car towed back to them and they would reimburse me. Got there; mgr said dude didn't put enough oil in my car (he said he checked the camera). I'm like it had to be pretty damn low for my car to say add oil. He and a worker looked at my car with me standing with them. They did their thing. All professional, at this point, I am thinking, as much as I hate Mike Maroone, ima give Walmart another chance cause they were all cool and the mgr handled it appropriately. Until.... I was leaving and 10 minutes down the road, he called to ask me if they left some keys in my car. I was like I don't see any. Hung up and he called again for me to check. I said ok let me pull over. Chile why were those damn keys sitting under my hood. It was at this point, nail in the coffin for future service. So yes they refunded my tow, were all pretty cool, but if you can't get me right without avoidable mistakes like this, can't risk it. Deep sigh...

The door was locked even though it was during business hours, but the owner -- I believe her name is Maria -- unlocked it and let me in. I was carrying several items to consign, as her daughter, Jasmine had advised me last week to bring them in Monday through Thursday during regular hours. When I explained why I was there, she abruptly responded, "We're not taking any consignments," in a harsh, dismissive tone. I calmly replied that I would no longer be coming there, which is entirely my prerogative. Last year, I brought in a large amount of costume jewelry that she made a significant profit from. Even then, items that didn't sell were not returned, but I let it go. Still, I expected basic respect today. Instead, after my polite comment, she called me an "idiot" and began screaming -- loudly -- that she had just been robbed of $20,000 worth of high-end merchandise. While I understand she was upset, her behavior toward me was shocking and completely unprovoked. I never saw it coming. To make matters worse, she had locked the door behind me again. When I tried to leave, she unlocked it and pushed it open with attitude, holding out her hand in a gesture that made it clear she was throwing me out of the store. I have no idea what I did to deserve that treatment. What I do know is that I will never return, and no one should have to be treated that way. The owner's behavior was unprofessional, UNSTABLE, and entirely unacceptable. I thought the public should know.

I have definitely stopped to eat at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, Gelato Grotto, and Five Guys before. And the Nicklaus Children's Urgent Care is awesome. Parking is mostly ok, simply because nothing is ever too crowded. The free parking garage behind the urgent care is easy to use and pretty empty. However, the 3 big box stores I mentioned above are nowhere near each other, so I drive from store to store. The Plaza is unfriendly to foot traffic, has zero common public spaces, and is poorly laid out with terrible signage. The layout is truly beyond frustrating: no clear entrances or exits, strange parking layouts that block access to the few buildings that are connected to the inner strip, several fake exits that dump into rental complexes instead of roads. I attended a holiday event recently at Legacy Place. It sounded fun in theory, but I couldn't fathom where it would take place, given the lack of common public space. The event was one of the worst I have ever attended. My children and I walked into the area, took a look around, and turned right around to leave; it was that bad! They blocked off part of a parking lot next to Pet Smart. A woman in a sparkly leotard was 'performing' in suspended aerial silks, except she fumbled her movements while we watched and then just moved very slowly from pose to pose, very awkwardly. Meanwhile, adults dressed up in Christmas costumes stood in the parking lot and watched. There was no holiday decor, no games or crafts for kids, no food or drink samples, just a lot of empty blacktop and unenthusiastic performers in a depressing setting. It is sad to see all the empty stores here now. I hope they can find a way to rejuvenate this space for the better (ala CityPlace to Rosemary Square!), increase signage to help navigation, dedicate part of the plaza to public space and programming, create appealing walking paths, and bring in non-profits and artists to use empty spaces and bring appeal to these spaces while waiting for long term rentals.
