Baby girl and I stopped in here to check out some stuff. The store is big but the parking lot is sort of messy but it was fine lol. We went to look for some school stuff before school starts. They have a lot of clothes for kids and adults but they were sort of out of a lot of things. But did find baby girl a really cute cat sweater and a blanket she wanted. I do like coming to this store they have some cute stuff I didn't find anything this time but I love the household stuff they sell here too. This store is not very organized so for me not easy to shop around but it was still nice and clean and big. The lady who ran us up was really friendly and sweet with a smile I wish I got her name but thank you so much. It's a busy parking lot with Trader Joe's, Tommy's burger and some other stores around. This location was ok. They had plenty of stock of items, but nothing really good that I liked. The service was ok and the bargains are exceptional. While I was there someone stole items and ran out of the store. Easy parking located in front of store. I did not like that you could not use the restroom. read more

Came here last night around 930pm for the first time. Located in a corner shopping mall surrounded by a Trader Joes, and a CVS. First of all this place is HUGE. Compared to Ross across the street, way bigger, more selection of items. HUGE!!! Anyway, the store itself was very clean, only thing i didnt like was the selections for mens clothes, or should i say the organization of it. Otherwise, pretty good. read more

This was my second trip to a Burlington in a span of a week because I had a few returns that I needed to make. I am actually not much of a Burlington shopper, so two visits in a week makes almost a lifetime of shopping at Burlington. I had originally made my purchases at a different Burlington location, but since this location was on my errands route, due to the Trader Joe's location next door, it was just easier to come here for a return. There is plenty of parking and it seems that all Burlington locations "control" the amount of customers in the store. Security allows each customer in, there is no open entryway. There was only one other customer ahead of me and I was helped out quickly after them. The cashier was very kind and professional. Returns were easy peasy and I was soon out of the store, and on my way for the rest of my errands. read more

I love going to Burlington! I would go weekly to buy things i need at the one in Upland. I recently moved to Whittier. I was excited to go to this store but I first had to return a carpet that I had purchased in another Burlington. The Person at the cash register was extremely RUDE. She continued to scold me because the carpet didn't have the price tag (it somehow fell and i had no idea what happened to it). I had the receipt though and the card that I used to purchase it. She was so condescending for no reason. I don't recall if she was a supervisor but she acted like the $20 was coming out of her paycheck. The interaction made me not want to go back. I do want to go back but only to get her name to add it here because she needs to learn how to properly treat customers. She was an older hispanic lady (chunky). Don't let the name deceive you. They carry pretty much all household items like the other major discount retailers. They even have art supplies, beauty products, toys, oral hygiene products, batteries, medicine, and polarized sunglasses. Unfortunately, the fitting rooms were closed at the time. The last time I was inside a Burlington Coat Factory, it smelled so musky and stuffy inside that I swore I would never return. But, this location is extremely spaced out. A plus is that the restrooms are relatively clean, compared to somewhere like Ross or TJ Maxx. I'm glad I finally decided to enter and see what they have. It's empty on a weekday morning, so you can shop freely. read more

She was helping a person in front of me with light on so I walked up to register as next person in line and she saw me, walked away while I was in line with my 10 month old baby and 1 pair of hangers. Ignored me at the register until I called her out. She could have checked out a waiting costumer and got to her go backs later. I asked the lady if she was the manager and she said yes. I went into the Burlington Coat Factory 2101 Imperial HWY, Unit B, La Habra, CA on 11/10/2025 around 6pm. I was let in by the Security Guard at the front. I asked where the Section was that had bedding and mattress covers. He pointed me to the HOME section. I went to that section and looked at the items there. I was looking for Cotton Fabric pillows and Cotton fabric sheets...and they didn't really have a selection. It was mostly polyester/microplastic harboring bedding materials or Christmas themed Flannel...Not seeing what I was looking for I went back to the entrance of the store. The Security Guard who had let me in was at that time letting another lady into the store. I asked him if I could go out that way and he looked at me. From his behavior he physically said no and closed the Entrance sides Stanchion rope. He then walked over to the center of the Stanchion rope on the exit side. He then stood in front of me and did not open the Exit Stanchion rope for me to leave. He instead asked to see inside of my bag. Which is my purse. I said no that it is illegal in the state of CA and the US to ask to do that without a warrant or probable cause. And even then I asked him to please call a policeman to come to the scene because what this security guard had asked was for an illegal search. He said no to calling the policeman and continued to not open the Stanchion for me to leave. I did call the police after the incident she said that they are not legally allowed to hold me inside the store or touch me...In not opening the Stanchion for me to pass by, and standing directly in front of me I was blocked from leaving. Which is technically illegally holding someone against their will... Next I spoke with the Supervisor. As soon as the Supervisor walked over the Security Guard opened the Rope of the Stanchion. In speaking with this manager she disclosed it's Burlington Coat Factory's policies that say the security guard can do what he did. I asked her to provide me with the written policy where it says their Security guard can ask to see inside someone's bag. She said she couldn't. She proceeded to tell me that she had a long line of people to get back to. I said I didn't care about the long line. That I cared that they were doing something illegal in their store. And asked for her to call a policeman so that we could settle this and I could make my formal complaint against this store. She then went on to tell me that she couldn't do that that I would have to contact the police on my own and also corporate about my complaint. And that I could leave. I requested again for the policy to be handed to me where it says their Security Guard is allowed to ask to see inside of someone's bag. She then went straight to asking me if the Security guard had placed his hands on me or forcibly tried to see inside my bag. I responded no. And she said then you can go. I said that I wanted to see the policy again in fine print. She said I'd have to look it up on Burlington Coat Factory's website and that that Security Guard is new. "He's new unfortunately." And that I could go. I could tell the Supervisor was there to defend the company. I will just highlight one last time that in my refusal to show the security guard inside my bag he did not open the Exit Rope Stanchion to allow me passage out of the store. It took my request for the Supervisor and her showing up several minutes later for the Security Guard to open the Stanchion. And the Supervisor saying I could go after talking to me for several minutes. So, there's something about that action that does make me call out being bared from exiting the building after refusing to show the security guard the inside of my purse. Which is illegal to do Burlington Coat Factory. I know this because I did contact law enforcement after this event. And they let me know that a citizen is allowed to refuse showing the inside of their bag to a company and that they legally need to be allowed passage way out of that company's building. The Security Guard didn't open the Stanchion for me to leave the building after I expressed wanting to exit. He instead blocked my exit by physically standing in front of me and didn't open the Stanchion rope after I refused to show him the inside of my purse. Therefore I was illegally blocked for several minutes from exiting Burlington Coat Factory. Putting this here because this business\location isn't registered on the BBB website. read more

Stopped here yesterday 11/9/22. The girl who helped me at the register (named Andrea) was distracted talking to another employee the whole time and failed to realize that she left a sensor. When I walked out, the alarm went off and the security guard told me "You're good" but I stopped at the bench to pull everything out of my bag to find it but didn't find one on any of the items I had. Next day comes and my son is putting on his new pants and tells me there's something in the pocket. The sensor was there, apart. He could've gotten badly hurt. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Also, what is the point of putting on sensors if the security is just going to tell me "I'm good" when the alarm goes off? Come on Burlington, get it together!! read more

JACKIE is a life saver !! My dad has been in severe pain for weeks & on 12.12.23 at 11:45p 15 mins before they closed I went in asking for help I was looking for a heating pad & massage gun . Terrible customer service, we were standing waiting to get rung out while the cashier April was literally texting on her phone. She never looked up and said wait while she's swiping and texting for a good 5 mins while we are standing in front of her. We were so irritated that we ended up just leaving things at the register and walking away. Cashier didn't provide us with any respect and/or assistance during a check out process. She was simply talking over the phone. We spent there about 5 minutes because of that and took all items in our hands because her hands were busy to put them in the bag. Plus this store has no stock on the shelves. They don't even greet you when you walk in the store. The employees look miserable, as if they hate their job. The store is in disarray. It doesn't seem to be a good work environment. I can see why the turnover is so extremely high. read more

We went to look for some grinch stuff and as soon as we walked on we noticed a guy following us. I'm always aware of my surroundings. I told my daughter to keep an eye. All thru the store we were being followed. When it was time to pay we saw the guy infront of us pretending to grab an item and it turns out it was loss prevention. That was so annoying and funny. I never steal but apparently I look like I do. We were targeted from the moment we walked in. I will never be going to that store again. Once the guy was near I said It loud. Zero stars. My adult son was asked to leave because they didn't like the way he looked at an employee. My son consistently wears his mask so, they didn't like his eyes? Or his long hair? Or was it his brown skin? No explanation given. My son enjoyed stopping after work to unwind and shop. Dirty nothing in the store. BUT they finally have a dressing room. I found an awesome pair of shoes for formal dance. They were on clearance for five dollars and they would not sell them to me because they were recalled I argued with them and why is a pair of flat shoes with three straps recalled so I couldn't buy them went back the next day and both pairs are back on the shelf. Try to buy them again from a different person and same thing they're recalled, so why are they on the shelf? read more

I've only discovered Burlington in the last couple of years. I think the name "Burlington Coat Factory," had something to do with it; I live in Southern California and almost never need a coat, but then I moved to Orange County and popped into one on my way to the Dollar Tree next door. Wow! So many great deals. But this one, I'm sad to say, left me disappointed. I won't give it a bad review though, because probably the reason it's only half-stocked is the lockdown. Probably. I don't really know. This is a huge store and it's clean, and it was sufficiently staffed, but there was only one pan in the place (I need a new one), and so many of the shelves and racks are just bare. I will update this review the next time I visit. read more

I found an item for my toddler a unicorn chair had a stain and the bottom of the chair was really dirty. So when I went to check out I asked the associate name Autumn wore glasses. if I would be able to get a discount due to the stain and dirty at the bottom of the chair. So she asked another associate. They were secretly talking and the associate came back and told me they would give me 10% off and I can't return it then the girl took the tag off where it states how to wash the cover of the chair which I found it weird like why would you do that when I'm buying this item. So I asked her and she said she was told to do that and then I said well how am I suppose to wash it if I don't have the directions? She pointed on the tag another tag that the chair had but that stated the warning sign no directions to clean it. So I left upset then came back to the store and spoke with another associate(Hispanic/hair in a bun)I explained to her she was rude too but gave me the original tag but took off the price with bar code. I found it weird that they did that. I never had any company do that before with discounts. This store needs employees with better customer service. read more
