My wife and I planned to purchase a vehicle here and confirmed the details multiple times leading up to our appointment. The price was consistent the entire time--until the morning we were scheduled to come in, when it suddenly jumped nearly $3,000. When I called, I was given an excuse that the sales manager raised the price over the weekend after the vehicle "went through the shop," whatever the hell that means. That's simply not true--we spoke on Saturday and the price had not changed. This falls squarely on the sales manager. Raising the price the day of a scheduled appointment and then refusing to honor the original listing isn't a misunderstanding--it's a conscious decision that reflects a serious lack of integrity. It shows a willingness to mislead customers when it's convenient. That kind of leadership sets the tone for the entire dealership, and it's not one I'd trust. My 94 year-old father on oxygen needed a car and wanted to come up and see this particular vehicle. I called them to make sure of the price and that the car was still available. It is listed on Carfax as a great deal at $22,000. Problem is that's not the real price. They wasted his time and let a 94-year-old man spend an hour driving and wasted at least an hour of his time and the price was $28,000. Their excuse is that there were other fees like tax and tags etc. tax should've been about $14-$1500 and we all know what tags run. These people are slimy and dishonest. We spoke with Ian and Levi initially. They are up to the same old car sales techniques that you would hope a professional company would have done away with by now. This was an incredible experience. I never expected to have such an easy time getting a new car. We were looking for a specific interior / exterior color and model and were having trouble finding anything available in our area. And when we did find the car we'd call up the dealership and they were never able to hold it or help us out. When we saw the car that we wanted was available at this location we called up and our experience could not have been any more different. It was like working with an entirely different car company. We put down a deposit, filled out paperwork and put the car on hold. Easy peasy, and the way it should be. Then we headed to the dealership, filled out some more paperwork, made some payments and walked out with the car. Easy, fair and not stressful. Thank you Burlington Hyundai. All Hyundai dealerships seem to break things then "find things" wrong with them. I brought my 2010 in for a transmission only and was quoted a price that was wayyy out of control for them to put in. Took it across the street to another repair shop and the job was done for 1/2 quoted price. Shortly after I found my front axles leaking, my radiator had a leak and a sensor that controls the fan also broken. I'm done with them and Hyundai in general!! read more

The service department is absolute crap. You can never get through to them, so you have to leave messages to call back, which they don't. My vehicle has been there since November 12. I called November 19 to get an update on if diagnostics were done to tell me what is wrong with the vehicle. I got told it was going in on the following morning, November 20th. I got no call on the 20th, I called on the 21st to get an update and had to leave a message. I called again on the 22nd and left a message in the morning to call me back so I knew what was wrong. No call back. Called this morning (25th) for an update and got put on hold for 5 min and then got disconnected. I called back, no answer, I had to leave another message to call me back. Then I finally get a text message stating my car is getting looked at NOW..., 5 days after they told me it was going in?!! So I then asked where I was on the loaner list since I got put on it on the 14th and was number 8 then. All they said is it was extensive list and I would be number 9. How is that even possible when I was number 8 almost 2 weeks ago?... This place is so unbelievably unprofessional. I should have figured that out when I called the first time and when the service dept picked up all I heard was "Jesus Christ" and a bunch of other swearing and arguing in the background before getting disconnected and not spoken to at all for 2 min. I called back 4 more times (2 times to the manager) no one answered any calls so again, I had to leave messages. If I ever own another Hyundai I will definitely not purchase one here nor ever bring it to this service department again. I will go to Burns Hyundai in Marlton, where they know how to treat customers correctly. read more

The worse dealership I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I called on January 3, 2025 because I had no heat in my car and it was 8 degrees outside. They could not get me in until January 27, 2025. I took the car to a friend who is a mechanic and he put it on his diagnostic machine and told me the fuse box is damaged and melted and that my car was unsafe to drive. I called Burlington Hyundai back and let Tony know what I was told and he said there is nothing they could do before 1/27/25. He then said the only thing I could do is call Hyundai Corporate (which he didn't have their number). I call Hyundai Corporate and they said that it is unacceptable and offered to reimburse me for a rental car and the whatever I needed after the car was diagnosed. I got a call from Chris who told me the mechanic could find nothing wrong with my car. I had to give him the mechanical verbiage of what was wrong with my car, and low and behold, an hour later I received a text (no common courtesy of a phone call) that they found the problem. Needless to say, I would have picked my car up and I would have had the same problem (maybe worse) and would have had to go through waiting weeks to get the car in again and no loaner car is ever available. I pay a ton of money monthly for this 2022 Hyundai Sonata and there is no reason that I should have experienced this nor should I have had to tell the mechanic what was wrong with my vehicle. I have bought 3 vehicle at this dealership and they just lost a loyal customer. read more

Wow!!!! Hyundai City Service Center TREMENDOUSLY shines ! From the start when we called (Tony answered the phone) to have our Sonata 32,000 mile service it was a great & happy experience. We didn't have an appointment because we were just passing through New Jersey driving from Corpus Christi on our way to New London, Ct. . We were willingly accommodated as long as we got our car there with enough time before closing time. We reached the Hyundai City Dealership/Service Center around 3:30 PM. Got checked in immediately by Tony. VOILA! By around 4:40 svc Advisor José Nieves comes to the waiting room and hands us our invoice for the completed service and tells us our Sonata is ready. Less than 2 miles driving home, the check engine light is on, engine is revving on its own, lights are flickering - none of which was happening before I brought the car in! Do not buy here!! A new owner took over Hyundai City in 2022, and finances are tight with this owner. Purchased a car in July 2022. Salesman would not budge on price of car, but daughter wanted it. (I would have walked out!) Offered me $100 for a trade in. Rejected the offer, and sold on my own through facebook a few weeks later for $3,000. Finally - took them 2 months to get me a loaner car so they could repair some nicks to door. Loaner car was through Enterprise. A month later I get a bill from Enterprise, as Hyundai City would not pay taxes on the time period I had the loaner car. I'd leave 0 stars if I could! This place is run by a bunch of crooks! They have an old, expired deal up on their site. They offered this deal to my husband. Took up two weeks of his time. Got his payment to what he wanted, ran his credit and had him fill out an application. Dragged their feet to respond. On Wednesday they give him all the information and even have him ready to insure the car. Then at the last minute tell him deal is unavailable and car payment will be $40 a month higher! The deal is only good on Tuscans now supposedly. Tucson's are conveniently nearly ten grand more. Supposedly the deal ended Tuesday, and she waited until Wednesday when it was over to try and finalize his sale and say the deal was not available. Don't deal with Liz, she's a lying, manipulative thief who wouldn't even answer (via text or on the phone) as to why she didn't warn him the deal would supposedly end Tuesday-had she, he'd have bought it Friday or Monday. We now have a lawyer and are suing Liz, the dealership and Hyundai. F this Hyundai and the thieves that work there. Texts attached of her offering the first deal several days ago and then of her switching it last minute. Don't do business here. What they did is consumer fraud and it is 100% illegal. read more

This place seems to have gone down hill since I leased my Elantra 3 years ago. My lease is ending and asked for buyout financing numbers. The residual is like 11,000 dollars and they give me a price of 18,000 with for 72 months at 389.00 a month. When I asked why this was so high and pointed out that that this is not what the contract says I was told the additional money was for "fees" but they could not tell me what fees. I will never go back to this place ever again. They play games and don't hold to their contracts. I will also be placing a complaint with Consumer affairs and my lawyer. read more

Had a verbal confirmation what the cost of the lease would be based on their online calculator and what they told me. Weet to the dealership and all of a sudden there was a "discrepancy" on the website and the lease would be $33/month more. Call it false advertisement or bait and switch, but either way it's dishonest. The salesman Bradley tried to feed us some BS about how the MSRP of the vehicle varies depending on whether we leased or bought. He also claimed that the numbers on their website were populated by Hyundai, yet when I went on Hyundai's website and completely maxed out the vehicle in question and it was still thousands of dollars less than what they were asking. After going back and forth with them about about dishonest and possible illegal practices in earshot of other customers in the showroom, they did lower the price back down- not to what we were originally told, but they met us halfway. Despite this I still would not recommend them to anyone due to shady practices and them unwilling to keep their own word. Also- we were told the sales manager and finance manager would explain everything to us, which never happened. That leads me to believe there was no explanation other than them trying to get more money. Stay away! read more

Fantastic service, from my initial panicked phone call (oh no - the engine light is on!!!) to the shorter-than-expected wait. April earned my gratitude for assuring me during my call that it wasn't a dire emergency, and she made sure I was taken care of throughout the entire repair process, from showing me how dirty the air filter actually was, to finding me a paper cup for tea (although I don't think that's really part of her actual job!) - she even added a coupon discount to the bill that I hadn't realized was available. All in all, our Hyundais (we've purchased many over the years, including several here) haven't needed many repairs, but it's good to know that when they do, we can return to Hyundai City for excellent repair service. read more

When we tried to schedule an appointmen for a basic oil change and tire rotatio, it was about a month out. We brought our car into the shop and we told them to also check the windshield washer because it would leaked. They told us that it needed a new windshield washer motor. We gave them the OK to perform the work. We were told that they would order the part and we could pick up our car the next day. No call from them informing us of a delay. The first person we talked to indicated that it would take 5 days before they get the part. we called again and was told the part is there, but, they cannot install it today. They rescheduled for the end of next month (27 days). part cost $25.00 and they are charging $378. read more

Burlington City Hyundai service is the worst place to take your car for service. i have never met a group of people especially Sean and Tony who are the most least empathetic people. I've been dealing with them for 5 years now. I never had a problem until the 5 th year when my car needed a new engine. I was lied to for a year by their employee Megan ( who they ) terminated for a year. Megan had my car for 3 months lying to me telling me she was waiting to hear from corporate Hyundai to let me know what they could do to replace a engine. it's all over the internet late models of Hyundai's are dealing with a oil consumption line. They did nothing absolutely nothing to help me. Tge pretty much wrote me off and refused to help me. i have never met a more unprofessional and un organized place to take your car for service. It was the easiest transaction ever. I called the dealership, Tyler called me back immediately. I told him the car I was looking for, he sent me the cost breakdown via email. No hidden costs, transparent with numbers and respectful of time. We finalized the deal over the phone on Wednesday and I picked up the car on Saturday. My father bought his first foreign care from Hyundai City. I had occasion to visit their service department with his 2009 Hyundai Elantra to investigate a problem shifting into Park. They promptly diagnosed the problem and informed me that a part needed for the fix wouldn't be available until the morning. They gave me a loaner car and sent me on my way. This may seem insignificant, but note that they didn't know me from Adam's housecat. They knew my father and had respect enough to make everything as easy as possible because I was his son! Help I got robbed. First of all try not to buy a car right now, pickings are slim and it is a dealers market. And if you have to buy avoid this Dealer. No matter how careful I am these salesman are slick. First of all at a previous Hyundai dealer I was offered $20,000 for my Ram Rebal. This dealer also sold Rams.I told them I didn't owe anything on this truck for I only owed about $2500. And they offered me $20,000 But this dealer CITY got me good. They offered me 13,000. After refusing they came up to 19000 but here is the steal. 1600 was my tax credit for the trade in. Plus they told me they were paying off my loan. Implying they would pay the 2500. I wasn't sure of exact amount so I said 2500 maybe less. The salesman said if we overpay and the payoff is less the difference will be mailed directly to you. Again making me feel like they were giving me the $2500. No I paid the 2500 off the price they gave me for my trade in. The were just mailing it in. Both the sales man and manger Frank said they were paying the fee. For I clarified three times. Didn't realize the tax credit till I got home. So now take $4100 off the $19000, they actually only gave me $14,900. Major rip off. Top it off they tried to get me with a 6.6 % loan rate again I wanted to go with my bank and that would take a day or two. So suddenly they came down to 3.9 but I already new Hyundai was offering better rates. The final rip off was they went $6000 over MSRP. Now places are doing that but usually in this area is 1000 to 2000. But I said to him well since your paying the $2500 off my loan I will accept that price. For I wanted this particular car and model. Lastly they got me for another $2000 for lenders contract fee also not told about the fee. I should have gone with my bank. Now if I refinance I lost another couple thousand. They distract you, rush you, and don't give you the real prices till you sit with a different person that does all the paperwork. The salesman told me to empty my truck and gave me the keys to the new car. Again I said I want to go over the numbers before I load new car.But the salesman loaded it for me. Usually the sales person sits with you and reviews contract but not here . They get you very confused. Be very very careful . Take another person with you to help keep things straight. They got me for at least $10,000-probably more for it is a different time right now. Brown Daub, Manger Ryan and salesperson Bryan were much more honest. You need to travel but worth going the distance. It could save you money and heart ache. ! I shared this so nothing like this happens to you. Make the sales guy show you and review contract before going to the finance person. Review ever number. I know better and still got hoodwinked. read more

First off I regret my new car purchase very unprofessional even the sales guy quit day after purchase paperwork wasn't put through I had to drive a few times over just to bring my papers to get what was owed to me. Figure ok one thing that's fine then I go to find out my brand new car had no coolant. Ended up taking it to my local dealership and they did it, since I couldn't get a hold of city. Next the new car has rust specks on the trunk of the new white palisade called never get a call back left messages and never a return no customer service. Hose wasn't even connected on wipers and loose hand rest. Called ask for manager and never received a call back. The worst car dealership I've ever been to. New car better off buying a used car since it's problems after problems and they don't ever respond. Did not want to leave a bad review but gave them weeks to months to reach out to me I've called and left tons of messages to at least try to help me out not asking for a handout but asking for the car to be fixed it's all should be under warranty. Do not buy a car here! I purchased a 2019 Elantra from this dealership. Last September, I was made aware that they gave me the paper work for the wrong car. My owners card does not match the vin number. The sales manager, Dan Brusha, told me it would be taken care of in days, not weeks. Almost six months later and nothing is resolved. I recently received a notice from the state stating my registration rights are being suspended because of this. This applies to all cars in my name. This whole experience has been a nightmare. The supposed general manager has never called me or reached out in any way. This is how they treat someone who has bought multiple cars from them. read more

Just a warning about Hyundai quality: Hyundai is installing defective windshields in their new cars. They crack with no apparent reason; and then they expect you to pay for replacement. We leased a 2016 model. There has been no impact or stress applied. There is also a loose lower rear side panel we discovered incidently ( one doesn't usually walk around a new car checking the integrity of the body panels). Horrible people and dealer!!! I went for the repair of my Sonata's melted door frame inside tape. After the service when i checked the door i noticed there is a small piece of door frame outside rubber is broken and missing. I told them immediately about this and they told me come back tomorrow for the repair. Next day they told me it was missing before they started working on my car and they would not repair it. However i am 100% sure it wasn't the case and outside door frame rubber wasn't broken as i had inspected the car just before handing over to them. The next day i noticed something is vibrating inside the same door and when i told them about vibration i got the same reply they did not do it. After a single repair my door start vibrating on bump's and i have a rubber piece missing from the door frame. Would never go there again and stay away from this dealer. They would damage your car and would not take responsibility. STAY AWAY !!! read more

I have had a series of great experiences at Hyundai City. Everyone at this dealership from sales to service is friendly and helpful. Although appointments are encouraged in the service department, I have walked in twice for oil changes . Each time the service staff happily accommodated me . My sales person Rob , not only made my purchase pleasant, but he continued to assist with my numerous blue link questions . To make things even better , they have a brand new showroom. I purchased my used 2014 car on 2/10/2017 upon reading positive reviews for this car dealer. After 2 weeks I had to return my car due to a very loud squeaking noise which turned out to be bad rear rotors and brake pads which was covered under my limited warranty therefore replaced. Prior to picking up my car, I called after 5 business days upon drop off to see if completed by leaving a message on the Service Manager's v/m. Well after not receiving a return call within a reasonable timeframe, I called back after 4 days and the service manager advised me my car was ready for pick up. I went into the service dept. area for pick up and found one of the mechanics sleeping in a chair behind the reception desk in the service dept which I feel is inappropriate and unprofessional when customers come to pick up their vehicle. I went to my car parked in the parking lot and see the interior rubber molding around the door is sticking out due to being ripped which was not like this before I dropped off. I showed the service manager who said he would order the part and call when it's in, this was on 3/10/2017 and still no return call. Bottom line, I won't be going back to this dealer. Dealers are a dime a dozen so look elsewhere. read more
