The company now operates 1,483 stores in 37 U.S. states. I have a love hate relationship with this chain. Their prices are great and generally everything else is horrible. The checkout line is always long, the dressing rooms are disgusting, and they treat you like you have already shoplifted them. Still I keep coming back because where else can you find a dress for under $20 and I can find a gift for anyone on my list here. This Ross was a pleasant surprise. I stopped in because my friend got me hooked on sparkly, inexpensive, and surprisingly comfortable sandals by Andiamo. I lucked out and they had a couple of pairs in my size. Unlike my past experiences with checking out, this was painless. This Ross seems to be a bit better than some of the others I have visited.

The day before her birthday, I get a call from the bakery cancelling my order because their printer is broken. While I understand things happen, I am not sure why they waited until the day before to let me know. This put me in a bad spot, as most places do not take custom cake orders 24 hours in advance. When I asked the woman who called me if there was another walmart nearby who could do it, her reply was just "we can't do it, you can call other locations." I was disappointed in the lack of customer service for an issue that they created especially since it was related to such a special day. In the future, if customer orders have to be cancelled there should be more advanced notice and some sort of offer for an alternative solution.

They replenish the store regularly, & it's easier to move around the store.
