Merchandise all over the place.

Terrible service at this store. I asked the security guard to call for the manager and he said the manager is not available. They have been short staffed over 3 weeks and nobody is doing anything to expedite the line. He did not want to argue with anyone so he was not going to call anyone. I called the store and I was told there was no manager available. The woman that answered she would find someone but no new cashiers came. There were more than 20 people in line and one cashier. The store itself is a mess. Merchandise is disorganized all over the shelves and floor. No one available in the fitting rooms.

Check out the awesome Christmas gift giving merchandise at your local Burlington in Hollywood Florida at 755 S State Rd 7

Ross is a chain of discount department stores founded in 1950 in California by Morris "Morrie"…read moreRoss. In 1958 Ross sold his store to a real estate developer who franchised the store to 6 locations. In the 1980's the stores were sold to real estate investors who grew the brand. The company now operates 1,483 stores in 37 U.S. states. I have a love hate relationship with this chain. Their prices are great and generally everything else is horrible. The checkout line is always long, the dressing rooms are disgusting, and they treat you like you have already shoplifted them. Still I keep coming back because where else can you find a dress for under $20 and I can find a gift for anyone on my list here. This Ross was a pleasant surprise. I stopped in because my friend got me hooked on sparkly, inexpensive, and surprisingly comfortable sandals by Andiamo. I lucked out and they had a couple of pairs in my size. Unlike my past experiences with checking out, this was painless. This Ross seems to be a bit better than some of the others I have visited.

My favorite dept is knickknacks like photo frames, statuettes, jewelry organizers. The kitchen dept is fabulous, too. I usually wander around for 2 hours and find items to upgrade my wardrobe or my home. Clean store and no clothes on the floor.

I have a gift to buy for a young girl. She loves girly clothes. When I found out Target sold Love…read moreShack Fancy, I figured they would have something right up her alley. The selection of clothes at this store is great. They have lots of girly and pretty clothes. I wish I could fit into them. The prices are very reasonable. I believe this is a limited time collaboration. The rest of the store was great too. I like how there are employees around if I need to find something. There are many things that Target sells that other stores do not. I bought some limited edition Method soaps and frozen pizza made in Brooklyn. I am excited to try both. I am a member of their rewards program. I don't find I save much money with it. They have some offers in the app but it seems to be for items I don't usually buy. They do give you 5% off one shopping trip during your birthday month which I like.

This Target is yet another that provides a typical experience that we've all grown accustomed to -…read moreas we appreciate its corporate standardization efficiency while resenting its soulless capitalistic extraction. Well-organized atmosphere with a great selection that offers reasonable enough prices. The staff is generally always helpful - even when we faced a transaction error that made it a very frustrating visit (they definitely deserve a raise). Not much else to say except that it's a cut above other big box stores. Only loses a star for both its working conditions that disfavor workers and the auto-oriented, suburban hegemonic design that pollutes the environment and worsens our health.

They have lots of cute knickknacks for the home, for the office and for gifting out. I picked up some cute stickers, little note cards with envelopes for giving out. I've been to Daiso in Seattle and it seemed that they had a lot more merchandise there. I liked the aisles with the food. I was happy to find some items that they don't carry at the local Asian stores. When we were ready to check out, there were 3 people ahead of us and a line forming behind us. There were no employees at the registers and the self checkout registers had error messages so they couldn't be used. My husband found an employee who was restocking the shelves. Lol, my husband said that the employee didn't seem happy that he had to go up front. While the employee was ringing up the items, his coworkers started arriving. He mentioned to them that he was getting ready to clock out... no wonder he didn't seem happy. A different coworker came up front and cleared the error messages on the self checkout registers which made the line move quickly.
