I give him a 5 star. My second experience was not as pleasant. The lady who helped me said she was the store manager. She was irritated with my questions. I needed her to look up my husband's sizes because I was there shopping for his birthday. Not one of those wife's who memorize their mans suit and dress shirt sizes. Anyways- I was trying to pull together 4 outfits that included pants, shirt, tie, sweater and socks. There was a sale happening and it wasn't clearly posted. I kept having to get clarification on which items were sale prices. She was not really interested in helping me. I was annoyed with her treatment considering I spent over $500 dollars.

They have some fun jewelry and other accessories. The clothes are not exactly my style, but I still appreciate the high quality and the nice design of them. Since the beginning, there have been multiple issues with our order and communication. The biggest issue was that the vests that arrived were the wrong color entirely. We ordered green vests and instead received a tan/beige color. Because of this error, we now have to reorder items only days before the wedding, creating unnecessary stress for our family. On top of that, two of the men's suits are not expected to arrive until June 23rd ... leaving only a few days before the wedding to verify fit, color, and make any corrections if something else is wrong. What made the experience worse was the customer service. While my brother was in store trying on his suit, we called my mom so she could see the color selection. During that conversation, an employee (who later identified herself as Shoma Gibbs) spoke to us in a way that felt dismissive and disrespectful. When we later came into the store to understand what happened with the vest order, she interrupted us multiple times, spoke over us, and seemed unwilling to let us explain our concerns. She did provide a corporate number, but initially refused to provide her name and stated, "I don't have to give you all that information." I understand mistakes happen, especially with wedding orders. What disappointed us most was not just the mistake itself, but the way the concerns were handled afterward. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because wedding timelines are stressful enough without having to worry whether formalwear will arrive correctly days before the event.

The area is very walkable. Most drivers are courteous when you cross in front of them and they yield to you. In an Ideal World, I think Pembroke Gardens should have an automatic covering for when it is super hot or rainy. That is the downfall of this shopping mecca, several months of the year it is just not fun to come here because of the weather. Parking is another issue. I really wish they would build a parking garage because there is usually a problem finding a parking spot on the weekend. That just puts me and then annoyed state of mind when I'm going to a fun place. Definitely come to Pembroke Gardens when you want a fun and memorable they are night out.

Ross Store Complaint…read more As I'm at checkout at a register, I see my older elderly mother in-law patiently waiting for me. Now she had already payed and had a Ross bag of her own. This tall security guard wearing a SWAT team tactical uniform starts staring at her and starts to question what's in her bag. He immediately walks towards her and starts checking her bag and asking for her receipt to verify if she's purchased the items. She mentions to him, you've already saw me checking out at register. Even after he's finished checking her bag, he hasn't taken his eyes off of her and keeps starring at her, making her feel uncomfortable. My mother in-law asked him if there was something wrong. And as nice as she is, she's also asked him if he'd like a peace of gum because that's what she ended up grabbing from her purse because she likes to chew mint gum. My mother also asked him, if there was a problem because she felt uncomfortable. I was at the register about to walk out the door towards where they were and ask him if he sees anything suspicious, he just ignored me and just asks for my receipt. Now this guy just saw me at the register. By law you don't have to show receipt if you seriously don't want to. I did anyways and asked him why he's being so rude. He doesn't show any signs of hospitality, kindness, not even a smile and he demands your receipt at the door and he looks at you suspiciously, as though you've stolen something. As consumers we have our rights by law. It's called Shopkeepers Privilege Law. I was upset with this security guard and told him, I didn't have to show him anything because I've payed my product at register in full. My mother in-law is in her 80's and it upset me more, that the security guard hired by the store would actually insinuate suspicion of elderly woman committing fraud, because that's what Ross is implying and that's violating our rights. They've got everything they need for security, they've got camera's, face detection, live security guards and other floor attendants. I would have made a complaint but the people that have been hired, specially the mangers actually are more rude and have been known to rase their voices at customers. The next time I go in this store I will try documenting these recurring events on video and post it on YouTube and may even write the Ross corporate office and consult my lawyer. This shouldn't be happening and corporate chains need to stop treating customers like cattle. We pay for their goods, keeping them in business. It's not our fault if other people are steeling their inventory, they shouldn't be mistreating us because of it. It's not welcoming and it's not nice. If I'm walking into the store, I shouldn't be getting an eyeball or a hard stare instead of a warm welcome to Ross store.
