The cashier says there regular price even tho clearly there is a reduced price tag and then proceeds to walkie her manager were then she says her manager sayd the same thing so i told her id like to speak with a manager she called one over were i waited 15 minutes for one and when she came up it was the most untrained right out of high school manager who began with her BS story of how she was the one herself who reduced the keychain and it was only 10% (which it basically jist the tax) and I was still willing to buy them when thankfully i pull up the sticker and see a faint reduced price i didnt notice before hand and its much less than 10% I show her and she rings me up for that price when i tell her to do the second one for that price she says no. I understand there are people out there doing this for a living and opening them but i just happen to see them and just wanted to buy 2 for my daughter and I, the horrible part is the way the manager was assuming I opened them ive worked in retail for years and even at this exact STORE so for the untrained manager SANDY discriminating me and trying the make me feel less than you need to give your guests the benefit of the doubt unless PROVEN otherwise. Today, I walked out with a cart full of clothes that were $2 each. At other locations, I'm lucky if I find 1 or 2 discounted items. The managers seem like they genuinely want to move their inventory instead of just marking everything up as much as they think they can get away with. The manager who helped check me out today was so sweet and kind. She even went the extra mile to apply the student discount for me. The pricing is extremely fair. Reminds me of pre-COVID thrifting. Ever since the grand reopening they've been getting some good brands! I scored some Uggs for $6, Spanx leggings for $2, and there were a couple different North Face for $6-$10. The only thing I'd suggest working on is better organization by size. As you can see in the picture all sizes are jumbled up even though the dividers indicate they do try to organize by size. It's probably shoppers who are putting clothes back randomly, which sucks, but hey, guests are gonna be guests. Other locations do seem better at staying on top of that issue-- but overall, not a big deal if you're not pressed for time.

Before checking out, I overheard the same cashier explaining to another older customer that the people working there volunteer their time and aren't paid. That honestly made me appreciate the organization even more because I believe volunteering from the kindness of your heart is something worth supporting. Unfortunately, that appreciation disappeared the moment we reached the register. The same cashier was checking out my sister and me, and I'm not sure if the way we were treated had anything to do with us being two younger brown adults, but the interaction was incredibly uncomfortable and humiliating. My sister tried to explain the price of the hangers she was purchasing. Rather than simply listening to her, the cashier questioned her and refused to believe what she was saying, even after my sister showed her a physical picture she had taken showing the price. To be clear, this review is not about the price. We completely understand that employees need to verify prices. What was upsetting was the unnecessary attitude and the way my sister was made to feel as though she was being dishonest. Then, completely unnecessarily, the cashier commented that the hangers were too "small" for our clothes. What exactly was she implying by that? Was she making a comment about our bodies or our size? Regardless of what she meant, it was an extremely inappropriate thing to say to a customer. My sister politely explained that she was purchasing the hangers to hang her pants. Instead of simply moving on, the cashier responded with "ew, that's disgusting." Who says something like that to a customer? There was absolutely no reason for that comment. It was rude, disrespectful, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate. A customer should never have to stand at a register and be spoken to in a way that makes them feel humiliated for something as simple as purchasing clothing hangers. What makes this even more upsetting is that I had been excited to support this organization because I respect what thrift stores and volunteer-based organizations represent. Unfortunately, one employee's behavior completely ruined that experience for me. I left feeling angry, disappointed, and, most importantly, humiliated on behalf of my sister. Watching someone speak to her that way while she remained polite was incredibly upsetting. I genuinely wish I had recorded the interaction because it was one of those situations where you leave thinking, Did that really just happen? I will never be returning to this location. I hope management takes complaints like this seriously and understands that volunteering or working for an organization does not give anyone the right to belittle, embarrass, or disrespect customers. He had me try on the pants, made a few quick adjustments and markings--and within about 15 minutes, the fit was completely transformed. It honestly felt like magic.
