It's 2 pm in the afternoon, the line is all the way to the exit . Employees standing around and out of 10 registers only 2 are open. Ridiculous. Don't have that many registers if they're not going to be open. Also the store is ghetto when the security has to let you into the store . So beware of this place. read more

Went in last time and they didn't have what I was looking for. I was getting crazy socks but now they are just thes ame ones.

We always find more things than expected . Jackets , hand bags , bed for our pets , shoes , clothes , etc I do agree with other reviewers the store is a little messy . Lots of stuff. On the floors . And some if the cashiers are so slow . Like they want to take a long time not to get to the next customer, take for everything to put an item in a bag , other than that I do recommend this store . Not only am I the first to review this, but I had to put the business' information into yelp myself. I was happy to do because this place is terrific. Went here on a day when it was raining super hard. Got really wet on the way there, but managed to stay dry on the way home thanks to my new coat. Had to go shopping without my girlfriend, which can be dangerous because even though I am buying the coat for myself, I actually look at myself very little. Reviews were good, and fortunately I was able to confer with an older dad shopping with his kids. As I was looking at myself in the mirror he nodded and gave me a thumbs up. That turned out to be the straw that made the camel buy the jacket. Had never been to a Burlington Coat Factory before, but was pleased to find that they have more than just great coats. Also have cheap socks and really huge shiny pajama pants. On the way out I miraculously recovered a ten-dollar bill blowing away in the storm for a man in the parking lot. It's horrible! Clothes, bedding, and random crap strewn all over the aisles. The whole place is a hot mess. I ended up just going to Walmart to get what I needed because BCF was so disorganized and ghetto. Yes, I'm using the "G" word here! If they can get their act together and clean up the store that would help tremendously! I am only going to speak of the service of this store because most people already know when you come to Burlington Coat Factory you will be there for awhile as you look through racks and racks of clothing and coats! When I first went to try on some clothes that I wanted to purchase there was no one in the fitting room so I just went back and found my own room. There were clothes everywhere and it was dimly lit! When I came back with more clothes to try on there was an attendant that time but she just waved me to the back and when I was done I didn't know where to place the clothes I couldn't fit so I put them on a rack that was close to the door instead of leaving them in the room like other customers who didn't know what to do with the items they had. When I was ready to check out the line was long and I swear I was going to put my items down but then a cashier told me to come to her line and that was OK with me! She was very nice and she smiled, asked did I find everything OK and that made the experience of the fitting room not seem so bad... I will comeback to this store and other Burlington Coat Factory stores because if you are willing to look you can find some great deals! read more

There is a lot of great things and of course great deals in this store not just clothes but also accessories, things that can be useful at home including the various unique finds. It is a big store and it is also wide a perfect person that fit in here is definitely someone who have a long patience because there is a lot to find if you are consistently looking around just like what I did. The staffs in here are also friendly and helpful and I did not hesitate to ask for some help since they are all approachable. Frankly, there are things that are not good but there are definitely more greater things than the somehow kind of useless ones but not literally. The clothes I found were in a good quality, the fabric is comfy and the price is so cheap. Prices of all the products in here are actually cheaper than of some other department stores. I also got stuffs for my home and all of it are lovely and it is definitely a great deal. I will surely recommend this store to my friends and I wish to be back for another great deals and great finds! read more

I have a love / hate relationship with this place...mostly hate though. The selection is hit or miss. They have TONS of coats (hence the name). Some adorable ones, some bright ones and some I'd never be caught dead wearing. The selection is divided by size and style FOR THE MOST PART but like other stores, not everything is where it should be. You might want to scan other size racks and if you're lucky they'll have the one you were looking for...perfect size and all. The main reason this place loses point is their cashiers. We got stuck with one that was obviously not happy with fact that she had to work so she was moving like molasses. The part that got me was that she answered a phone call while she was ringing up my mom and she just forgot we were standing there UNTIL my mom gave her a piece of her mind. (you go mom!) If you can FIGHT YOUR WAY THROUGH THIS PLACE .. Plan a day as if it's WORK,, you may come out with some GREAT DEALS!!! .. Not sure if it was because of the holiday season but surely the staff here could make sure that customers could easily walk through isles. Forget about taking a cart down one. It's like a fire hazzard in there one way in.. one way out. The staff was nice. It looks like the Young Mens Hip Department was purchased by Roca Wear.. I recently started coming to this location, since the other ones are sort of crazy. This is not a high end store, but whenever you are on a budget it has the perfect things to get. This is way out in the city, even though i live in the suburbs i can say that this location looks a lot cleaner and more organized than the other ones. Customer service is always on point and they even ask you if you found everything OK. I mean in case you were wondering if they had something available, just ask. The manager or even employees will make sure you leave with everything you were looking for. I usually come here to buy shoes and things for the house. I mean why go to your typical shoe store and pay twice as much when Burlington sells them for half the price. Its a no brainer right? Well only if you like living a lavish lifestyle then you would do that. So fellow yelpers make sure you give this place a chance because the management team do know what customer service is. read more

As I am checking out a MANAGER( Jesus ) says to another cashier " my biggest pet peeve is when people put thing on the counter and expect us to get it right away". They laughed and he gave me a side eye. I thought I was being courteous picking up the things from in front of the counter and placing them on counter so they can put it back. They have a good selection of clothes but it is terribly unorganized. Tags missing on 75% of the stuff in there and damaged clothing! Now the staff is another story. .... They are by far the most rude incompetent bunch of morans I have ever encountered in my entire life! I bought my son a shirt with a vest and tie (3 piece set) and the cashier argued with me and my husband for a half an hour that it was supposed to have a pair of pants with it. Went in to purchase a crib. Saw no employee around, to ask of they had it and where. I asked someone in the fitting rooms if they can call someone over, and rudely without an answer back she got on the intercom and mummbled something so I figured it'd only be a few til someone helps me out. Waited 10 minutes. Then I went back to the woman at the fitting rooms. She said "ill help u then but I'm new so idk everything" I'm like " I guess.. I just need that crib and she's like " lemme get my manager" at this point I'm thinking "WHY DIDN'T U DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND WHY WOULD U EVEN HELP IF UR NEW!!!" 10 MINS LATER, some Asian lady comes slowly taking her sweetazz time, and says " we have no cribs at all, idk when we wil but we get shipments everyday" so I said "great, so tomorrow?" And she replied "u should call in to ask, but no doubt it" and just freaking walked away. No apology, no readjustments, nothing. So I walked out an unhappy unpleased person. This Burlington location is horrible. They have great clothes for ok prices but half of the shoes, clothing, etc. has no price on it making it hard to shop. When I asked an employee to check a price for me she wasn't very helpful at all. Every one that I encountered working here has an attitude. I rather go to another store and have better customer service then shop here again. Employees talking among each other talking laud and using profanity glad I didn't bring my kids. No one was in the fitting room to help me, the fitting rooms are a mess. When proceeding to check out the cashier did not greet me not even a hello or smile, She was chewing gum like a cow with her mouth wide open. She also did not look very presentable wearing a dingy black sweater with holes on the sleeves. When I asked the cashier how much was one of the items that I bought because of course it didn't have a price, she rolles her eyes chewing her gum and points to the screen. Horrible place to go there were only two lanes open there was a group of workers in a corner laughing and joking while lines were getting longer and longer. They opened a lane after 30 minutes of joking and laughing. Stephanie a supervisor was giving discounts and freebies to her friends that came in the store.
