Hate the lines in this location. I never wait less than 40- 50 mins to get to a register for only 35 customers with 6 registers open.

Hard to believe this used to be the Loew's American movie theater that I so remember coming to in…read morethe mid 80s- where I'd rather see 'Opera' or 'Re-Animator' for $2 Mondays instead of heading home to do school work. This theater came with a long fight to keep it in the neighborhood. But things evolved. Located across the street from Macy's in Parkchester, this space has been a good addition to the area after the movie theater closed down, remained vacant for a while and retrofitted several years ago to what it is now. I like the TJ Maxx-Marshall's family- because I know I can nab some designerish items that don't come with an eye-watering price tag. Layout is tidy for the most part and kind of on the smaller side- but they make up for it with Activewear and other sections on the top floor. Despite the home section being smaller than what I'm used to seeing at other Marshall's, there's a nice selection of wicker baskets in a wide range of sizes, planters, the wood cutting boards, etc. Plus service, has been nice the few times I've been here. Things have shaped up from what this space looked like originally. And yes- I got sentimental when I reminisced about coming to the Loew's American and sneaking in to the next movie without paying. Even more nostalgic was when I saw the original Loew's 'movie poster signs' outside. Those where the days.

This Target is right around the corner and lets me pick up the little things I need for my home. This is a large location filled with groceries, clothing, electronics, and anything else you might need. It is always packed with people coming in and out. The only downside of this location is the super long lines. It might take you a couple minutes to pick up something but it takes me close to half an hour to get out. On the weekends you are stuck in a long line of families picking up their groceries. I would much rather order online and have delivery services rather than wasting time on a line. This is a good location to pick up things on a non-busy time. However, I would tend to avoid the evenings and weekends as you will be stuck waiting for a long time.

They do a good job stocking the store with the items you need. I come here weekly and have always…read morefound what I'm looking for whether it's groceries, electronics, or personal care products. The store is large so you can use the kiosks situated throughout the isles to locate your items. Some products are enclosed behind glass so you'll have to press the help button to flag down an employee who will unlock the case for you with their key. This sadly adds to the wait time of your overall shopping experience. Another inconvenience is that their self checkout lines often won't accept cash. I've had to leave the express line twice in the last month only to go to the regular line where customers have many more items to check out. This added about 15 extra minutes to my trip. This made me suspicious of their business practices because studies show customers spend more when they pay with a card rather than cash. It makes me wonder if this is just a ploy to go cashless so they can save themselves overhead and get their customers to rack up charges on their credit card.

Hello, I am writing…read moreto report a very disappointing experience my partner and I had in the cosmetics section during a recent visit. The service worker named Maria was dismissive and unresponsive when we approached her for assistance. She looked directly at us but did not acknowledge or help us until another employee prompted her to do so because it was her aisle. This made us feel ignored and unwelcome. Then she only acknowledged my male partner when it was clearly a female item. Additionally, after we had already been handed items, she took them back and brought them to the register to a male cashier that apologized on her behalf because he could see we were very upset at how we were treated. While I understand this may be store protocol, the way it was handled felt abrupt, personal, racist and unnecessary, especially given the earlier interaction. Due to this experience, we chose to leave without completing our shopping. It was frustrating and disappointing, and it impacted our perception of your store. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to address customer service standards moving forward.
