Me and my girlfriend went into this birlington to find easter clothes . We were aware they closed at 12 am. It was 11:50 pm. and they were staring at us and following us around to make sure we got out the store would not let us go to the back to get a dog toy. Then stopped me and told me to go to the front I said im looking for my girlfriend and she said you better call her. I was in shock put my items back and told them they are being very rude we proceeded to leave the store empty handed . I dont know the manager but if all the employees were this rude I can only imagine. Ms Yolanda very rude. I understand people want to leave immediately at closing and have lives inget it but there is a way to come at your customers. You all jus sound very rude and pushy. Walked in and was greeted by the loss prevention employee. The store is gigantic, it has a huge selection of clothing. I was looking for swimming trunks, I could not find any, asked for assistance and a young lady working there only spoke Spanish She did not speak any English but I kept saying what I was looking for and she finally figured out what I meant and was able to point me the right direction. The selection was plenty in swimwear and I was able to find something. I was able to try it on to make sure it fit, the fitting room had no one manning it so I just went directly to a free dressing room. When I got into the line for checkout I waited for maybe 8 minutes, they had six people checking people out and before I knew it the line was 20 people deep behind me. This place has changed a lot ... for the worst. The little old little at the fitting room looks unhappy. We have 4 items and she said out loud limits 6 items. I said okay we have 4. Then while shopping some more. I had to use the restroom and 2 others ladies also. But the lock up both bathroom up. So I asked why and they said because people were stealing merchandise. Well, that's not my problem. They should hire someone to sit there and tell people no merchandise beyond this point. I was denied access to the restroom or the store. On my approach, the fitting room employee stated to me in Spanish, "Our manager doesn't want nobody in the restroom; if I open the restroom, she will reprimand me". On my approach to the front of the store, I saw the manager, "Margaret." I asked her for the restroom, and she told me that it was for employees only after she told me that was a safety issue. I told her there was a sign on the bathroom door. "Employees Access Only" was illegal, as a business needed to provide access to the restrooms to operate. She responds, oh no, that is legal. " I can deny anyone access to the restroom. to the restroom; they were locked. They stated that access was prohibited. I demand an investigation about this matter, this can put on risk customer health, due to medical conditions. Also having a manager with lack of empathy and knowledge about the law and access, put Burlington on risk of legal action. I was needing a couple of outfits for my vacation trip. I've never been to a Burlington so disorganized, even the regular clothes where a mess, shoes where all over the floor and all kinds of sizes everywhere. For the check out experience, I literally spend more time in line than what I spent shopping. They only have 2 cashiers and they literally don't want to work with the speed they do. If you've been following me for -any- length of time, you know I love to shop. Man, this store was a deplorable experience. Granted, it's less than a week out from Christmas, but there is NO excuse for a store to be this disorganized, this picked over, and this utterly disgusting. The merchandise was scattered willy-nilly over different departments, the employees that I encountered, all three of them didn't appear to want to be there, and there appears to be a high rate of theft. In the accessory/jewelry/makeup & gift department department I found more open products, more missing items and more slippage (Aka THEFT of items) than I have ever seen in one location. The only good thing was that they had MY size bra in the lingerie department. They've been the only location to do so. I will -not- be coming back. read more

First I'll start that I love shopping at Burlington in Brandon FL, I always find great deals on things I didn't need, lol! The reason for the review is their return policy. The date I visited was 12/4. I waited on a line that extended across the front and down the side of the store for 40 min... still not my complaint. Due to the fitting rooms being closed I could not try on my purchase so in getting them home realized they didn't fit I had to come back and return them. Here is where my complaint comes in, they do not have a separate line for returns so I had to wait on the same line. I spoke with the manager and they pretty much dismissed me after they said it was store policy. I called CS as I waited on line and she told me it was store policy and because Covid they have fewer registers open to help guest ALSO if there was a register open the manager could jump on and take care of it. I told her he didn't even offer even though there was multiple registers available. I understand policy but I would think during the holiday they would try to make it easier and streamline things. Pictures are of the 2 manager's ringing up 5 items or less customers in front of store.. the amount of registers open (more than 2) and the line. This Burlington Coat Factory location has a lot of clothing items of all kinds such has t shirts, business shirts/dress shirts, sweaters, jeans, business pants, dress socks and regular knee socks. The staff here at this location are friendly and always fast when needing something. On the weekends especially Saturday's this location does get busy when I say busy aspect to wait awhile to pay at the cashier because it's a very long wait time to pay. If you do not have the time to wait then this location isn't the place for you. I like to visit Burlington for their great sport clothing sets. I can pick up really cute Nike jumpsuits for under $20. Most retailers sell for $25-$35 easy. Seems they have some decent deals. I just finished shopping a few minutes ago. I have lived many places in the United States being in the Timeshare marketing industry and I can say Burlington is one of my favorite places to shop. NOT HERE! The Burlington here in Brandon is bad. The wait line runs 30 to 45 minutes. The counter staff is afraid to look you in the eye. The management at this store obviously needs to be replaced or some type of higher up needs to come and do some advanced training on customer service. read more

I wanted my significant others' input in some items I needed to buy yet he couldn't come directly into my dressing room with me. Other stores that are of better quality allow this however, their policy doesn't to cover their selves. While I understand that from a business point of view, it really sucks for the customer. He was coming directly to my dressing room and usually women do not parade in the hallway of a dressing area naked nor do we all feel comfortable parading certain clothing items before everyone else outside the dressing area. However, at the Brandon location on 60 the staff is so lazy that I was told I cannot take the shopping cart into the parking lot....? Even when my cart was filled with items to the brim. Your welcome Burlington for always spending hundreds of dollars every time I shop. But it's pretty clear that the bullshit excuse an employee told me was nonsense. "You can't take the cart outside because it locks up the wheels." Hilarious- what a pathetic lie to make up because your staff at this location is too lazy to retrieve the carts from the parking lot. It wasn't entertaining trying to carry everything I purchased from the front of your store to my vehicle.
