Was looking for a pair of shoes. DSW didn't opened for another 10 minutes. Saw 95.7 setting up in front of the store, so decided to go in and check it out. The store was organized and clean. The shoes were near the front of the store so it's very convenient. The selection was wide ranging from inexpensive to expensive, and athletic to formal. Checkout had 2 options: self-checkout or at the register. While at the register, I found out from the employee that the store was opened the previous Saturday for a week. Happy Shopping!

Bought a dog treat that made our dog sick and returned the majority of the unused treat that got him sick with receipt. Store policy is returns are accepted for unopened product and in resealable condition - understand that but of a condition product gets someone or an animal sick that's an issue. TJ Maxx return policy also states it up to store discretion when returning open / used items. Manager didn't even care to listen and understand the issue with what they are selling so of course didn't care. We and many of our family and friends have had challenges with her. This isn't a role she should be in because she seems to bring her anger for whatever is going on in her life to the store. So, buyer beware - not because if the store, it's quality or other staff - just watch out for the manager. If you need to return, go to another TJ Maxx - which we did and no issues. Humans who care do work at other locations.

I like that concept, so many great products I see disappear from the dollar stores as they become a little too expensive to sell anymore. This Family Dollar carries a very wide selection of just about anything you might need. I was surprised at the amount of Christmas and Holiday decorations. You could probably say 50% or more shopping here as compared with how much the item is in the supermarket. Shopping experience here is easy and organized. This Store is very large. You can select from clothing to grocery, cookware, housewares. The items and merchandise offered are always a little different, I like that was it prevents the selection from becoming stale. They always have the good old standby's and back to school supplies. The shelves and displays were very neat and well-organized. I found it a pleasure to be able to easily select what I needed without having to look everywhere. If you need something and you're out of luck, no worries here if it's over a buck. Family Dollar. I made the mistake of going into this place open minded. First thing I noticed was how well organized and clean this store was. Seeing everything in its place makes you feel like they care about the Store. Second the staff was unbelievably friendly. They greeted me walking in and even asked if I needed help. I didn't think customers service existed anymore. Third and certainly not least, they have ever name brand here for less! I mean a lot less! They have Planters honey roasted nuts for $2.75. I pay $4.99 at Best Market. They also have shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, and of course the spatula I was looking for at a fraction of the price. I'm a CVS guy always have and will be. But if I need to save from time to time or get peanuts, you can bet I will go to Family Dollar!

Did not find any expired foods although I don't recommend anybody shop in a dollar store for food. Lots of cheaply-made items. No wonder they cost only $1. Example: a corkscrew got stuck in the cork of a wine bottle. I rushed out and bought a good one from the local wine store. Another example: a sink plunger did not dislodge the source of a clogged drain. I headed straight to Home Depot to buy an effective one. The Dollar Store is good for the purchase of seasonings. My chicken comes out so flavorful when I season it with Supreme Tradition Seasoning Salt and Italian Seasoning. Discard all bottles a few months after purchase, or else they will get cake up or/and get stale. This store is excellent for the purchase of birthday, anniversary and holiday cards. They also have a ballon center, gift bags and plenty of decorations. Lines move quickly except around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Large parking lot surrounds the building and fits about 40 vehicles. Most staff wear masks. Overall, I am satisfied with this store for some of my shopping needs.
