When i pressed them, they said it wasn't a safety issue but it would help the tires last longer. Only problem was the repair would have cost way more than the actual tires! They also tried hard to convince me to have my old battery cleaned... which would have cost more than half the price of a new battery. Bigger problem is their attitude. Went in for oil change and inspection. Had coupon for each. Manager mumbled that they normally don't take 2 coupons but he'll do it for me. Gee... nice of him to do me a favor by honoring coupons that they sent me! Then he wanted me to fill out a paper form - with the same info they already had on their computer! Told me it's "their policy". Then i handed him the wheel lock key... and he scowled and told me i'd have to agree to waive any damage they might cause. Never had to deal with that - even when THEY installed the tires that were on my car that i bought from them. Certainly not a scowl. Had he done any of that in a friendly way that showed he recognized my concerns, things might have been different. But his attitude was kinda strange for a business that has plenty of competition.
