If they can't find it I've had them look it up in their supply catalog and give me the number and order it for me if needed. Another time I was trying to fix the sliding screen door and couldn't figure out wtf I was doing. I brought the whole door in and one of the guys showed me how to put the rollers on. Very helpful. I like that it's a hometown store feel, not like the big box stores where I can rarely find help. I'll always start at this store when I need something.

Yesterday at Fratellone's-Woodbury, I experienced five-star-plus customer service by the guy who…read morecut keys for me and the guy whose job it then was to scan them all, keeping them all straight, at the cash register. (1) It was, logistically, an extraordinarily intricate job entailing six "master" keys, for variable numbers of copies respectively among them --and keeping each set of copies together with its appropriate master so I didn't have to try to sort it all out as one big pile of mixed/random keys when I got home. These guys carried it all out with infinite skill and patience, for which I am most grateful. (2) And, as usual, I always get perfect key cuts at this store, never once over almost ten years having to return for even the slightest "finetuning" of a sticky key --which is otherwise something one can reasonably expect to do... but not at Fratellone's-Woodbury. Have you ever had a weekend where you swear you were looking to spend spend spend? Today was that…read moreday. I grabbed a cart at the cart area as I walked in. I went to look for a rolling, plastic draw to keep supplies, lots of tape, bubble wrap, etc. Well, I went walking through to see everything. at his particular store address I had never been to. One man jumped out into the aisle and asked me if I needed help after greeting me cheerfully and kindly. I said, thank you, but I'm just looking around. I placed my purse in the cart and made sure it was visible. I was checking prices on my phone which I did take out of my clear to see purse to compare prices. Seeing that the price was cheaper else wear I continued to look at shelves. I did not see what I needed. I decided to check other stores in the area, so I decided to leave out of the same door as the one I came in and it also says also says to exit. I put my purse on my shoulder and thought should I leave the cart here for the next person at the door? No. I'll be kind and return it at the stack. When going out the door and alarm goes off. OMG! I thought my cart was stuck on the flat rug. I nearly push the back up trying to pull back and push a few times. Then , I noticed, the wheels froze at the doorway. Huh? I'm not even near the end of the property I thought. Until, one of the young ladies at the front desk runs over with some kind of remote and says, oh let me push this button. You're fine. Then, I finished returning the cart. I was upset. I did everything to let security see my purse. I practically walked in down the middle of the aisles. Empty cart. I was mad. I though I should not have to do this. Did the security take their eyes off me and decide to lock up my cart while I looked at items or when I walked in the door? I believe it was one of those. I know it was just for me, because when the alarm went off, a man walked right out the door with his cart and looked at my cart. I have to add, I am a black woman. Also, obviously there is a new way to stop grocery carts before people take off with the goods. I will never go there again. I did enjoy the enthusiastic guy in the back department in the middle. They go out of their way to make sure we've had exactly what we need and we're happy with each of our purchases. The staff, especially John, is very knowledgeable about the products and wonderful with customer service.
