Went here for a quick lunch that wasn't fast food today. It did take about 10 or 15 mins to get the meal. I tried just the basic burger meal. The buns were very soft and buttery and the toppings were very fresh. The style of drive up and someone comes to your car is really great especially for these covid times. I have been a regular customer at this location since the mid 1970's. Burgermaster makes my favorite burger. The Burgermelt which is a double burger with cheese dripping off the sides! Plus, Burgermaster makes the BEST MALTS on this big spinning rock we call earth. My ritual is to order it with a spoon because it is TOO THICK so suck through a straw! How GREAT is that?! Went here the other day with a friend and my wife. Drove by this place all the time going to and from work a few years back and never really noticed the place. The service was very friendly, the food was a little slow to come out however I noticed food was coming out to people who came later much faster, making me think I came near the end of a major rush. As for the burgers, they were good, but nothing special to me. The shakes were enjoyed however our favorite part were the french fries. The only negative I would say about the place is that it seems a little pricy for what is given, but that is just my opinion. read more

I'm glad I live at the opposite end of the 5 freeway, ''cause that's about how much it takes me from going there 2-3 times a week. I love the drive-in service. Craved a much needed burger and this place delivered! Easy to navigate parking and quick service brings you super fresh food. I ordered the Baconmaster Burgermaster with 3 pieces of Bacon, Fries and a side of Onion Rings. From the first bite until the last I was not disappointed. The burger perfectly cooked on that toasted bun, the onion rings crisp and tasty. The fries just well cooked and great to snack on. I am incredibly impressed with the customer service and integrity of management at Burgermaster. I was here a few weeks ago and due to a glitch, by no fault of the cashier, my card was charged for more than what I ordered. When I called to talk to someone about the charge the next week, I not only got a prompt phone call back from the manager Dayrl, but he also sent me a personal hand-written note in the mail with an apology and compensated me well for the faulty charge. Ok, first time here and was not impressed with the food. The service was great, but that's about it. We ordered the bacon master burger and the chicken master. The burger, really had no flavor, the bacon helped, but not by much. The chicken is not a fried chicken, but a skinless and plane. The fries were soggy. The only good thing was the onion rings and those are not homemade. Won't go back, because it's expensive for what you get. I'd rather go to burger king. read more

They insisted I wait outside in the freezing cold... No concern for my comfort at all... My car battery had gone dead I live across the street so I went over to get dinner... After I had been waiting about 10 minutes the cashier decides that I have to wait outside... It was freezing cold and about to rain so I refused... The cashier had no concern for me or my comfort at all... I mean my order was going to be ready in just a few minutes... I was well out of everyone's way wearing a mask so there was no reason in the world I should have been cruelly kicked outside into the cold other than she didn't like watching me waiting... I do like how they let you get half fries, half onion rings as you side with your burger - except that I did get that and the fries were unsalted and the onion rings were all stuck to each other and had not been drained so there was a bunch of oil dripping from them - and the burger...the patties are super thin - but we are paying for a better product. My friend used to be a cook here. He would never accept any other drive-in food. Their burgers are good. The crab-swiss sandwich on sourdough is decadent. Tasty shakes, too. This is one of those vintage-style drive-ins. You signal them with your lights (there are instructional signs...) and they have those old-school trays that clip onto your window. Careful if your car's windows go down automatically. (It sucks to drop the tray on the ground with your food on it...) You know, I didn't expect much from Burgermaster.. hadn't eaten there since I was pretty young. But I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, you gotta love the concept. Drive up, pick what you want, turn on your lights, and wait for service. It didn't take long and the food was fast coming out. I ordered the Burgermaster combo with a strawberry shake.. the burgers are a decent size and the fries are similar to McDonalds (but a little less sinfully delicious). Their tartar is decent and the shake was pretty good. My problem with the shake was it had chunks of that frozen strawberry stuff they use at a lot of places.. I'd rather have no chunks, I think they're pretty nasty. It's a little pricey for what it is, about twenty bucks for two to eat. But I'll pay it for the fun factor and convenience of never having to leave my car. read more

first meal my mother had when she first visited the U.S. and still had me in her tummy. for years, it's been a tradition to go to this Burgermaster location every 6 months or sooner. the burgers, sorry to say.. i've never tasted. (HA!!) all my family eats are the Fish Sandwiches. Yup, that's IT. nothing else but those and some YUMMY french fries. they even have some of the servers working there that my father/mother recognizes. it's that much treasured by us. it's not too big inside, though.. unlike the 45th street (University District) location. it's an old-fashioned drive in. only thing missing are rollerskates. the shakes are always good. but the Fish Sandwiches... OMG it's a filet of heaven. it literally melts in your mouth. i even ate it cold (yes, ick) but it was still delicious. i rave about the sandwich AND the decadent tartar sauce all the time. and Dicks? please. okay, maybe for burgers and junk, but my god! haha, it's funny how i forget everything else and rate this place soley on my love for Fish Sandwiches (from HERE ONLY!!!). but i stand strong by it. it's not fish filet from mcdonalds. it's a flaky, juicy, moist, generous portion of halibut. read more

Burgermaster is the shiznit, and you all know it. They are the old school tasties that kick the crap outta Red Mill...IMO. The Mr always gets the Burgermelt...an obscene pile of burger and cheese on a bun. I like the fish and chips...and so does my little guy. We usually share an order and it is plenty. The burgermaster is great but pretty darn ginormous. You can get a kiddie burger fixed like the big one with lettuce, tomato, etc and it won't kill you. Tip: If you get the fish and chips, ask for the fries in a cup instead of in with the fish. Don't ask me why, maybe the steam messes 'em up, but they taste WAY BETTER in the frycup. Oh yeah, gotta have tartar sauce. I was raised here, after all... The shakes USED to be awesome especially the pineapple one, but just today we got one and it was HORRIBLE. It was like little milk-solid cells, not like real ice cream, and it was just horrible. I returned it and the sweet carhop was like, "Oh, yeah, they need to get a new mix." and I'm like, "Mix, what mix? Who needs a 'mix'?" You gotcher ice cream. You gotcher flavor. You stir them up. DONE. If the next time we go there it's like that again, I'm taking off at least one star. They used to be ice cream...or I'm easily fooled. But the burgers rule, and the fries are supafly, at least in the frycup. I think it must be that frysteam doesn't besmirch the frys if it goes vertically up their lengths. I used to LOVE burgermaster, but it's not what it used to be. . I almost fell over when it cost me almost $20. for chicken and fries and a drink. WHAT? Ok, fine. I'll pay that amount if it's good.. Instead I got 3 little pieces (and it was all breading) of frozen chicken, a dozen small fries and a big scoop of NASTY coleslaw. I'm not a huge fan of coleslaw and the way it was packaged everything was in the same container. So when I opened it it was all mixed together and the chicken and fries were soaked in coleslaw. I wasn't thrilled about the attitude of the guy when I showed them the problem. "It's exactly what you ordered, we cannot control what happened after we gave it to you". "I didn't shake the box, and It's been less than a minute" I said. Big sigh, rolling of eyes, "I really don't see the problem" he chuckled. I guess he was over it, (I had already paid and tipped him 35%) and he had turned and walked away. In the 20 years of coming here I have had pretty good service. I grew up by the kirkland burgermaster and they were great. But, I have to say, in the last year I've only been to the aurora one and the last 6 times I have been extremely disappointed. It's either cold food, or they messed up the order, service is rude or the best one, they added a tip onto the credit card themselves. I never put a tip on my card, I always leave them cash so they don't get taxed. I tried calling the manager about it a couple of times but never heard back. Kid valley is way better, and half the money. I have definitely over stayed my welcome and won't be coming back here. read more

The best damn burger, onion rings and shakes I've ever had. Charbroiled goodness with melted cheese, toasted bun, shredded lettuce and crispy onions. Throw in some thousand island and I think we have a winner. The onion rings are great, as well as the fries with a side of tarter for me, please. The shakes are super thick and wholesome. I can understand the diversity of views here except one... how can anyone compare this place to "Junk in a Box"? Please! No one ever got e-coli at Burgermaster. They buy quality local beef. This is a local chain run by reputable people who do not serve you garbage. It is quality fast food IMO. They are a local institution like Dick's with less grease and a larger portion for a little more money. Red Mill is good, no doubt, so is Red Robin, but both of those places are more expensive upper crust kinds food, and you can't take your dog there. I love Burgermaster burgers better than their closest competition, Kidd Valley. Don't forget to ask for grilled onions, it makes your burger tastier! M-m-m! Staying at the days inn down the street and we were craving a good burger. Ran down, got everything to go pretty quickly, and it hit the spot!! When I am really hungry there is nothing that satisfies like a good cheeseburger. Burgermaster delivers. To your car that is. Tasty burgers, good fries and the best onion rings around. The Burgermelt is the stuff dreams are made of. Double meat, double cheese and double tasty. When I am about to partake of a feast of grease and fat I can't be bothered to have to walk inside and order. And while I am not a huge fan of eating in my car, there is something pretty cool about being able to drive up, order and have your food brought out to you. You just consumed 2000 calories and didn't have to burn any to get it. Awesome! I wouldn't advise eating here every day unless you are an 18 year old trying to bulk up, but for an occasional gut bomb this place can't be beat. read more
