Great burger and fries. Sat in the open area and watched and listened to live music. Fun.

We were welcomed with warm smiles and walked straight to the deli. We shared the Rubinstein and bratwurst (everything on it). It's true - it does take a while for the food to be made but it's so worth it. The meat is sliced is front of you and made to order. My favorite is their cucumber side that's drenched in dill sauce. $2+ beers for happy hour, everyday! Kolsch beer all the way, baby! Shoutout to the chef making our sandwiches. I didn't get his name but he's a super nice guy with a black beard. He was apologetic for the wait - but we assured him there's no rush. We will always wait for quality food! Another shoutout to Priscilla, who was so kind when cashing out our order. We're so ready to come back... tomorrow (haha)! Thank you, Hollerbach team who worked tonight (3/29/2026). We hope you always serve us. Now I don't have to travel 10 hours to Europe for a brat. Love this place.

If you want fresh baked bread, desserts , great bier and ingredients , you must come down to this gem located in Sanford Florida! The market has a great variety of deli meats, bakery items, pantry ingredients and of course German candies and chocolates. After you shop, grab a bratwurst and cold bier and sit outside to enjoy the surroundings or go next store the Hollerbachs restaurant and have lunch or dinner. This is the best German market & restaurant in Florida !

Young girl at the register was nice, tall cook with gotee and baseball cap, NOT so friendly. He didn't say my name correctly which is ok. However, when I went to retrieve my food, eyes locked in, big smile on my face (I was hungry, lol) , and said thank you - death look. No expression, no - your welcome, enjoy, etc. I was hesitant to even say this but this is what this platform is for.. borderline racist as he was nice to other people of lighter skin ); . Just made me feel not welcomed at all. I even said thank you twice. Sometimes kitchens can be a little loud and I can understand if he didn't hear me the first time,, but I know he saw my lips move as we were looking right at each other... Anyway. Overall food was good, a little pricey for a sandwich, fries and a can soda though. For nearly $22 you can eat at sit down restaurant, have quality food and be served with sit down experience. Overall I'd come back as I know what to expect from this location. I've visited another location on LEE RD for to-go but I was in and out... I had the Daily Cheesesteak special. $16.95. I added a cheese sauce $1.30. All together 21.36 total.

I've been to this Subway numerous times over the years and I have never had any major issues or…read morecomplaints other than the parking lot can be a cluster. The lot is small, shares spaces with several other businesses in the same plaza, and is butted up against 17-92, making difficult to enter and exit easily. On my most recent visit, I needed two subs that I could save for dinner later that evening after the Creed concert in Tampa. Yes, we plan that far in advance, lol! It's always a burden to find a place to eat before and after a major concert, so we bring the cooler and our own food/drinks and save $$$$, time, and aggravation. I used a coupon - two footlongs for $12.99. The options are limited now, since the majority of subs are specialty subs and are not part of the promotion. I guess that's how they get you now. So my choices are Italian BMT, Turkey, Cold Cut Combo, Meatball, and I think Tuna. I ended up going with the Italian BMT and the Hotshot Italian, which is basically the BMT with hot peppers on it. The young lady working the counter was friendly, and was very conscious about washing her hands and putting of fresh gloves before making our sub's, great job! Unfortunately they only had two options of bread - wheat and white, bummer. I didn't realize I forgot to ask the server to add mayo, mustard, and spicy mayo to the sandwiches until we began eating our sub's later that day. Nancy's like why are these so bland. Totally my fault, but I do have to say the wheat bread has no flavor at all, without condiments, the sub bread is just meh. All and all, the restaurant was clean and they did a great job making my subs. Its too bad they were out the better bread options so early in the day (10:00am), and I wish they offered more variety with the coupons. Ultimately, I recommend them if you are looking for a meal at a much lower cost to eating at a sit-down restaurant.

Today I got the standard Italian sub. When I got to where I was going and finally opened it up to eat it The bread was hard and crusty. I did get it toasted before I left but it was so hard and chewy that I was unable to eat the bread so I just ate the meat cheese and vegetables. Probably better for me. I don't know I think I'm done with Subway I'll just drive the extra couple of miles to Publix. The guy behind the counter was super friendly everyone was nice in there place looks clean and well kept. I've never had a problem with the bread before.

We shared the Philly cheesesteak with no mushrooms, mango habanero chicken bites (8 ct) with sauce on the side, and garlic knots. He asked if we wanted the knots to come out first - and we said yes, that's a great idea! The cheesesteak came out first - with mushrooms. We had to send it back. Then the chicken bites came out second - with the sauce tossed in. We were shy to send it back because we are still waiting for the cheesesteak to be remade. Lastly, the garlic knots came last (when we were offered for it to come first). Maybe we'll come back on another day when it's not so busy. Their cheesesteak was good in portion! Mango habanero was spicier than what I'm used to. Garlic knots were a win.

As far as authentic German preperation goes, this place has it down. Yet, today's experience left me a bit...wanting. I wanted the dish I ordered to be served, but instead of Schnitzel Champignon, I was presented with Jagerschnitzel. While I enjoy the Jager finish, it wasn't the creamier, sour cream based with mushroom treatment my mouth was set for. As it took much longer to receive our food order than in past visits, (it was a busy afternoon at the Cafe), so a tad longer wait was to be expected. And, as I did not wish to wait another 20 min. for a refired order, I settled for the dish that was presented. We had driven 40+ mins. from Port Orange to celebrate my daughter's b-day, per her request, and were happy to do so. Still, some nagging details...incorrect order, smaller portions of Schnitz and spatzele (except for the red cabbage), and higher prices left the experience to be less than desired. I know it's a tough industry to be sure..but having had better experiences in the past here, I was hoping it would match those times, instead of setting new less than thrilling standards.
