So we got done at a trade show close to 8:00. We had stayed out to 3am the night before. So we were like we need to eat and then pass out. My only prerequisite was a quiet place with quick food. This place was completely empty. One lowly chef standing at a counter staring out. So we went in. I got the lamb burger and my cohort got the turkey. They were really good. We split the bbq cheese fries. The fries were the best part. They were super crispy and covered in cheese and barbecue sauce. Not sure if the joint is always that empty but if I were you and I wanted a fast meal that's pretty good I'd stop in here.

I was really taken back on how great the burger was. Limited seating for dining in. Chicken Alfredo okay but you do have to account for them specializing in burgers. Service was nice and attentive. Good prices.

This small place packs a big flavor punch. Huge, delicious & juicy chicken tenders are among the best I've ever had! Lincoln Tunnel Burger was presented like it was from somewhere twice as expensive and cooked perfectly. Fast, friendly service.

After several months of wanting to try this spot (and having once made the attempt but finding they were closed) I got to try burger world at last! I've had my eye on the poutine fries forever and considering the gravy usually has beef in it and is therefore rarely vegetarian or halal, trying it at this halal establishment was a must. I couldn't say I liked it very much though. The saltiness of the poutine fries were overpowering. I was immediately parched after just a few bites. It was definitely beefy and the gravy was thick. Poutine consists of cheese curds but this was clearly just melted mozzarella. I didn't expect authenticity so it wasn't really a big deal. The beef in the beef burgers was very generic and the sauces were boring. Just ketchup. Nothing extraordinary. The turkey bacon was put on so sparingly it was embarrassing (as you can see from the photo). Overall the burgers looked pretty good but taste wise were just average. I brought a cousin from England here and he really loved his burger (he says the beef burgers back home are the flat patties) but my brother who has tried dozens of beef burgers rated it pretty standard. I think their selection is really great but I can't say I'd be back when there's plenty of better options in the area.

Keepin it real out here in Midtown/Hells Kitchen The place is a good affordable lunch spot for the area. You can definitely get super full without breaking the bank. Took my anemic coworker there cause he could really use some good iron from a burger. We got just that, the taste of the burger could improve though. It felt like eating in a less fancy diner with just ok quality food. Usually I wouldn't care but the place is literally called Burger World.... Probably won't visit again any time soon unless i become anemic myself

So Delicious!!!!! It's been almost a year and I need to give some real justice to this review and edit it for the best because after all this time I'm still thinking about that burger, that magnificent, breathtaking, juicy meal of a burger I had that beautiful day ten months ago in my first visit to the city that never sleeps, New York. After a long and exciting day walking the streets and exploring the concrete jungle of the city it was time for a meal. I need it my energy back and I was craving a burger, after hours of looking I found a place near my hotel at the time and for the inconvenience it was at walking distance and the name of that place, well, my audience you are correct it was BURGER WORLD located at 534 9th Ave, New York. We sat down at this location. Lucky us, we were the only ones when we walked in but after minutes the place got packed. I ordered the Burger World Special Burger, a single beef patty with two slices of American cheese dressed in a house sauce and two shiny toasty buns along with some golden fries. The first bite was an adrenaline punch to my taste buds, I couldn't believe it I was speechless of all the flavors it had, all the flavors my tongue was experiencing at the time how this simplicity of a burger was delivering these flavors. That first bite changed my day. And after ten months I'm still thinking about that burger of that delightful day In New York city. Thank you.

I had a chicken gyro and my daughter had a burger with garlic fries. They made the burger with all her favorite toppings and the service was extremely friendly. The sauce on my gyro was delicious. The decor could use some updating, but don't let that stop you from checking this place out.

I was happy to see certain items on the menu were designated as vegetarian. If I lived in town I would come back and try all their veggie friendly options. The small order of veg dumplings was a very reasonable price and portion. I thought they were well stuffed with veggies. I was a little disappointed with the dumpling wrapper- i prefer a lighter softer wrapper. But overall I still ate it all, and it was a quick nice snack. My husband really enjoyed his orange chicken with rice and veggies. It was a huge portion- he was only able to eat half of it. Great value.

The pork soup dumplings arrived literally spilling pink/red liquid that looked like blood. My mother had never tried soup dumplings before, so we were hoping for a fun experience, but she immediately spit it out. I brought it back and showed the staff the uncooked pork and the blood/red liquid on the napkin. They simply re-steamed them and brought them back except now there was no soup left inside the dumplings at all. The chicken teriyaki was tough and chewy, almost like jerky, as if it had been overcooked on an extremely hot grill or deep fried too long. The spring rolls were mediocre at best, with vegetables inside that had a mushy, paste-like texture. Very disappointing. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the rice. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Don't let the small burger fool you, it's definitely heart. The burger has onions smashed in them and the patty is so juicy. A double cheeseburger burger for $9.50? In New York City none the less. This time at the Times Square location after seeing Oh! Mary. Classic cheese smashburgers paired with Mexican Cokes. It's easily one of the better smashburgers around--juicy patty, delicious sauce, grilled onions, pickles and a soft bun. The burgers are on the smaller side (not White Castle small, but my daughter usually eats two!), but at $6.50 for a single patty cheeseburger, it's a OK value. Don't skip the fries--they are crispy, delicious, and a generous portion for the price. Quick, easy, and fast! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and easygoing. One small snag at this location. My daughter requested, "no pickles." There were pickles in her burger. No biggie. She simply took them out and gave them to me. This location's supervisor overheard us. He apologized. We told him it was ok. No big deal. He didn't accept that. While we appreciated his standards, we felt put on the spot as much as his crew did. We felt bad for the cashier and made sure we told him we were sorry for how things went down. None of it was needed nor justified. Hence, the 4 out of 5 stars! Fast-casual vibe that feels a bit more low-key than standard fast-food joints. At this location there's a few booths, but they are usually occupied. We had to wait a few minutes until people left to get seats. 7th Street always hits!

We hopped in line but waited less than a minute because the service was incredibly fast. I managed to snatch a table within 30 seconds, and my husband got our food in less than two minutes. The food was actually really good--we got the chicken sandwich, which features three chicken tenders with lettuce and their special sauce, served with french fries and a Coke. Everything was delicious and very well priced. Getting a seat and having such quick service made everything work out perfectly. I also loved the ambiance of the store, they play cool music and the decor is great, especially the disco balls! I ordered the three finger combo. What came out was just plain sad looking. Tiny chicken fingers, barely cooked fries. The Raising Cane's sauce was good but the vessels to that sauce were so lacking. The breading on these chicken fingers was nothing special and again, so so small. Service was fast at least, but the place itself was dirty and virtually every table needed a wipe down. I know, I know, it's Penn Station, it's supposed to be a little grimy. Honestly, if these chicken fingers weren't so tiny and my fries were properly cooked I could deal with a little grime. A classic NYC hole-in-the-wall, this place is almost designed to be missed. Blink, check your phone, or dodge one too many pedestrians, and you've walked right past it. Try not to, it's worth the stop. Pricing sits a little on the higher side for a combo, but let's be honest - this is New York. The burgers are bold, satisfying, and built to impress. I went for the chicken and veggie sandwiches, both dressed with a mango lime sauce that genuinely were very flavorful. The tomato aioli on the side was another win. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and dusted with a Cajun-meets-Indian spice blend that somehow makes complete sense and zero sense at the same time - in the best way. The setup inside this dimly lit restaurant had a bunch of steam tables offering various beef and chicken dishes, a handful of rice options, and a bunch of salads/fruits. Having no idea what we were looking at, we asked the friendly owner for some advice. After some contemplation, two of us made a plate with all beef over some jollof rice, and another with basically all chicken items over a different type of flavorful rice. We knew it was too much, but our goal was to figure out what we would come back for. Honestly, I did not enjoy most of the chicken because it's sitting in steam trays getting overcooked. Not saying they were terrible, but it all fails in comparison to all the great beef offerings. OMG! You really can't go wrong with any of the beef dishes. My cuisine rating is really based on the various beef items, the yummy veggies, and both amazing rice. The current price is $10.99 per pound regardless what you fill your box with, except a couple of items. We filled our two boxes with about 4lbs of food.
