I came out here because I was disappointed by the hype around Toasty's. Not the most flavorful and overall mediocre burgers. But week-end burgers came up upon searching in the Louisville Take Out Facebook group. Had to come by and try it. It's a drive for me to get to this part of town but absolutely worth it! Tons of parking around the building. It's on the side of a gas station. My sister and I got double cheeseburgers. Thin patties, so you gotta do the double. And we shared onion rings and Cajun fries. Fresh and hot! The Cajun fries are like the ones from five guys but not as overseasoned. I've been missing out this whole time! So happy they're here. Saw tons of customers coming in and out for takeout orders. Can't wait to come back!!

I really don't know about the service or ambiance because this mid afternoon snack was door dashed. I had the onion rings w/ a 1/3 lb bacon cheeseburger. I only had 6 onion rings, which were seasoned and tasty but it was only 6 lol And my lunch companion had the double bacon cheeseburger with a big fry. The big fry was two small styrofoam boxes filled with very seasoned French fries that came with queso. The food was seasoned well and arrived still warm. I would eat here again.

It was sooo good, that they asked for them again two days later (which is pizza night in my house that says a lot). The patties had great flavor, the meat had a kiss of crisp in the right places. The fries were top notch & perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend you giving them a try. For reference, this is a food truck located next to The Golden Nugget. Seating is 4 nicely built picnic tables and thank goodness for the deck - we came right after a monsoon & the deck saved us all from over-ankle deep puddles.

Maybe my hopes were too high for a Burger Week grand opening, but even with the special BW pricing, I felt the value was a bit pricy, and without the special, prices were high. The sliders were small, and there was nothing special about them. They honestly were probably the most basic of options offered for BW. The service was friendly & helpful. You order at the truck next to Golden Nugget, then you'll get a text when the food is ready. We opted to go & wait inside because it was July & hot. I like the shared space of eating from a truck & getting drinks from a bar. I could see myself getting fries as a snack as I drink at GN, but I doubt I ever get an actual meal here.

I was skeptical based on the outside, but the place goes hard. 10/10 a better smash burger than Toastys or anyone else in town. Has become my go to spot. It seemed like the perfect spot since we were in the mood for a smash burger and wanted to try something new. When we arrived at the restaurant, we walked inside to the left (not through the patio door) and went to counter which had menus laying on it. The inside is smaller, more intimate, with limited seating however there are about four patio tables outside as well. Based on other reviews that I have read, you can take your food next-door to Frankfort liquors and eat there while enjoying a drink or you can also order from there as they have QR codes on the bar. The staff will even bring it over to you which I confirmed after we finished eating and walked next door to check it out. Once we placed our order, the cashier walked into the Kitchen to make it. We each got a double smash burger and shared an order of beef tallow fries. It wasn't really busy so the food didn't take very long and of course came out hot and fresh. The burger patties were much bigger than I expected, literally hanging off the bun but were the perfect amount of smash. Some smash burgers in my experience have had their edges too crispy. I know a lot of people like this, but I prefer my smash burger with substantial edges. The food was SO GOOD! 10/10 recommend. Literally the perfect burger meal. My husband makes a mean smash burger, and this was definitely competition. I honestly can't wait to go back.

While the fries were great, I found the burger salty and the bread overpowered the bite. It looked more appetizing than it was and I didn't care to finish it.
