After seeing this place on a fairly regular basis, an evening stroll finally brought me inside to this hip little joint. I really like the somewhat hipster vibe happening here, but would assume it is lost on the Lynbrook crowd. I had a hot dog and waffle fries, which seems ridiculous considering this is a burger place, but it was what I was craving at the moment. Standard hot dog. Standard fries. Not terrible; not wow. I would come back here to try a burger for sure. read more

You guys are awesome! The burgers here are insane, Top 5 on my personal list of burgers. Our office orders from here a lot, I wish they delivered but pick up is fine. The don burger with the bacon egg and cheese.....my goddddddddd, it's absurdly delicious. So sweet potato fries...just try them, don't ask any questions read more

Burger Shack - Burgers Near Me - Lynbrook, New York

Love this place. My daughters have gone to them since they were at their old, lit tule location across the street. The food is great, great selection and the people are awesome. The prices are fair as well. I would definitely recommend this place. The Broadway burger is FUGGIN AMAZING!! read more

Food was very good,, way better than fast food burgers. Milk shake was even good.. I order from Yelp all the time and my big critique is that the driver delivered promptly but never called me or even rang the bell! Out of curiosity I check Yelp 25 min later,,, they say the food was delivered.. Normally I wouldn't care, I'm not a review type guy,, but I just had a medical procedure and am stuck in the house,, never expected to have to go downstairs and hunt around for my ice cold food!! If you order, remember to leave them "special instructions" to call, or ring the bell ! The restaurant gave me some lame excuse, as if they have no connection in the order and delivery process.. Again, if the food wasn't decent,, I wouldn't have bothered, and just never went back.. The delivery is supposed to be the easy part! Lol read more

Burger Shack - The menu - Burgers Near Me - Lynbrook, New York

Let me start by saying i've been going to this place since it was in the other location across the street, and although it lost it's small business charm, it's now got video games at every table and has become an immediate favorite for everyone i've taken. Favorite burger spot without a doubt, every time i tell people about this place i sound a little too obsessed. I always get their Don burger with a side of fries- the burger has bacon, cheese, onion rings and bbq sauce. The burgers are big, perfectly cooked, and have quality ingredients that don't taste like cheap fried fast food. Fries are always perfectly crispy and seasoned. I once got their chocolate chip ice cream sandwich and ohhh man was it good. Perfectly chewy chocolatey cookie with soft vanilla ice cream, a must try. read more

Not quite what I expected. Food came out cold. Service going down. Over all quality dropped. read more

I admit the burger was very good. Cooked just to order and good proportions of meat to bun to topping. The shake was very good. But why is it so hard for all these burger joints to take the customer seriously when crispy fries are requested? Most of mine were limp. read more

Can't believe I just picked up an order And someone is not wearing a mask and coughed twice behind the register

When they were across the street, they were happy to serve a customer a rare burger of good quality beef. Now, just a small patty of overcooked beef, a little bit of cheese, and aome bacon that's hard as a rock. You should have stayed across the street. My meal was horrible. read more

Delicious delicious delicious ! Ordered for delivery and I ordered the spicy Mike burger and it was so tasty. Lots of flavor. Chocolate milkshakes are so good too. Would definitely eat from here again. read more

Finally a great burger spot. Food always arrives hot and ready to dig in. I usually get the turkey burger or chicken. Both are great options. I would like to try more! read more

This replaces the go to for my daughter and many other friends as it is very close to our high school. For me, it's a fantastic Local Burger joint. Every time I get a burger, I'm depressed when I get to the last bite. I guess that's a good thing but I kind of want to go back for a second. LOL read more

This Place is a great location for a burger that's not fast food and quality we recently start ordering delivery from them and we do not regret it all the burgers a quick cooked perfectly and the fries are amazing the Coney Island hotdog is really good as well and the pricings fair for the quality of food we order from them frequently and I've never had an issue with our orders I can only speak about delivery as I've never eaten at the restaurant definitely give them a try read more

I ordered a Don Burger with an extra patty. It was very tasty. The beef was cooked well. It was flavorful, bacon was crispy and the Ranch and BBQ sauce add nice tang to it. The employees are nice and attentive. The prices are reasonable for what they provide. Location is very convenient, it's near the P.O, LIRR station, Movie Theatre and the High School. Overall, a good establishment. P.S. Keep in mind the times you go, it gets busy with all the High School students that come here during lunch time. read more

Great knowledgeable and experienced staff, amazing burgers ( on thinner side - so consider getting double stack). Had mine rare and it was puuurrtfffccctttooooo. Fried is crispy and just right. Also got some fried Pickens to go. - they turned out a bit to crispy for me but you make like that cause they are sure soft and juice inside. read more

Burger Shack serves up a delicious, made-from-scratch burger. Consider it to be your neighborhood five guys competitor, except with more options, including waffle fries, onion rings, grilled chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, and more. The signature options on the menu (which I learned are often named after real people who helped create them, such as The Don and The Mike) are also unique and quite delicious. My personal favorite here is the Lynbrook Burger, which is essentially a bacon cheddar cheeseburger. Although the burgers do not come with fries, I do recommend adding them on the side (or try loaded versions like cheesy fries or disco fries). Service here is also great! Patsy and crew do a great job of taking and serving up orders in a timely manner. You'll find the place to be a bit small (it is a "Shack" after all), but there's certainly enough seating for those wanting to eat in. The most challenging part of eating here is parking. Be advised that parking is *not* allowed in the shopping center next door. I've actually seen local authorities standing by at the parking lot and putting a boot on cars in the span that people are either at Burger Shack or the other stores on this street. Be sure to instead find street parking. Fortunately, if you're a train-goer, the location of this store is directly across the street from the Lynbrook train station. It's a terrific location! So do yourself a favor and stop by for one of these tasty burgers! read more

Truly one of my favorite places to get burgers! Order here all the time usually on uber eats and everything is always perfect hot and delicious. Today I went in and there was a small mix up with my order they made it right and then gave me and my friend complimentary milkshakes. Customer service done right even in the middle of a pandemic. Food is delicious too! Go here! read more

Yes! Yes! Yes! And yes! My husband and I went here with a group of friends. Everything we ordered was delicious! The Nutella milkshake was the perfect pair to my Hawaiian hamburger. I want to go back and try their salads. The place itself is small but fits a decent amount of people in there, they are planning to move across the street soon so they will have more room. Also, the employees were super nice, food came out quick, and it was really clean. Can't wait to go back!! TIP: during the school year all the students go there during their lunch break and it gets packed. read more

This place is slow! Burgers dry and over cooked...more like burned. They no longer have their liquor license so no burger and beers. I asked for waffle fries and they served me sweet potato fries and insisted that crinkle cut fries were waffle fries. To me waffle fries are Lattice cut but I guess I'm crazy. I would never go back. They only had two people manning the stations. Not worth the money. I wouldn't go back. The style is everything like shake shack but shake shack near north shore LIJ hm hm hm they have a good chicken sandwich crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. THIS IS NO SHAKE SHACK read more

My favorite burger spot! Always a hit. I enjoy the grilled cheese with the mozzarella sticks! Also the Mac and cheese burger is yummy.

Really happy to have a good burger place in Lynbrook. The place is tiny, so I plan my visit strategically around Lynbrook High's lunch breaks. (If you go to the high school though they have a sweet lunch special for students so you should totally go there). On our recent visit we got a Spicy Mike Burger (Pepper Jack, Onion Rings, Bacon, Spicy Ranch - sans jalapeno this time) with fries and a Grilled Cheese Burger with chili fries. The bread on the Spicy Mike was soft, and I had a good ratio of sauce to toppings to burger. The Grilled Cheese Burger was good (but I think it was more like toasted bread with a cheeseburger in it...still good I was just expecting a little more "grilled cheese forward"). I'm a sucker for fries, and I really liked their standard fry option. I wasn't as thrilled with the chili fries but I think it was because I liked the fries on their own more. We did finish off the meal with some milkshakes, and I loved my Nutella shake! The chocolate was super chocolaty so a great option if you love chocolate. The prices are good, I think my burger was around $6.50 and the fries were a couple bucks. I'll definitely be back when I have a burger craving! read more

Definitely the best burgers in Nassau! They have an awesome menu as well as an unlimited toppings option, and fast service! I recommend the spicy mike! read more

WARNING: Do not go here if you're trying to be on a diet! The prices and burgers are so great, you won't be able to contain yourself, trust me. I've visited here twice. It has kind of an odd location, it's on a little side strip between an Italian restaurant and a hair salon. Nonetheless, the place is doing something right! It's a bit small, but it can seat a nice amount of people. Now down to the good stuff- the food. This food is cheap for what you're getting, compared to other made to order burger chains. I've only had one burger here (I broke my rule of trying something new every time because I am addicted to this burger). In a post burger coma at the moment, the name escapes me. But it's a main burger with mushrooms, pepper jack cheese, and spicy mayo. Guys- seriously- I eat this type of burger wherever I can but never have I had one so delicious. My boyfriend swears by the Broadway Burger and I really want to try the Fried Mac & Cheese burger (yes, you heard me right). The burger sizes aren't huge, but still very good! It leaves room for sides. I've had the sweet potato fries- so yummy. Crispy and long, love 'em. And they gave us a ton for a regular order. Today we ordered the fried pickles, they were fried perfectly and once again- we were given a lot. We also tried the milkshakes this time. They have the classics: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry (!!!) and my boyfriend, who is a milkshake snob- thought they were amazing. Thick and flavorful with just enough give to enjoy it. They have a LOT more to choose from. You can also substitute any burger for a chicken, turkey, or veggie burger. They have a make-your-own burger. Fried Mac and Cheese, hot dogs, and chicken wings. The prices are so great that it really doesn't break the bank to eat here, obsessed! I can't wait to come back again. read more

Pros: burger tasted great, fries were exceptional, as was the shake good service, clean kitchen, free wifi, hotdog, root beer. Needs improvement: milk shake straws collapse when suckled, need blue cheese crumbles option on burgers, and they were out of frickles. We will be back food was excellent. Decent burger. Bad value if you substitute a non in-house made frozen veggie burger patty for a $2.25 supplemental charge. Seems like if the quality of the beef was good, there would be no discrepancy in the veggie burger price, thus no surcharge. read more

There are many places doing burgers now a days, but few seem to get it right. Burger Shack does it perfect, without breaking the bank to boot! Creative combinations, tasted great, hot, fresh..
