Ordered 2 burgers on line for pick up. Said order would be ready at 7:08. Got there at 7:10 & was told it was changed to 7:35! There was nothing on phone to indicate change. Went back at 7:35. Order ready & sitting there. Of course the burgers were lukewarm! This is no way to keep customers. There are at least a dozen burger places in area- go to one of them! read more

Sooo good. I've heard really good things about this place for awhile now and finally decided to go in for myself. The interior design was pretty neat, the sole staff member I interacted with was pleasant, and most importantly, the food is amazing. Will definitely be back soon! read more

Everything that I (or anyone that I have gone with) have ordered on this menu has been absolutely AMAZING!!!!! The owner and the staff are extremely friendly, prices are fair and your order is ready very quickly even at their busiest times. I am a vegetarian and it is difficult to find a really good tasting veggie burger; Burger Shack nails it, though. I ordered it as a Sunrise Burger which comes with sautéed mushrooms, pepper jack and spicy ranch on a delicious bun! I have been looking for a great spicy ranch for so long and theirs is, by far, my favorite. I ordered their skinny fries with melted cheese and bacon; they come as waffle fries but I have also gotten them with regular fries and either way you order, you cannot go wrong. The sweet potato fries were delicious as well! The beef burgers are juicy and the turkey burgers are great as well. The burgers are never greasy and you do not feel that "gross" feeling after eating here. For me, a MUST order are the mozzarella sticks; they are phenomenal. Lastly, do NOT leave without getting one of their famous Nutella milkshakes!!!!! I will never go anywhere else for a milkshake again! read more

Cute place, great burgers, shakes and onion rings. Best burger I've had in a while, delicious and not greasy at all.

An awesome burger joint! Went there for the first time today. Picked up the most expensive burger with a side of fries and was somehow still pretty affordable coming at $10 and change. The burger was fantastic and even the fries were killer! This place is small and tucked away, but if you're looking for a damn good burger in lynbrook, this is your new favorite spot! read more

My goodness, this is what I'm looking for when I'm craving a good burger for lunch! II must of passed it two or three times when looking for it, because it's a small place and you can easily miss it driving passed, but I'm happy I committed and parallel parked right in front! This place has great combinations for their burgers, and a great variety, providing a great beef burger, in addition to chicken, turkey, and veggie options. I'm partial to The Don, which has cheddar, bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce (I get mine without the offered ranch,) and The B.E.C., a delicious bacon, egg, & cheese burger. The dude that's usually at the counter is always really nice and attentive to the guests; not like many of these other local restaurants that have disinterested teenagers upfront on their phones. Do yourself a favor and drive right passed Valencia Ravioli and stop over here at Burger Shack. read more

Turkey burger okay and my fault I should order without bacon but extra onions. Waffle fries too salty Jalapeño poppers were okay My uber driver was rude and used foul language read more

I'm so glad my brother introduced me to this place! When you walk in you can be overwhelmed by the size of the menu, but it's broken down really nicely. They have hot dogs, specialty burgers and fries, and even some nice looking salads. I ordered regular fries and a plain cheeseburger.. I know "boringgggg" but, I just wanted something simple. I also ordered a small vanilla milkshake. My brother ordered the fried mac and cheese burger and waffle fries. We both spent less than $10 each! The guy behind the counter was super nice and was even bringing the orders to the tables. It only took about 5 minutes for everything to be ready. We dug in right away. The burger was soo delicious because it had little chopped up onions in it. Mmm. The fries were good, but could've been crispier. The milkshake was thick and creamy and so good! My brother's waffle fries were beyond delicious, though. Definitely will be going back, especially for the price. Next time I'll get the waffle fries with one of their signature burgers, like the "grilled cheese" burger! read more

First time reviewer that's how happy I was with this food! Great food all around! Ordered takeout-delivery from the Burger Shack today for the first time, couple of burgers, appetizers, fries, and even milkshakes! The customer service was professional and friendly having called to "double check" how we wanted our cheese fries. The burgers were some of the best we've had in a long time. The jalapeño poppers and fried mac apps are a must try! Even the milkshakes were delicious. Glad to this place is around! Will be ordering again no doubt. read more

In town to visit f and f This place was recommended by a friend to me. Was not impressed but wasn't turned away either. Ordered the Don burger with the waffle fries with cheese and bacon. FYI the fresh beef patties are only 1/4 lb. would b nice if they could at least bump it up to say 1/3 lb read more

Placed an order the other day for two burgers and some sides, found two hairs in one of the burgers. Pretty disgusting and could easily be avoided with the use of a simple hair net. Needless to say won't be coming back. Too bad cause the other burger wasn't half bad. read more

Good food and cheap. Most of the items are fried, so hard to get that wrong. I got the chicken burger and it was delicious ( it's a ground-chicken patty and not a grilled breast). It was my first time, so I didn't know about their awesome toppings (some spicy ranch would have made my burger even better). I will be back for sure, keep the good food coming..... Waffle Fries with gravy... WoW. read more

One of the few places with an actual veggie burger instead of those "plant based" trash burgers most places switched to. Incredible veggie burger, great prices, excellent fries, great service. I just randomly found this place on my phone but I would definitely come back. read more

This place was awesome! The atmosphere was super chill and I love the drawings all over the wall. It's different and really cool. The food is amazing!! So delicious, creative and a perfect place for munching. I had the fried Mac and cheese (DELICIOUS) a side of fries and a Nutella milkshake (DELICIOUS!!) Everything tasted great and was brought to our table. The guy behind the counter was nice, helpful and had great customer service. Definitely going to be a regular customer! read more

Stopped by twice so far and really enjoyed the food. It's a great place for grab n go burgers. My favorite is the Broadway Burger - Mozzarella Cheese, Onion Rings and BBQ Sauce- delicious! I'm a vegetarian so I like that I have the option to swap out items with a veggie pattie. read more

I've been going to Burger Shack since I moved to Lynbrook about a year ago. The food is delicious and made with love! I always order the sunrise burger. Their sauces are BANGING. They also give good advice HA! I almost ordered a sunrise burger without mushrooms, the guy on the phone was totally right about the shrooms making the burger. Try it! Even if you don't like mushrooms they have TONS of cool food to try. read more

Found this little gem today and was not disappointed! The prices were great, the staff was friendly, and the place itself was really cool. My boyfriend and I both got a strawberry milkshake and Spicy Mike burgers. We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. Will be returning! read more

This place was wonderful! Me and a friend found this place a mile away from us so we decided to head on down and give it a go. The place was spotless when we went in!! And it had a nice style with all the paintings and portraits on the walls. The chalk boards when we walked in behind the counter were covered in gorgeous artwork of classical throwback characters like Mario, majoras mask link, ed edd and eddy, Hey Arnold and a ton more!! So my friend ordered a Spicy Mike burger with a strawberry milkshake. It had smoked bacon, melted pepper jack cheese, onion rings, jalapeño peppers and a original spicy ranch sauce. He literally had to take a full breather from eating cause he was sweating like crazy from the spiciness! And for me I got a Broadway burger with the BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES IVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! This burger consisted of mozzarella cheese, BBQ sauce and onion rings. The flavor was a perfect blend of crunchy and chewy and it was extremely sweet because of the sauce which gave it an outstanding kick. The service was extremely kind and gotta say impressively fast. The prices are incredible!! The burgers themselves look like above average well made diner burgers and they're only about 5-7$!!! If you're really looking for a tasty place to quickly pop in and order marvelous food, this place is top of the scoreboard! read more

I went here after visiting the post office across the street. I was pleasantly surprised to come here with my family for lunch, after asking the postal worker if she would recommend for us to eat here. The food was extremely good. I ordered the 97 burgers which is a 4oz patty with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It comes with their homemade Russian dressing which tastes soooo similar to a Big Mac. Their waffle fries and onions rings came out hot and fresh. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area. The staff members are pleasant and the food came out pretty quickly. Two thumbs up! read more

Burger Shack has taken over the space where the take-out version of Swingbelly's (a flawed experiment that had much potential but failed due to its small portions and high prices) once stood. So how does it stack up? Not too good. Upon first entering you're met with a decent sized menu with a variety of burger combinations and more and I will say that prices are very fair so I'll give it a star just for the fact you can get a shake that's about $2, which is practically absurd. This is primarily a take-out joint so don't come expecting anything fancy here but the place is clean; you don't come here for the ambiance folks. I ordered my meal, waited 15 minutes and out I went to feast. I ordered the Summer Burger (Swiss cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and balsamic vinegar) along with an order of sweet potato fries. The fries I'll sum up in a word, awful. I love sweet potato fries with a passion that burns brighter than their orange skin but I could barely stomach these fries. The texture was okay but they either are using bad potatoes or need to change up their cooking ingredients because they were extremely mediocre. The burger, though decent in size was equally bland. The vegetables were nothing special and when I saw avocado I thought I was going to get guacamole for some reason, an error on my part, but I'd highly recommend that they turn that avocado into guac on future iterations of this burger because the avocado felt very out of place but as a garnish it may have worked better. The balsamic dressing made the burger extremely messy as well, so it may not work as well in practice than it sounds in theory. The actual burger was unmemorable, lacking much flavor, with a skimpy portion of cheese; it did not taste like this was anything but a frozen patty. If you're having problems with the key ingredient in the burger, no combination of ingredients will change things. Yes I paid next to nothing for my meal but sometimes savings aren't everything if it means mediocre food. Since Burger Shack is still new in the neighborhood, I wish them success in the future and hope they work on improving their menu options so that they can bring in new customers and keep old ones because as of this moment, I will never be coming back, and suggest you be wary before you come here as well. read more

Don't know what these other reviews are about but burger shack is sooooo good. If you are debating on going to burger bandit down the block or here, choose here! Been here a couple times and have never been disappointed. Burgers are excellent. Sweet potato fries are made perfectly and they give you a big portion for $2.50. Nutella shake is awesome! Must try! We love these burgers. The staff is always so nice. The burgers are always fresh. Fast food prices, restaurant quality food!

Food was cold. Burger was still pink in the middle. Food was delivered by Grub Hub and they put the cold drinks next to the hot food in the insulated cooler. Of course that cools the hot food faster than it warms the cold drinks. read more

Just got a burger from there- the Sunrise. It was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the brioche bun- it was too big (too much bread) but overall the burger was good. I really liked the spice of the sauce. Waffle fries and sweet potato fries were very good as well. Would definitely go back to try the other burgers. read more

Having a mediocre burger from Burger Shack only makes me miss SwingBelly's that much more. First attempt I ordered medium rare, but it was a little too rare for my taste and not in a good way. Second attempt went medium, cooked properly but bland. I'll say it in every Yelp burger review, if you're going to sell yourself on your burgers by including "burger" in the name of your place, and not go beyond a possibly frozen, flavorless patty, then why bother? If you're in high school looking for a student special, I suppose it's better than fast food, but having been unimpressed twice I would rather cook my own burger or go to either Brick or GM BurgerBar. read more
