Tri-Boro is located in Astoria, along the BQE highway and in a semi-rural location of the hood. The setup almost looks like a gas station, except the place is loaded full of craft beers. There no doubt they have some of the best selection in the borough, if not the city. They have had a lot of popular brands as well as some obscure ones, many of which are not local to the NYC. They have beer via bottles / packages, as well as via kegs. Their prices are pretty good for what they have and ordering can actually be done online. Many of the kegs range from $150-300 and the staff is pretty good about helping folks get it setup properly. The only thing they don't have is a lot of international beers. I've had to look in other places for more bulk type stuff, but when it comes to craft beer, Tri-Boro is as reliable as they come.

They offer beer (by the bottle or pack), liquor & wine from NY. Domestic & International passengers welcome. It's not duty free, it's just a local flavor shop. They even have some snacks and jams and peanut butter etc. The liquor choices are unique (and pricey... the one beach plum gin I saw was over $60 a bottle). There were some affordable wine ($17-20 on the low end). But I was just wanting to bring home some beer. $3 each (12-oz glass bottle mostly, or a few can beer options) or $12-16 4-6 pack. That is quite reasonably priced in my opinion. I ended up with a can of Crisp & a can of Bronx Pale Ale. It's definitely a much better "souvenir" choice than a lousy tshirt.

There are certainly plenty of liquor and wine stores to choose from in this area, however, I have found this place to have the best selection with the best prices. I have been here several times to procure Glenlivet 18-year-old single malt scotch which retails in other locations for $125 or more. They sell it here for $99. They also carry a wide range of other high-end liquor a at very competitive prices. The staff is very helpful and friendly and has ordered many of the items that I have requested without issue.
