    Carnitas tacos

Mi Casa is below average even for an airport restaurant, though the ability to order takeout online is convenient. The tacos I ordered had a limited toppings and hence were overpriced. Ever just some chopped onions would make them much better. Service is highly person dependent - the girl behind the bar didn't care at all to look for my online order, while the kitchen staff was much friendlier.

Amazing experience at the airport, margaritas is a must! DUH. Their nachos with their homemade fresh guacamole won't fail you if you need an appetizer for your drink, service is amazing, my bartender MD SAZZAD HOSSAIN is the best!! The environment made me feel like I wasn't even waiting for my flight "0" stress can you believe that!?, definitely you'll want to have a cocktail if you just walk in the front and hear the music!!!!

Stopped in for a small overpriced beer - but the lemon I didn't want comes free - refrained from ordering beer because of what I saw around me and the Yelp reviews. But the music is what drove me away my God it could turn you mad .

Food was marginal, dry and doesnt taste fresh. The people behind the bar are not friendly or attentive if you aren't ordering alcohol and you only eat food.

Food is stale and majorly overpriced. Kids can't sit in the main area. Drinks are very weak but look nice. Service is amiable.

Breakfast bowl w/o cheese & queso sauce

Traveling & wanted to grab breakfast that I can eat on my limited diet & a mimosa It's just a walk up bar type place & the people working there were nice & attentive. I was able to order the breakfast bowl minus the queso & cheese sauce ($11.99) & it was a pretty big bowl & it came out quick! The eggs looked a little suspicious like they were powdered eggs, but they didn't taste like it. I think the eggs were microwaved, not a huge deal, the pico was fresh & it was filling. What we had a hard time with is that the drinks were outrageous! $12.99 for draft, $22 margaritas & $18.99 mimosas. REALLY?! Even the cost of the wine was what a whole bottle would cost. I can't see us coming back when traveling.

Great place to mingle before or after your flight! I got an espresso martini, it was lovely! Our server hossain was playing throwback jams and let us sing along. Definitely stop by if you are at LGA

Nothing special about this place but I can't say it was bad either. I got the barbacoa bowl, which was ok. Would have been better if they'd added salsa or something. I wanted one of the beers they had on tap but they said they didn't have it; I got the impression none of the taps worked and they only had bottled beers. It's just as well. This place is expensive. My bowl was $16. Beers were around $10 and mixed drinks were around $20. Only in New York, I guess. I ended up getting a [$4] Pepsi but they never refilled my drink. As expensive as the place was, it's par for the course for places on the concourse. Not thrilled, but what are you going to do? So it wasn't great, but not as bad as the other reviews make it out to be.

Not fluent in English, but very friendly service. They have an extensive menu! They give complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa is a sweet tomato-y salsa and the chips are crisp. The Chimichanga with Cecina (Salted Beef) was stuffed! Crisp fried exterior, covered in flavorful red (tomato-y) and green (herb-y) sauces. The cecina is perfectly salted. I enjoyed the guac and chips (same as the complimentary chips) and pico on the side added freshness. They also have a house red and green sauce, which have a good kick and flavor to them. The Pineapple Juice is the right amount of sweetness and tart. I like that there's no ice so it's a full glass of juice! Overall a neat local spot to hit up for good food and friendly service (and a full bar!).

Mexican (and Tex-Mex) isn't an option that Queens lacks, but about a year ago the Chilaquiles on…read morethe menu put El Ranchero on my radar. Surprisingly, it is a dish that is hard to find in the Flushing/Fresh Meadows area especially in a sit down, comfortable restaurant. The Chilaquiles was a nice little plate of deliciousness - I loved the tangy green salsa soaked bed of tortilla with nicely fried over easy eggs (they way I ordered it). A fan of avocado, tomato and onions top the dish as well - it comes with a side of rice and beans. I recently returned when I was in the mood for enchiladas - they have combo option with beef, chicken and cheese. I ordered them divorced style with both red and green salsa. It comes blanketed with a shredded lettuce salad with tomato, onions and avocado. Rice and beans round out the dish. A couple of other dishes I tasted were the eggs with chorizo and the chimichanga - both were very good. I love their house salsas both a dark red and green one. They bring out tortilla chips with a thick salsa that is tomato-ey sweet. They have a full bar if you are so inclined and the service is very good here.

Ironically, earlier while trying to decide where to go for dinner, I had sent this restaurant to my friend but we ended up going somewhere else and came here for drinks afterward. The drinks were really good! We tried the "Sexy Oaxaca," which consists of 7 Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal, Cointreau, grilled pineapple, mint agave, fresh lemon, and warm salt. This drink takes your taste buds on a ride. It starts off light and refreshing with the mezcal throughout, then finishes with a smoky effect from the pineapple since it's lit. It was really good!! I also tried the "VIP Old Fashion," made with Patrón Extra Añejo, Nixta corn liqueur, Angostura, and orange bitters. This was also good and was smoked prior to being served, giving it a smoky aftertaste. It's definitely a drink you sip slowly. Although we arrived about an hour and a half before closing, the waiter was very polite and professional. They also didn't rush us out once it was closing time, which I appreciated. There were other customers still there enjoying themselves as well. I will definitely be back for dinner. I'm very curious to see what the food is like. I really enjoyed the drinks.

Nothing bad, but I felt like it could've been a bit better overall. The food was good though, I ordered the mixtos tacos, which let's you pick three different tacos from the menu. It was around $23, which is a little pricey. But the tacos were a decent size and definitely filling. My favorite thing I tried was the chori queso. I never had it before and it was honestly the standout dish for me. I would order that again. I also tried the enquites which is street corn. It had a bit of a burnt taste. I know some people enjoy that smokey flavor, but it really wasn't for me. Overall, it was a nice time and for some of the dishes too.
