I don't usually review here, but the owner of this place deserves it most. The best selection in craft beer with the best discounts and reward systems around. A true master of the craft, she put the customers first and spreads the fun out into the craft brew community that we love while giving access to the best that local craft beer has to offer. Every time I pop into the shop it's a warm welcome with lots of knowledge of the latest releases, and hot new items on the shelves. With a beer selection the likes of none I've seen this far in Queens, NY - yea - I grew up fast on the suds I suppose, the beer community is a fun place to stay and be merry. Beers from around the tilty globe with pictures of historic monasteries and a sourpatch dude look alike, stuck in a TV, smoking a cigarette. I felt like I was in Moscow or Alaska, minus the highway robbery price gouging. (I hear they like to tip a few over there in Putin's Land). There's a wall with a huge number of singles to make four or six packs from and take it as far as you want to, but that kinda reckless mixing can potentially lead to an exploding morning head. But, consider the important part that going the singles route, you're less likely to be going gonna buy a sixer that tastes like pumpkin dishrag, as it's the season, that you despise but drink anyway. *Waste not, want not" Boss Hogg. Me personally, I've never met a pumpkin beer I didn't enjoy spending some time with and I try to have them all. Gosh this is sounding more like a confession than a review. So I'm going further back when a voice sounds off from behind me inquiring about assistance. My brain was ready for a new suggestion as being the lone explorer on Starship Budweiser again just was not on my drinking to do list. At the far end are taps with lotsa Finbacks, my eves locked upon the last entry of a NY cider and as with europe and here in the USSA, we do the growler thing a few centuries late, but hey. Took that thirty duce into the rig and trucked it home with my only complaint -- I should have bought three or ten, hell, I've got a refrigerator and a freezer running in my garage, but truth be told, I like to pop in and meander. read more

i've been a client of beer town for over 10 years. I love the rustic look inside and the wooden floors. I find beer town's employees and owners to be incredibly kind and considerate to their customers. please know there is parking in the back and they will be more than happy to show you where it is. Their prices are compatible to other places in the neighborhood and their selection is large and their beer is definitely cold. My last visit was I believe the fourth time I've been there. On two visits I've asked the staff for help with finding what I was looking for & they were super helpful while remaining friendly. My faves are from Athletic Brewing Company, but they have plenty other options from other American breweries and from European breweries where non-alcoholic offerings have a long tradition. They just re opened after being closed for what seemed like a few months. Same owners which is awesome. The young lady there is really polite and remembered me and the Mrs today. They have all types of sodas and non alcoholic drinks(iced teas, fruit punches,etc). Of course they have beers from all over. If you haven't tried Belgium beer, you're missing out. They also carry the mixed drinks like Twisted Tea(Alcoholic Ice Tea). There is small separate room for cigars that is humidified to keep them from drying out. Parking is metered right out front. This has got to be one of the best stores here in Ozone Park. All the beer you can imagine from all over the world is here! Every person I've taken there or told them about it and who is not from the area says I wish my town had one of these, they even have a cigar room if you are about that life. Ive been coming here weekly for two years give or take. The customer service philip, sadaf and the rest of the staff is on point. They are very knowledgeable and very friendly. The selection of beer is ridiculous. You can spend a shitload of time in here if you are looking for variety. Also, there are nice cold beers in the fridge if you want a quick fix. I dont know how there are reviews about hot beer in mid winter but hater gonna hate and ainters gonna aint. Lol read more

The selection of beers are beyond believe, beers I've never heard of before and interested in trying and some I knew and were hard to find in my old neighborhoods. Everyone that I have encounter here knows what they are talking about and that's a huge plus for me since I can tell them I love Stella what do you recommend and they have a couple of selections for you, the price is very reasonable and you can easily save yourself $5 on a 12-pack of beer. Towards the back to the right they have beers inside the walk-in fridge so if you are on your way somewhere and need to bring something you can pass by here and get a few cold ones to the party.
