They tend to schedule extra visits and try to charge you extra! I had scheduled 4 visits as per my doctor's recommendation and showed up to all 4 and paid in time. At the end of 4th session, therapist told me that he has scheduled 2 more visits, talked with my doctor and get it approved?! Apparently they just decided tell me this on literally last second, just before I walked out. I told them I'm only coming to get an MRI since insurance makes you to go physical therapy first before you go to MRI and I don't need any extra visits. Looking at the progress we had in 4 visits, honestly, it seemed like I needed to go maybe for another year or so to recover. So 2 more visits are not going to do anything, anyone with a little bit of brain can see it. And let's be honest, there's nothing in this place that you cannot do on your own. Just watch some youtube videos do some googling and save your money people. I've never been to physical therapy before and I thought maybe there's some value. Couldn't have been more wrong. Anyway, I didn't schedule any more visits when the lady called on the phone I explained to her as well and ask them to not schedule anything. Some time later, I received a bill showing that I owe money for exactly same visits that I asked them to not schedule and I don't need. I think the staff is nice overall, but this type of greedy actions ruins everything for patients. I tried calling the number they send you in the bill and guess what, no one answers the phone and all you hear is 'go to website to pay your bill'. They have a phone number just to play that message.. Couldn't have seemed more fraudulent than that I think. You can check Burger Therapy's reviews in other locations as well to see how they're doing. Oh also I should mention, I have not fully recovered. While we're at it, this is a question to out there, is it legal to handle 5-6 patients at the same time here California? I read quite the opposite but what do I know. Here's your $150 burger.
